Toji is no joke, he is like a Maki but much more stronger and faster because of his no cursed energy because of the heavenly restriction. The reason he remembered his son is because Megumi means blessings. Toji is one of my favourites I swear, his backstory is kind of tragic because he is an outcast from the Zenin Clan. Btw now we finally understand why Geto hates "monkeys"; referring to Toji who was a "monkey" that humiliated Jujutsu sorcerers. My man has PTSD
Toji can’t heal from that, just cuz you saw gojo heal himself doesn’t mean toji can, his knowledge can only get him so far if he physically wouldn’t be able to do it. Plus gojo was there to finish him off if he tried to run or something
Gojo dind't heal himself with red ,you can heal yourself with positive energy that technique is called Reversed Cursed Technique and anyone with cursed energy can learn it it's not a gojo thing. Also, blue is the enhanced way to use infinity, if you use positive energy instead of cursed energy to activate a technique you get the opposite effect of the technique, since blue attracts - red repels.
Yes, it was the first time he succeeded for the first time using Red, since Red is the reversed technique of the Gojo clan. And Hollow Purple only can be used only after having mastered Blue and Red.
Yes.. this episode gojo finally figured out reverse cursed technique(RCT).. and because he figured that out he was finally able to do "red" for the first time... and becaus he now understands both red AND blue.... he could NOW produce purple... He essentially learned and produced 3 technique in 1 day: reverse cursed techniqe, "red" technique, and hollow purple.. Which in a way, is 1 reason he was so elated about it...

hii kinda off topic but just wanted to point this out for future reference. gojo is heavily mischaracterized in the fandom especially when compared to geto because they mistake geto’s chiding of gojo’s playfulness as him (geto) being the good or morally right one. hidden inventory thus far has shown us how selfless and caring gojo is through his actions: - extending their stay and wearing himself out protecting and playing with riko - taking toji on himself alone after the fact - revealed to have been the one to suggest not forcing the assimilation and figjting tengen for riko’s sake - showing respect to toji asking his last words even after such a brutal attempt on his life i think y’all are already starting to pick up on how geto turned out the way he is now so i’ll leave it at this. thanks and can’t wait for next episode! :) btw gojo and geto are 16 here and riko’s 14
