I was 6 or 7 when I first saw this show and my first thought was “that’s cool. I didn’t know two boys could date” as a response to Eric and Jack. I don’t remember what episode it was exactly, but does it matter? Lol
I find it very annoying when shows give hints like these that the characters might be queer but in the end go with them being straight. And then the people who thought there was a chance that they were infact queer get labelled as toxic. The hints were obviously given on purpose but of course they can't have a queer main character because that would be too much.

Even when I was like 10 watching this show when it originally aired I thought there were a lot of gay sexual overtones. The writers must have really wanted to push it there in the worst way especially once Jack was introduced.
