Elder Abuse, Exploitation, and Neglect Webinar June 11th, 2020

Each year in the United States, an estimated 5 million older adults experience elder abuse, exploitation, or neglect. For every case of elder abuse that is reported, approximately 23.5 cases go unreported. This webinar will provide an overview of the risk factors and warning signs associated with elder abuse, as well as recommendations for social workers and medical professionals on how to report concerns. Initiatives and programs to help older people who are abused will also be discussed.
