  • Comparison of the Storm Summit versus the Storm Fate and Roto Grip Duo. I didn't pick the Fate and Duo because of their similarities to the Summit, but because of how different they are. The Fate and Duo are pretty popular balls here locally, but they are very different from the Summit.

What's your ball speed? Mine is slower end was told people with slow ball speeds cnar throw rhe summit looks pretty good i have about the same revs, maybe a little less

My ball speed typically runs between 16 and 16.5 off my hand, so not the measurement from the scoring system at the pins. That usually reads 1.5 to 2 mph slower.

And is that a weaker layout?

Yes that layout is on the weaker side. The 5 inch pin puts the core in a more stable position at release, so it will flare a little less. As you can see, I like 5 inch pin to pap measurements - all 3 of those balls are 5 inch pins. Since they’re all symmetric the second number means basically nothing, the third number, the pin buffer I usually keep around 2, but bumped it up to 2.5 on the Summit to slow the transition between the skid, hook, and roll phases.

@AlmostPerfectionWV I'm definitely going to try this layout. I have the fate as well. My ball does not stay on line like yours. Does that ball hooks so much for me? I think my Pso drilled it very aggressive

@@AlmostPerfectionWV and the fate is also a weaker layout as well?
