    This is the content that's needed. No BS, straight knowledge, bend the rules if you want, but here's the risks. Love it. I have been a cognito customer since 07, and will continue to buy your products with people like this behind them.

    You have to cut the service perch/bump stop with this kit. That’s because it has the flat upper control arms. Cognito also makes a tubular upper control arm that doesn’t look as nice but also doesn’t require you to cut up the truck. This way you can go back to stock if you wanted without having to weld parts back on.

    Being honest here... all that for 2 3/4" lift and ride quality? If you didn't get the Z71 shock package... I might see this. But for larger aftermarket tires I don't see it. I have a 22 LTZ and for 35's on 20 factory rims with zero issues.

      I have a 21 LT with Z71 shock package, and I want to do leveling kit and run 35-12.50 R20's on my 20" stock wheels. Is this what you are running?

    • @AXAR4
      @AXAR4 11 месяцев назад +1

      @michusb930 from what I've read I think the 12.5's might rub the control arm if you keep the factory offset. 295's are probably the course to go which gets you a taller tire than the 35x12.5

      The same sag on what you normally tow will happen since the rear has not been changed. The only way to keep the rear from squating if it does when towing is airbags, or adding a leaf spring.

      Go with a 35 or even 37. Stock tire size is 34.1.
      when i brought my 3500hd home i rolled a mounted 35 inch tire up to my stock tire and i was blown away at the fact there was basically no difference in height.
      I am waiting on a 7 inch kit but i am running 37x12.50 with no leveling kit, just turned up torsion keys. so 37s will fit on this kit. if you have to trim itll be super minor.
