Thanks Paul. The interesting part is that you can show the reverse relationship on the dealer page with the same field when choosing the "invert direction" option. realy great!
Wow this video allowed me to actually use ACF/Dynamic Content the way I wanted. ACF and Dynamic Widgets are not very intuitive to use when it comes to relationships. At least I needed some visualization and step by step example, to make it work. After days of frustrating fiddling around this video simply showed everything step by step. Thank you so much.

Hi Paul I’ve just noticed an omission. When you’re in the relationship field group you go off to show how the post type and taxonomy filters work within the vehicle post but you don’t return to the relationship field and scroll down to the rules where you have set ‘show this field group if post type is equal to vehicles’. I had to whizz through it a few times and pause it in just the right spot to be able to see what you’d entered.

Thanks Paul I have one question: With ACF Pro (or other plugins) is it possible to have an "automatic relationship" based on a common taxonomy between 2 Custom Post Types instead of setting them up manually? (e.g., Doctors and Hospitals are CPTs that share a "location" Taxonomy. If I click on an Hospital can I automatically show a list of Doctors that are on that location?)

Another great one Paul! Thanks you! I’d love to see a slight alteration of this post where dealerships could create a profile and then post all their vehicles. Then, you could have a Dealership Page with a listing of all the vehicles they’ve posted right on that page. Thoughts?
I can't see why that couldn't be achieved. I can't see why you couldn't add additional custom fields to a user to flesh out the business details and that would link the user to the custom post type for vehicles. This would allow for an easy way to either use WordPress or build out a custom user dashboard like covered in the video I released recently.
@@WPTuts I watched the other video you released several times. I loved it! So helpful. Which would you recommend for relationships and repeaters (edit: and custom post templates)? Thanks and great video as usual edit: I'd like to be able to display fields from the relationship posts easily. I'm using Dynamic right now, however it requires a bit of work with the text editor to be able to display multiple fields from the relationship post into the parent post template. Hey Paul, great video as usual...! One thing I've not found in a relationship method is being able to order the outputted relationship posts ie. if you had 5 dealerships and you wanted to output them in alphabetical order instead of the order you added them to the parent. Thanks for the all your very clear and informative videos. I have learned so much from watching them. In this one you use an Elementor vidget called ACF relationsships. I don't have that one in my Elementor Pro installation. Where can I find it?
Sorry, got it now (Dynamic Content for Elementor:)
@@SigfusBjarnason where did you find the widget? I have both Pro versions of Elementor and ACF but dn't seem to be able to find it. Thanks so much

@@jdelgadoesteban Sorry, I can't recall where I found it and I'm not using Elementer Pro anymore so I can't check it

Can we use anywhere elementor instead of dynamic content?
Nice tutorial!!
Does anyone know how I can list posts from a relationship using these plugins?
Ex: Agencies have products
Products belong to an agency
I need to list within the agency templeate, products related only to that agency
As I see, to get ACF Relationship widget we need to buy Dynamic Content
for Elementor and ACF Pro?
Yes, that's what I got from this.
anyone found simpler solution to this? Thanks for the video though
This is exactly my question!
I saw a plugin called CPT Options Page...what does that do exactly?
Allows you to integrate an Options page into your WordPress install and target it through ACF's Options tools.
Think of an Options page as a way to create global options for a website (site title, logo, etc.)
hi thanks for all great tips :) i have a q: how can i creat custom field and cpt ui but without the customers will see the plugin in their site even when they are set to manager users- is there a way to build a site with this plugins without them see the plugins? thanks
Take a look at GenerateWP.com, that should help. 🤘
So you mention ACF pro in the video, but I don't see anything you're doing with ACF that requires the pro version of ACF. Can you confirm that?
Relationships are only available in ACF Pro I'm afraid.
I cant choose the ACF Relationship Element in Elementor to place the dynamic section... do you know why ?
Do you have Dynamic Content for Elementor installed? If not, you won't be able to work with relationships in Elementor Pro alone.
I have the same problem, have you found a solution yet?
Hi, I am trying to follow your tutorial step by step but I cannot find the ACF relationship Widget in my elementor like in your screen. Is there anything I need to install first to make it show up? My elementor is already a Pro version and my ACF is the free version. Appreciate the help. thanks
Should I upgrade to ACF pro?
I just upgraded to Pro but the widget still won't show up in my elementor :(
@@michelleshang6230 You need this: www.dynamic.ooo/widget/acf-relationship/

you saved me!!
hello
What happens to posts that their Relationship Fields is empty?
You'd have an empty section in your template but you could easily use a plugin like dynamic conditions to hide it when empty.
Hi Paul. Do you ever find that Dynamic Content for Elementor causes performance issues on your sites? I really like the functionality provided by the plugin a lot. I particularly like the token system, relationship fields, and the dynamic posts widget. But I noticed that DCE loads all its css and js on every page, and there just seems to be some issues.
can that be done with jet eng ?
Yes
can i find widget like Dynamic Content for Elementor for free ?
I'm afraid not. DCfE is a very powerful suite of tools and you're not going to get that for free I'm afraid.
WPTuts can i get any plugin that can give the relationship option for free ?
@@gabiben4835 Advanced Post Queries for Elementor may serve your needs. It mainly works with the Elementor Pro posts widget. There's limitations, namely you can only display default WordPress Post Meta. If you have Elementor Extras, you can do post relationships for any custom post type template.
@@johnboland9229 I have extras but haven’t seen this functionality, could you explain further? Trying to link courses to programmes and so far have been creating templates with posts extra widget and filtering to display what I need but it’s doesn’t change depending on the post so doesn’t really work

Hello, I was able to make a relationship between User and CPT in a bidirectional way but I can't show this relationship in the front end. Would you know how to do it?
