honestly i didnt think i was gonna enjoy this series due to never playing the original crash, but damn 3 episodes in still fresh and looks like a hell of a lot of fun ! i really wanna play this remake... or just go out and get the original lol cant wait for part 4 and more

I was literally clenching my ass the entire time while watching him do "Toxic Waste" because I was hoping he'd get the Blue Gem and realize that dying in Bonus Stages doesn't count, etc.; it would've thrown him through a loop. Alas, he died...

When he got through it, I was like "Oh, good, he did it!" and I was super proud of him... Then I remembered Slippery Climb was next and I was like, "Oh yeah..." Then I remembered Lights Out was next. You can kind of figure out my reaction afterwards.
What's good about this new version is that you don't have to complete each level without dying to get all the gems. You used to have to finish every level without dying because the boxes would respawn when you died in the original.
probably already learned this: but the reason why the girl tokens show up so much, is cause in the original game, completing the bonus stages was basically the only method of saving.
Tiny Tiger doesn't appear until the second game. And the bridge levels you can jump on the ropes on either side if you want to do them easily, or at least easy if you can land on it constantly. Also I really hope Micheal does the 'DLC' level Stormy Ascent, you know the level from the original game that was removed just before release because the developers thought it was too hard. On the plus side at least it isn't a special gem level just a clear so you can die all you want unless you are doing the time trial for the level.

For his own personal safety, I think it's a very good thing that Micheal believes that dying on the bonus level counts as a real death.
