    For the daughter with the verbally abusive Dad. I love Matthew 15: 17-19. Words you speak, do matter, and like Granger & Amber have reminded us, words spoken point to a direction of life or death.

    Hi Granger and Pastor Marshall!!! Wow, I love how you answered the question of basically any sin and not just the sin asked about. A sin is a sin and that applies to all of us. ❤

    I fought porn for 20 years! Occasionally would try to quit but couldn't. The fact that he told you he struggles with porn is important. I think he's reaching but doesn't know how to get out of it! Indeed, Keep praying!
    The Lord took my addiction away in one night! Thank you Jesus!

    Good Morning Granger and Pastor Marshall! Thank you for another great podcast, full of wisdom and great insight. Just wanted to say I appreciate the time and care you take with each person. You treat every question like it’s the most important question and really try to give your best overall answer. It’s a lot of fun to watch/listen to your podcast, always learning something new and never leave disappointed. In fact I often leave with something to think about and possibly some homework 😂. You inspire me to grow closer in my walk with Jesus ❤

      @@bowed305 Teachers in the Body of Christ are to speak with authority. You see my authority as a lack of humility because I come with the same confidence with the Word of God the men in the video above have with refuting them on homosexuality and the Bible, a confidence that you probably never saw before. When I debate those who believe like you do who are in ministry? Those like you WANT to see it as me speaking with a confidence you think I shouldn't have with the Bible. When those like the ones above debate back? You see it as them debating me with a confidence you think they should have on what you already believe on Homosexuality from the Bible. These same people like yourself calling me out for lack of humility, maybe arrogance, even self-righteousness, because I say you can be a Born-Again Believer and in a gay relationship? Are the same people who would NEVER say this to those who say they are going to Hell for being in a gay relationship. I'm not the Pharisee here with saying they're excluded from the Kingdom because they're gay, am I?
      You only give these labels to me because you don't like what I say.

    I have a question. My bf of 6 years was married for 30 years. We are all good friends. We keep the family traditions going for the kids and Grandkids. ❤ Well I will name her Rose, and she was just diagnosed will untreatable Cancer. 😢. How do I do my best be be there for everyone?

    • @bowed305
      @bowed305 9 месяцев назад +1

      You didn't say who Rose was in the family. Is this the former wife? A daughter? A granddaughter? Either way, the answer to your question is in your question. Be there for them. Be there to listen. Be there to care for them in ways they need. Realize that you can't fix this, but you can be a support through this. The number one thing you can do is pray for them, and let them know often that you have prayed to God specifically for them as they travel this rocky part of their journey.

      @@kellyrosenthal2821 With it being the former wife, you have an incredible opportunity to show the love of God through all of this. You do what you can to be there for her and care for her. You allow and encourage your husband to be there for her and care for her without any jealousy or resentment, the same for the children to be there and care for there mother and the grandchildren to be there and care for their grandmother. Hold them when they need holding. Feed them when they need to be fed. Give them space when they need time alone to process what's happening. It also doesn't hurt to have a sit down conversation with as many of them as possible and ask them how you can best help them, but don't necessarily wait for that. Sometimes we don't really know what we need when we're going through something like this. In the end, love them. How you walk with them through this will set the tone for the rest of your time with them on the other side of this. Again, the most important thing to do is to pray to God for wisdom for you, peace and comfort for her, and courage and strength for them. May God bless you all through this and the days beyond.
