Once a guy shows he may not care if he loses me - it becomes very easy to play indifferent and I like to see him squirm when I do it. I don't do it too often but soon as I do it has him texting at 2am asking if everything is okay. It really makes him uncomfortable.

    • @AntonioBorrello
      @AntonioBorrello  2 года назад

      Hello @branighabrewer2650,
Thank you for watching and engaging with my video! It's great to hear that you've had success with playing indifferent in your relationship. It's important to remember, however, that while this approach can be effective in the short term, it may not be sustainable in the long run. If your partner is feeling uncomfortable every time you do it, it could lead to further issues down the line.... hopefully you wont always have to remind him of your value and importance in his life.

Thanks for the tips. What you say makes sense. I do need to be more indifferent and work on myself more. Sometimes we think, why do I need to put any effort in working on myself when I already have someone so I don't need to impress anyone. Actually, we need to impress our partner, especially when the relationship is new and even when it's not so they want to keep us.

      Hi @sugarplumber1,
Depending on the dynamics of your relationship, this can be an effective approach - however, it may require some trial and error to get right. Yes. He tells me I am being dramatic. He was raised by a narcissistic mother and has some of those qualities. He thinks there is nothing wrong with looking at other woman because you should admire beautiful things… acts like woman are equivalent to butterflies. ( he never did this before) He has a single friend from high school and they send pictures of woman back and forth. I told him that it makes me feel little and it’s disrespectful. He changed his password ( we always were able to get on each other’s phones for 32 years) and told me I brought it on myself by snooping. I also caught him bad mouthing me to another woman - which he marginally agreed it was wrong to be talking to her. He never brings me flowers unless it’s Valentine’s Day … he knows I would love them. Over a year ago I lost weight … I weigh what I did when we were newly weds - I look very good for my age. I just don’t think he realizes what he has in me.

Honestly this is toxic and manipulative. If a woman isn’t expressing how she feels, is acting indifferent, and is also actively trying to be willing to walk away, she just created her own exit from the relationship.
I’ve had exes use this type of game playing and it only creates turmoil. It’s fake behavior and it’s asking for trouble.
My advice would be don’t ever consider taking this advice if you ever want a relationship to work. (All except the third one.)

    • @AntonioBorrello

      Hi @michaeljpendergrass1,
i want to sincerely thank you for watching and for your comment. I especially appreciate your honesty because you bring up some excellent points that I may not have emphasized as well as I should have... I hope I can address them here.
First, I agree that communication and transparency are key in building healthy relationships, and that suppressing or hiding one's feelings is likely to create more problems than it solves. This video picks ups after that has taken place.. when a woman has been too good... given too much and has expressed her concerns multiple times without any resolution. These tips are not intended to manipulate anyone. Instead, they are a reminder for women to be assertive and independent when they might have been over invested and taken for granted. Ideally, it is best to be yourself and have everything work out naturally.
I would love if you continued to watch and share your perspectives. Looking forward to chatting with you.

Thank you so much for reaching out and engaging with our community! It sounds like you're in a difficult situation at the moment. In addition to the tips in the video, here are some potential solutions to make your partner worry that they may lose you:
First.. make sure you have had an honest conversation with your partner about how you feel. Make it clear that if action is not taken to address the issue, then there may be consequences. if that has happened without any improvement, then continue with the tips in the video. also,
take some time away from your partner and focus on self-care. This could involve going out on your own or scheduling more activities that make you happy outside of your relationship.

I don't know why men always take me/women for granted. Live is not for granted, so I don't take nice men for granted. I am dating someone who takes me for granted. I told him that I don't need a man to take care of me, I have a good life and a good job, so I can take care of myself, also financially. I only looking for men who gives me love, affection and intimicy. I don't settle for less. I hope that your tips will work out well. With this man or another one. Thank you Dr. Antonio Borrello.

Thank you for watching my video and reaching out with your question. It's great to hear that you're looking for a partner who is loving and supportive, and that you won't settle for anything less. Unfortunately, not all men are respectful of the women in their lives. While it may be difficult to accept, it's important to remember that this is not going to change unless individuals take a stand and demand respect from their partners. Your courage in setting boundaries and speaking up about what you need should be commended - unfortunately, this doesn't always lead to the desired outcome. In any case, I'm sure that by continuing to stay true to your values, you will find someone who appreciates and respects you as an equal partner. please keep in touch! antonio

What about he doesn’t see my value at all and he was clear in his words that he’s just for fun and has been forced to leave him alone. Man are very clear and honest and what they are looking for. Even a woman who people see as a (soft) and weak has a little bit of self respect and self esteem and understands what is the place in someone’s life if the woman doesn’t get it at the beginning she will get it at the end. Man are extremely smart playing their cards. This gives the opportunity to meet someone else who is not in this state in life and helps a woman to move on for good if he doesn’t care another man will do and is not like he was not valuable for her is self respect and self worth. Also women get tired of being treated as garbage or rugs is not complicated

@@AntonioBorrello my opinion: when people ignore you it works. You start running after them. But it only works for a short time at the beginning of the story. After a certain point it starts working against them. You get bored and eventually uninterested in them. The interest has to be genuine and mutual, things must flow naturally. If you have to "trick" or "force" people to love you there's no point! Who wants this kind of people in their lives? What for? They've never been there for you neither will they ever be. So, the best thing you can do is not to play this game, keep your distance, pull yourself together and move on. It takes some time but the more you practice it the faster you see the signs, accept the facts and the sooner you start recovering

Hi! So I used to see this guy (which has two divorces), he tried to impose his own terms (dating other women in the same time - he said it as if it was a temporary early stage thing), but I didn't agree, told him to do his thing and return when he finishes if he still wants me - maybe I will still be available (or not). After a few weeks he wrote to me saying he misses the good times we had together (but not the fights - we had a few while I expressed my opinion). From my point a view, it was just a technique to gaslight and try do do it his way again - but I responded with my clear standards again. Now he ghosts me :)) What should I do in case he returns again? We had some chemistry, he is smart and makes me laugh, but other then that, I don't know him that well. It’s so hard for me to act indifferent. I had a bilateral mastectomy an Im so insecure. He’s the only man I been with after my kids father left me when I was diagnosed. He’s been great he still texts me but now acting distant. Idk I’m feeling hurt and insecure 😕

      Hi @kathyhernandez6733,
Hi there, thank you so much for watching and sharing your thoughts with me. I'm sorry to hear that you're going through a difficult time with the man you've been seeing. It sounds like you've experienced a lot of hurt and insecurity, and it's completely understandable to feel this way.
I can relate to feeling insecure in a relationship and wanting to act indifferent to remind him of your value in his life. do you feel like he's taking you for granted or taking advantage of you in some way? Communication is key in any relationship and it may be helpful to have an open and honest conversation with this person about what you're feeling.
Can you share more about the current situation and what led to this distant behavior from him? I'm here to listen and support you. antonio

This is Excellent Advice. It goes well above all the other dating advice Coaches that I have heard prior.
I ended up walking away from a long term non-committal relationship and let him finally find out what losing me was really like. He married and quickly divorced the woman he had left me for.
We are together now but I really feel I could still use your helpful advice. Thank you so much for the work you are sharing. 🥰

I love the tipps you offer! I actually myself would never wanna try step 2, because i know my bf. If someone is indifferent and he thinks he isnt liked anymore he would accept that fact and move on. I think that works best on guys with lower self esteem :)

      Hi @hanna96hoppe,
Thank you so much for your kind words! It sounds like you understand the concept behind step 2, and I appreciate your insight. That said, it's important to note that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to relationships. Everyone's circumstances are different, and each person deals with their own struggles in different ways. I look forward to chatting with you.

What if he is ghosting and not reaching out? I stopped reaching out 46 days ago. He just disappeared. So I will be kind but indifferent if he ever comes back around? I guess this only works if they still care.

      Hello @cindygould5892,
Thank you for watching and for leaving your comment. I'm sorry to hear that you are going through a difficult situation. It can be challenging to navigate when we have feelings for someone else, but it's important to trust our instincts and listen to what our heart is telling us. if you can see a future with the person you are currently with, and if they are willing to make changes to improve the relationship perhaps that is the way to go. I hope that you can find a way to make a decision that feels true to you and that you are happy with in the end. Thank you for engaging with our community. antonio
