The 16 cylinder engine is developed by Steve Morris and really is able to produce 5000hp and It’s based off the ls engine. Cooling that powerful of an engine could prove quite difficult seeing as roughly 1/3 of the heat energy is typically soaked up by the cooling system. It would serve better as a drag racing engine that stays at full throttle for ~6 seconds

The engine in the devel is built like a dragster engine...it would probably fall apart after one lap at full power. It's designed to be at full throttle for a few seconds and thats it. Not to sit at top speed for 24 hours like the engine in a Bugatti and not break a sweat while doing it.

@@justarandomguy1794 I think Supercar Blonde drove the car sometime ago but i think it was only at 30 mph or somewhere around that. There was another video of the car driving but again it was driven at a low speed. The car likley isn't ready for a top speed aggressive run yet. I'm still hoping to see a top speed run from this car and some aggressive laps around a track to see what the complete car can do. Hopefully this car isn't fake. It's such an interesting concept.
@@nassarhill3521 True, but supercarblondie drove a version, which got a chevy v8. It didnt had the quad turbo v16. Devel themself said they have troubles cooling the engine, finding a suitable transmission and some tires which could hold the power without having to change them all 2 Miles. It would surely be a crazy car but there are still some major things missing. Lets wait…

Problem with 5000 hp is that they will never make it work on road. The car tires would not take it for a starter. Fuel cars have similar power and they special tires. It is a must, otherwise the tires get torn apart. Engineering-wise it's never gonna function as a road car, or even as a circuit race car. This is more likely marketing grab for the rich kids.

Making an engine capable of producing 5000bhp is one thing, but matching that engine to a gearbox, chassis and tyres capable of handling that power is an entirely different proposition.
