Coach Suellio, I installed 2wks ago, frustrated myself for the first week and broke through about 5 days ago. Just started feeling it come together. Today I put up a 1:44:752 today at Okayama on my 4th lap of a knock down drag out race. Every person was sub 1:48s the whole race at least 6 of us. Downshifting to 2cd from 4th trailbreaking into the Apex of a turn and seeing my session best numbers light up green on my time and that feeling when I KNOW the breaking zone, pressure timing all of it has lined up. I'm on the ass of the guy in front of me, and someone is on my ass. We're all keeping each other honest. I can't hear, see, or notice anything around me in this moment. The house could be burning down around me and none of it matters. Racing is my newest love. IT OWNS ALL MY FREE TIME AND MONEY now. I got the bug bad. Damn I wish It wouldn't have taken me this long to discover this!! Thank you for all the uploads. I've been digging down through you and Coach Dave's entire catalog. When I'm not driving I'm watching iracing vids.
Got mine today pedals and steering wheel,base and a desk clamp total cost shipping VAT to the UK £1212.48 total,took 4 days to ship from the Netherlands fantastic service and 2 boxes arrived undamaged be warned the boxes are massive,can't say much at the moment as not opened yet,i want to wait till Xmas to open the boxes but it's proving hard so far today. I am moving from my very old Driving Force GT it's still like new and bullet proof and yes it's plastic but i bought this G Pro because it's Logitech's and i know it will support many future games and games support it too. That's important to me.
I hope you can wait so long..it will be an amazing christmas unwrapping. The packaging was just as impressive as the wheel itself. I have it for a few days now (came from an old Fanatec GT3RS wheel) and driving with it is such a joy.
I bought a G923 last year and apart from the plasticky rattle that it often makes, I'm really enjoying it. I would love to see how the G Pro compares, especially when driving in Gran Turismo 7. Its way out of my price range though, unfortunately. 👍
I wonder if the Pedals are compatible with the G920 wheel? I’m not at the point where having Direct Drive would really benefit me but my G920 pedals are starting to bug out

Great review and comparison between the G29 and G Pro. What cockpit are you using? Did you upgrade the brakes on the G29 with a truebrake or load cell kit?
I used a g27 for 7 years, it had many shortcomings some of them I fix it using mods I made (hydraulic brake), other simply where unfixable (center FFB dead zone); but for the price I paid for wheel, base, pedals and shifter it was well worth it ($200 USD). I never see the newer logitech wheels as an upgrade option because was the same underlying Tech. I end up buying this year a fanatec GT DD PRO; it cover all fronts PC, PS, XBOX compatibility; the combo brings the base, the wheel and two pedals, lacking one pedal and shifter for 699USD. Add the LC brake for $139USD, add and aditional wheel for $199USD, add an aditional 149USD for a hub for a round wheel that I wanted, and the corresponding mod for a custom made PSU to unlock 8nm and some elastomers and springs for the brake pedal for $50USD... That's $1236USD for a: 8nm DD compatible with PC, PS, XBOX, three different style steering wheels, fully customizable pedals with load cell for less money for the current Logitech offering. The product looks good, but the price point to totally off, it should be in the $500USD ~ $700USD range for base, steering wheel and pedals including LC, that way it can be considered a DD alternative to Fanatec, Simlab or Moza; but as it is is not an option for someone looking at an upgrade; and I live in Colombia and know hoy expensive it can be to get sim racing gear to my country.
I used a G29 for many years and have driven with multiple Fanatec bases on PC and PS. Nothing has been as plug&play or had the detail and granularity that True Force provides in this price range unless it was some hodge podge of parts and 3rd party stuff running on an existing gaming PC. I bought the G Pro at launch and was anticipating thinking it was overpriced too, but it's really not. At least not by as much as you're implying. I would say it should be around $1000-$1100 USD for base and pedals. But it's certainly worth more than $500-700. My takeaway: it's equal to or better than the GT DD PRO, but with True Force which works on consoles so you don't need a high end gaming PC and 3rd party FFB software to enjoy that level of detail. Yeah you can get a DD/load cell setup for less with similar stats on paper, but without True Force (or similar API) it's an apples to oranges comparison.
I've got the DD Pro (8nm) with Loadcell pedals, and also the G Pro. IMO the quality of the Logitech is way superior (plastic housing is great quality, and the internals are all metal). The QR1 of the Fanatec is a joke, and the thing reeks of shortcuts in quality. The biggest difference, though, is the implementation of TrueForce. Unless you've actually experienced what it brings to the driving experience it's hard to convey. Nobody could accuse me of being a fanboi of either manufacturer, as I own both wheels.

My disability has made it impossible to save for one, but i want to upgrade to a load cell as soon as i can and ibwas originally thinking the sprints would be the best option to save for, but now im wondering of the logitech would be better. I want it to be my forever pedals. Im trying to upgrade from the thrustmaster tmx pedals LOL pretty awful pedals..

I just got mine and and a 34" ultra wide and wow!!! just wow!!!! different day is right.....I usually don't run in cockpit mode but now I don't do anything else!
A bit late, I know, but yes, you can. The Drive Hub adapter from Collective Minds lists compatibility with a large number of shifters (but not all) with the G Pro base. I bought a Moza HGP shifter for my G Pro thinking it was compatible, but no. The Fanatec and Thrustmaster, for instance, but several others, too.

Hey Suellio what you say on your video is not correct… the heusinkveld sprints have a 120kg load cell (65kg on pedal face) while the Logitech have a 100kg load cell so they are weaker than the sprints. I don’t think this is a product suited for advanced racers. At least they are way less flexible than other pedals on the market.
@@SuellioAlmeida I didn’t try the Logitech but I’ve sold the sprints because I maxed them out. So on the paper they should be weaker, I suppose Logitech did a better job with the elastomers then.
@@GiuseppeMiloany he sprint bought in the last year come with updated elastomers, or you can buy them to update the old ones. Feel is closer to the ultimates now.

What a joke. I'm seriously doubting you actually own one. Most actual owners have nothing but praise for it, and their customer service is known. Fanatec are known to be a basket case, and I own both.
Logitech is nice. Don’t get me wrong. But they are absolutely nowhere near the “top” of the sim racing space with this setup. Again, it’s nice. But you cannot even begin to compare them to Moza, Fanatec, Simucube, or any other manufacturer of true high end sim gear. While 11nm is surely enough for most people, and 100lb load cell is great, Logitech isn’t even close to being able to offer the variety and modularity on their ecosystem as any of the other brands I’ve mentioned. The reason for that is as you have said, exactly: they are VERY late to the party, despite being one of the pioneers in the entry level, accessible sim gear space form years past. If they want to compete they will need to add numerous wheels, accessories, customizations and most of all modularity to their gear. Otherwise they cannot even hope to compete in the pro sim racing space. That said, I actually don’t think it’s their intention, and as they have a decent grasp on the accessible, well priced entry level consumer market, that is what I feel they should continue to focus on.

That doesn’t mean it’s bad, but they’re also not offering all the things that make other wheel bases awesome, like the huge eco system of accessories and runs available with other manufacturers. While I agree that they still have a chance to claw their way close to the top, the reputation of other manufacturers has really stifled Logitech’s ability to compete in the pro market and I think they’d do better in their consumer market, trying to push their mainstream products to the masses (ie the average racing game casual player) as they have in the past.
SimRacing 604 (amongst others) said its the best wheel in his collection, and he has many. The ecosystem certainly is worthy of criticism, but the wheel and base are exceptional.

I compared both pedals and the logitech is much harder than maxed out sprints

The G Pro wheel is garbage. Customer service hasn’t helped me. Very expensive wheel for it to be so unreliable. I’m scared to race online with it.
