Never would have thought to put them in the dishwasher! Brilliant!
It is so much easier to clean that way! But I prefer to take fondant off prior to that - do not want to clog my dishwasher drain

Thank you Violette!
Beautiful love it...😍
Thank you! 😊 Hope this helps)
Thanks very much.
Very helpful thank you. What do you as a glue to attach fondant onto dummies?
I use watered down piping gel. I find that crisco goes bad too fast and smells horribly.
@@floreacakes thank you very much. 😀
Perfect

Hey - do you sell those white cake topper flowers?
No, but I teach how to make them! Check out my Wafer Paper Academy: astashkinacakes.com/wafer-paper-academy
What else can be used in place of fondant to cover dummy cakes so that they can last fpr years
I use fondant on my cakes and they can be kept for years easily
@@floreacakes but in humid climate of India they become very sticky..what to do thn? Even adding tylose doesn't help. Pls guide
@@AnilKumar-cp6qk For high humidity, I'd suggest you look into cocoa butter based fondants, such as satin ice tropical fondant or Saracino Pasta Top
@@floreacakes thank u
Why is the fondant is so hard n I don’t have a dishwasher
Please how can I get dummies?
What will they eat in the cake since it's made of dummy?
I buy mine from Dallas Foam or Amazon
😎 ❤
Can I use a oven if I don’t have a microwave
No, you cant. It will melt your styrofoam. You can just soak cake dummies in warm water and clean them that way.
I always cringe when I see cake dummies as they are so bad for the environment - but this is an amazing way to reuse them without contributing to landfills!
I can't stand that too! I use my cake dummies consistently and take old cake dummies from my cake friends to reuse for many-many years.
Fondant will get very sticky during rainy season when humidity is high..what else can be used in place of fondant
What if we dont have a dishwasher
Just wash it in a sink...
I use pieces of wood instead of foam. And clay instead of fondant. Ever tried?
No, never. What type of clay are you using?
@@floreacakes air dry clay! And I paint it if the design requires color. I make display cakes. Can't eat any of them haha. So nothing is wasted.
@@AntoniaSattler-o7f That's interesting! I'll look into that
