Hey guys, I think a cool idea for these top 50 would be to add the year they were released next to the publisher! This way we can see some of these older games compare to newer ones!
I’ve only recently started watching your channel and just been LOVING all your content. So now I’m runnin thru the archives! See ya in the comments 😏🫰🏼
Appreciate the b-roll. These lists are probably biggest views of the year for most channels so nice to see that you all put the effort to bring some pizzazz to the list. Was surprised numbsters didn’t crack Jaime’s top 50
All of these countdown videos need B-roll of the games, and you guys always do a great job of that. A lot of the audience may have never seen the games on the table before so the footage is awesome. Great work as always.
Jeff always bringing up these GMT games all the time, makes me want to start trying some! Solid list so far, looking forward to seeing what else makes the cut.
picked up Baseball Highlights w/all the expansions & the playmat off of ebay a few months ago and have been trying to get the wife to give it a chance. no luck yet😕
@Foster the Meeple ...At the 18:25 mark, Jeff comments about a few unbalanced factions in the game. In with the rules is a reference sheet that tells you how to fix the factions with the balance issues!! All you gotta do is completely read the rules!
Your personal interests and lived experiences have led you have different than tastes mine! How dare you! 😉 Gotta give 3 Ring Circus a try. I will play Baseball Highlights with ya Jeff. Love the small box card game love.
Scout is THE game to put in your jeans pocket, before you run out to visit friends or family who play cards or simple family games. I really like Startups, also by Oink Games, now that I've read the condensed rules on BGG, which fixed the mistakes we were making. It's not better than Scout, but it has some strategy to discover, which is very subtle, and changes from the beginning, middle, and end of each round.
I am so glad you are doing another top 50! I freaking love these videos lol and with the number of games you have actually played, this is a pretty exclusive list :) Castles of Burgundy will always be that game that I adore whole heartedly but the idea of getting it set up is enough to keep it in the box haha. Can't wait to see the next 10!
Great video! My fiance says "this is why I don't watch with you because I want ALL the games." She says your hair is super cute Jamie and Jeff is tripping me up wearing his hat forward.
Hi guys, love your list. Can't wait for next ten. My 50-41: 41 The Prodigals Club 42 Tobago 43 Mind MGMT: The Psychic Espionage “Game.” 44 Atlantis Rising (Second Edition) 45 Blood Rage 46 Terraforming Mars 47 The Pursuit of Happiness 48 Autobahn 49 Jamaica 50 The Networks
I started playing Sea Salt & Paper because of your recommendation and now I'm hooked. I'd love to try Hooky, but I doubt there would be many people around me that would play it.
Nice start to your top 50! I look forward to hearing the rest 😊 A few of these games are sitting on my SOS. I can't wait to get them played, Brian Boru in particular!
I am shocked by Jamie's list compared to yours, like ones I knew would be on your list like memoir 44 didn't make you list and it made Jamie's. That is so cool! It just goes to show you how many great games y'all are playing even compared to ones we know you love. I mean some really moved. Some of the games were totally flipped the way I thought. Great list as always! I really want 3 ring Circus.
A quick fun fact about Three Sisters: it is based on native culture and their agriculture. They would grow beans, squash and corn afther they ask to the "creator" for food since they could not grow on their land. The "creator" gave them those three plants. They would name this trio: The Three Sisters. :)
It was also a way to maximize the land. The corn would grow tall, with the beans growing up the cornstalks like a trellis. The squash would thrive on the ground between the stalks. They are also three different producers of the major elements needed for vegetative growth- the beans produce a lot of nitrogen, and the corn and squash produce lots of potassium and phosphorus. Another reason is as they grow, their roots inhabit three different depth zones. They are the epitome of synergy in agriculture. I didn’t know about the cultural reference but glad I learned that! Thank you so much!! ❤
I dont think ive played any from these lists. But own a couple that Im yet to play like Scout. Im def keen to learn more about 3 ring circus and 3 sisters and the salt and pepper game.
Loving your channel. Just accidentally discovered it when I was scrolling through the home page and wondered why Epic Lloyd was making videos about board games. I soon realised my mistake 😅
Yay I have been looking forward to this year's series! Definitely helps with the January blues. I am also recently new to Orleans and said the same whilst learning it - I think I'm going to love it and did. Such a good game! 😊
Some people like Invasion expansion as it’s co-op. I’m not a very co-op type of player, but I swear by Trade and Intrigue. It really improves in 3 major areas for me, the more variable events, the new deeds board and the trade cards.
I have watched pretty much all your videos and i have got a few games from recommendations and love them. I really want to try hooky, bottom of the 9th and sheepy time! You guys have great taste
Love these top games lists, and am looking forward to the rest of your top 50! Jeff, you are making me want to try one of these coin games one day, and Jamie so happy that you like Brian Both so much...great game.😃
I have YET to punch and get my Age to the Comics to the table! It looks so good but I just haven't had the time to learn it yet! happy to see it on this list!
Baseball Highlights 2045 is terrific, and I enjoy it at 1, 2 & 4 players. I upgraded my players to the batter and runner meeples for the extra thematic feel :) Age of Comics is a lot of fun. I need to give solo a try to get it to the table more often.
Another great video - thanks! I got Sea Salt and Paper because of hearing you talk about it - love it. Which expansion would you recommend for Tapestry? I just got it with the modified factions and I’m so excited to play after hearing you talk about it in this video and at other times. Thank you.
I’ve primarily only played base so I don’t have much insight to provide on the expansions unfortunately. We did very much enjoy Fantasies & Futures though! It adds some new factions.
Love the list! Can’t wait for the next vids. Y’all ever played World’s Fair 1893? I usually don’t like area control but this game is simple (I taught it to a non-gamer in less than 10 minutes) and it works so so well for 2 players.
Have you guys played Ierusalem from Devir? Great game as well. And Jeff, seeing that you like 4X, and if you haven’t already, you gotta try Voidfall. It. Is. Amazing.
That's quite an achievement plaything over 1,000 times. Most people don't do that in a lifetime. "We rank with our hearts and not our brains sometimes..." I'm with ya. I see a cool component, or great artwork, and I want that game. But, I will usually watch a playthrough first before I pull the trigger. I've learned the hard way, that a cool board may not mean a cool game. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on 50 - 41!
fun list ! i’m also glad to hear a wargamer who plays coin games has a hard time remembering all those combos in 3 sisters - whew, i’m not the only one!
Best way to start is with the Core Box and Camp Happy Trails feature film! If you’re in the US you can purchase a Starter Set which includes everything you need! (Barnes and Nobel) if you have any questions we do have a Final Girl channel in our discord!
The Castles of Burgundy is such an elegant game and Stefan Feld is an absolute all-star so I would love to try The Oracle of Delphi :-) Also: completely agree that Devir is just on a roll!
Hey guys, I think a cool idea for these top 50 would be to add the year they were released next to the publisher! This way we can see some of these older games compare to newer ones!
Thanks for the suggestion!!
I love this idea
See....this is what I get for binge watching...."how to add a ton more games to my 'board game must purchase list'". :) Can't wait for the rest!
Apologies to your wallet!
Just played Hooky last week and loved it! Thanks!
So happy you enjoyed it!!
I’ve only recently started watching your channel and just been LOVING all your content. So now I’m runnin thru the archives! See ya in the comments 😏🫰🏼
Ehhhh we appreciate that!
"We don't like what you like" 😂😂
YAS look forward to this all year long! Cheers! Can't wait for the rest of the series!
Thanks so much!
Just got Castles of Burgundy as a gift for Christmas! Cant wait to play it
Appreciate the b-roll. These lists are probably biggest views of the year for most channels so nice to see that you all put the effort to bring some pizzazz to the list. Was surprised numbsters didn’t crack Jaime’s top 50
Thanks for the feedback Brad! I think she was surprised too.
All of these countdown videos need B-roll of the games, and you guys always do a great job of that. A lot of the audience may have never seen the games on the table before so the footage is awesome. Great work as always.
Thanks so much for the kind words!
Jeff always bringing up these GMT games all the time, makes me want to start trying some! Solid list so far, looking forward to seeing what else makes the cut.
Haha trust me, they’re not for everyone!
picked up Baseball Highlights w/all the expansions & the playmat off of ebay a few months ago and have been trying to get the wife to give it a chance. no luck yet😕
I played with Jamie again and she’s coming around on it!
@Foster the Meeple ...At the 18:25 mark, Jeff comments about a few unbalanced factions in the game. In with the rules is a reference sheet that tells you how to fix the factions with the balance issues!!

Grabbing my popcorn now! I'm SO stoked for this!!!! 🍿
Hope you enjoy!
I have the same issue with the small solo games, Jamie. I love them so much but they are so hard to rank and to compare to the heavy ones.
Scout is THE game to put in your jeans pocket, before you run out to visit friends or family who play cards or simple family games. Hi guys, love your list. Can't wait for next ten.
My 50-41:
41 The Prodigals Club
42 Tobago
43 Mind MGMT: The Psychic Espionage “Game.”
44 Atlantis Rising (Second Edition)
45 Blood Rage
46 Terraforming Mars
47 The Pursuit of Happiness
48 Autobahn
49 Jamaica
50 The Networks
Thanks for sharing! Prodigals club is one we really wanna try.
I started playing Sea Salt & Paper because of your recommendation and now I'm hooked. I'd love to try Hooky, but I doubt there would be many people around me that would play it.
Hopefully someday you can give it a try!
Nice start to your top 50! I look forward to hearing the rest 😊 A few of these games are sitting on my SOS. I can't wait to get them played, Brian Boru in particular!

Yea it’s been a wild ride of an experience for us that’s for sure
Exiting start to your top games list. Thanks 😊

Great list so far yall! Love it. Excited to see what comes next, and where some beloved games fall.
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Fun list, can't wait for the rest! Played scout before and I like it
Nice!! Its a great game
I dont think ive played any from these lists. But own a couple that Im yet to play like Scout. Im def keen to learn more about 3 ring circus and 3 sisters and the salt and pepper game.
They’re all good ones for sure!
LOVIN the Nacho reference towards the end....😂
It’s one of our favourites haha
@@FostertheMeeple such an underated movie.
I very much appreciate the context disclaimer... I agree that these lists can be fluid :)
Gotta be done to keep the naysayers at bay! Haha
Loving your channel. Just accidentally discovered it when I was scrolling through the home page and wondered why Epic Lloyd was making videos about board games. I soon realised my mistake 😅
So happy you found us!!
Yay I have been looking forward to this year's series! Definitely helps with the January blues. I am also recently new to Orleans and said the same whilst learning it - I think I'm going to love it and did. Such a good game! 😊
It’s only gonna rise. It’s very good
Some people like Invasion expansion as it’s co-op. I’m not a very co-op type of player, but I swear by Trade and Intrigue. It really improves in 3 major areas for me, the more variable events, the new deeds board and the trade cards.

They’re fun with the right crowd!!
Great list
Thank you!
I have YET to punch and get my Age to the Comics to the table! It looks so good but I just haven't had the time to learn it yet! happy to see it on this list!
It’s really good!! In our opinion of course haha
Why do cheaters always eat pumpkins?
Great list, thank you! Maybe the most entertaining boardgame duo, ever!
Thanks!
Thanks so much!!!

Age of Comics is a lot of fun. I need to give solo a try to get it to the table more often.
Yea I think Jamie wants to give it a try solo!! Have heard good things

Age of Comics looks so interesting, love the theme! COB is LOVE!😍
Haha COB is a masterpiece for sure!! If you get a chance to try comics you should!
Oh baby here we go!
stonemaier just released the new revised tapestry cards this week!
Love it!!
Have y'all played Motor City yet? Jamie mentioned 3 Sisters and made me think of it.
We haven’t!! But we have it in the queue
Love the list! Can’t wait for the next vids.
Y’all ever played World’s Fair 1893? I usually don’t like area control but this game is simple (I taught it to a non-gamer in less than 10 minutes) and it works so so well for 2 players.
We’ve heard really good things about it but have not had a chance to play it yet!
Have you guys played Ierusalem from Devir? Great game as well. And Jeff, seeing that you like 4X, and if you haven’t already, you gotta try Voidfall. It. Is. Amazing.

Yea so true!! It’s also so hard to know what is going to work for you. Sometimes it’s just a buy and lets find out situation
Oh boy, Brian Boru!! I love that game, which is apparently not a popular opinion.
It’s a popular opinion around our house!
fun list !
i’m also glad to hear a wargamer who plays coin games has a hard time remembering all those combos in 3 sisters - whew, i’m not the only one!
Haha right? Sometimes those combos are just too much.
You guys should check out The British Way. 2 player COIN game that can be played quickly and you get 4 different maps/scenarios in the box.
I’m sure we will!!! We just tried Banish the Snakes, super good coop experience from GMT.
Right now my favorite game of all time has been Libertalia: Winds of Galecrest
That’s a great one!
Jamie - have you played Halls of Hegra yet? … that game is 🔥🔥
You also need to check out David Thompson’s “Lanzerath Ridge” (DVG)
She hasn’t!! Hopefully soon.
I meant to say “Jeff” 😅, as it may not be up her alley … hope you both enjoy it!!
thank you so much 😊
The monsters in Oracle of Delphi should be spread out more. 2-3 monsters per grey/mountain hex in a 4p game.
2p game
Gotta try sea salt and paper and scout. I don’t have many card games and those seem to travel the best and non gamers like card games
I’d say sea salt is much more approachable to new players. Scout has some nuance that is tougher to understand IMO.
Have y'all played Distilled? It's funny because the way y'all talk about Kanban and use it to talk about games is how we talk about Distilled.
We have not played Distilled! Eventually we will I’m sure
I love the red bull comment you might even be awake till 11
LOL it’s so true though
This is more like of Jamie question my wife and youngest are looking to get into Final Girl they are wondering what good why to start
Best way to start is with the Core Box and Camp Happy Trails feature film! If you’re in the US you can purchase a Starter Set which includes everything you need! (Barnes and Nobel) if you have any questions we do have a Final Girl channel in our discord!
i mean if you love lord of the rings you would love war of the ring, easily the best lotr game
The Castles of Burgundy is such an elegant game and Stefan Feld is an absolute all-star so I would love to try The Oracle of Delphi :-)
Also: completely agree that Devir is just on a roll!
It’s a good one if you can find it!!
@@FostertheMeeple On the list of grail games it goes ;-)
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!
Enjoy!!
