Hello, the ChromaLuxe Metal Photo Panels are 0.045" / 1.14mm thick. www.itsupplies.com/chromaluxe-metal-photo-panels?pagenumber=2&viewmode=grid&orderby=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.itsupplies.com%2Fchromaluxe-metal-photo-panels%3Forderby%3D0&pagesize=32
Hello @rodneymaker6689, Unisub/Chromaluxe has several hanging options available. We also have customers that use strong double-sided tape or glue to make their own cleat hanging system.
The Epson SureColor F6270 should be capable of this, it's one generation older than the printer we're using in this video and involves the same dye-sublimation process.
Thank you. I create custom art. In the past, I shopped it out to print on aluminum. I recently got a smaller dye sublimation printer and a press, and have been mucking around with dialing in the steps. This video was huge help. Currently I'm limited to 15 x 15 (the size of my press). Any pointers on larger format printers and presses? I saw you're using the F570, which uses a roll. What about larger format presses?
Hi John. We sell several brands of heat presses. For "large format" flat presses for metal we recommend the air automated versions from Geo Knight. There are several size options. Give us a call at 1-800-771-9665 and we can walk through the options.
Hi Carol Rosa, we're so sorry we missed your comment. It may be an antivirus that makes it disappear. Try this, create a new quickset. Close Epson Edge and restart your printer/computer. Then reopen to see if it solved the problem. You can also try uninstalling your software and then reinstalling it to see if it fixed the error. I would also check Epson's site to see if they have a software update. If it is still not saving, contact Epson dedicated support line for SureColor users (562-276-1305) to resolve this issue.
Hello, Printing to Metal can be done on the HP R-Series Latex Flatbeds but cannot be printed on the HP 300 series or 700/800 series roll to roll latex printers as these do not accept rigid boards, only rolls of material. Dye Sublimation is a specific application and process with specific inks and specially coated substrates meant for dye sublimation inks. Please reach out if you'd like to have a conversation about your application ideas. Email in at info@itsupplies.com or call us at 800-771-9665 and ask for a commercial sales rep.
Thank you for your question, TJ. The printer that is being used in this video is the EPSON SureColor F6370 along with the EPSON Edge Software. This software comes with the printer. EPSON just recently released the F6470 which is the newest generation of dye sublimation printers from EPSON with the option of 4 or 6 colors. Please reach out to an IT Supplies Textile rep for any addition questions. We are here to help!
Hi John, we would recommend the Epson F570 to you. You can use sheets or roll fed media that will give you the versatility you'll need in a printer for 13x19 prints. www.itsupplies.com/Epson-SureColor-F570-Pro-Dye-Sublimation-Printer-p/scf570pe.htm
You will want to size your image about 1/2" or more larger than what you are sublimating to so you have a bit of bleed. The metal looks to be a 10x12 in this video.
Hi Chris, thanks for your question. The metal & image can get scratch from normal ware and tear. Let us know if there are any additional questions we can answer :)
Hello, we are using Epson UltraChrome DS Multi-Purpose Transfer Paper. You can view these products on our website by following this link, www.itsupplies.com/Epson-DS-Transfer-Multi-Purpose-Paper-s/5665.htm
Hi Atul, you would not print stickers using the sublimation printers. You should look into a solvent/ latex printer. We work with customers in the U.S.
30 seconds? Frustrating as not 1 sublimation business is the same as the next. 30 sec is the lowest time I've heard and 110 seconds is the longest. Which one will be the best? Material is expensive
Hi Joyce, time, pressure, and temperature can vary. We always recommend testing when using a new product. For more assistance please give us a call and speak with one of our textile print specialists at 1-800-771-9665.
