I just picked the game up on Friday, so I didn't even realize that this was a bug. I thought it was a normal part of the game to lose people on expeditions. Good to know
I am challenging the refugee survivor mode with zero deaths and I am nearly tortured by this BUG to death. But I finally figured out the mechanism of this BUG. The reason for it is that if your outpost characters have not left the city, and you set up an outpost on the big map, the characters who are still in the city will die immediately. It usually happens on the refugee map because the outpost in the upper right corner of the refugee map is too close to the city, only six hours away, but it can also happen on other maps for various reasons, such as the road you made is too far away, and the citizens are building etc. The solution to this BUG is very simple, you just need to wait, wait for a few more hours of game time, wait until all the outposts have left the city and then click to establish an outpost to avoid death. Fxxk this bug
I played this war of mine but frostpunk is a crap. I spend hours of gameplay and my outpost didnt brint my resources. I wont spend any dime with 11bit never again.
Good to know. I haven't played Frostpunk much since I bought their season pass a couple months back.

It is not a bug - it is anticheese mechanic to wait for your resources in outpost.
