I'd say around 17-18, as Christians we are called to serve and multiply, so safely we should be dating to find a life long partner. I'm an 18 year old boy, I've never been in a relationship before at all, and I've never had any stress in taking care of anyone else, and my heart isn't split up between several people due to past issues. It's easy to give your heart to someone when you're young, and loose sight of how marriage should work. Blessings to y'all, God bless

London is beautiful and it could be a challenge keeping the boys away. I say postpone dating as long as possible. Male friends can call and talk 15-16 years old no alone time or dates. Group dating at 16-17 years old. Be strict about dating Christian boys only. Values are very important and must align with your beliefs. My daughter had male friends at church and private church school, but no dating except with friends at youth church events. At 25 years old she married a friend from church after being friends and dating for 7 years. They just celebrated their 20th anniversary declaring that they are both married to their best friend. Great examples for their kids. ❤
There is no magic age because people mature differently. A parent definitely knows when their child is ready, and a child needs to trust that a parent is looking out for their best interest.
I know God is Sovereign, and there is nothing I can give him that doesn't already belong to him. One of my favorite verses is Luke 17:10 We are unprofitable servants. Sermon on the mount Blessed is the poor in Spirit (That's me) Blessed is the pure in heart. Pure is God's will, and unpure is to not do God's will. I know I can't work my way to heaven. Working my salvation through fear and trembling isn't from the fear of hell, but because I know who God is, and I have been given a desire to be like Khalib was, wholly for God. I'm a grown man and my mom says the ten commandments are not relevant. I told her they show us how low we sink but have no power to save us, but I have come to the conclusion. There is doing things that are not the will of God. Like what was said in the podcast that Jesus died for, we shouldn't want anything to do with those things. Thanks for sharing

Courtship dating with parents at 16 than dating at 17 would be ok. I've seen more courtship with parents these days then back in the 80's. I started dating at 20 cause church, college and work keep me focused and grounded.
My oldest daughter is 20 a junior at maranatha bible college and is single! She is focused on completing college. If God chooses to send a young man into her life and he is willing to call me and video chat about his interest in dating to marry her then we will see where that goes! I’ve raised her to be independent first! I want her to be able to fully support herself with a good career path in the event of her being alone at a later time! That said my plans or hers and gods road map for her are totally different plans! Gods trumps all our plans !

I fully agree! Meeting the parents is definitely a must as at that age they are also very impressionable! The prospective dates parents must hold the beliefs and expectations of their young adult and their behavior. If the prospective dates is not willing to be patient and take things slow in order to facilitate meeting parents and supervision on first few encounters then it only speaks to their true intentions!
