It wasn’t a flashback of toji holding megumi that was tojis wife holding megumi, toji actually stopped killing and gambling after he met her but when she died he reverted back to his ways.
Gege (jjk’s author) said Gojo was using Geto as his moral compass in that scene, if Geto had said yes to his question the Gojo we see today would’ve been a completely different person
Yea pretty sure Megumi's mom in the image is not Toji's current wife. It's a really confusing detail, because we know Megumi also has the "Fushiguro" name, which would have to mean he took his stepmom's name, since we know Tsumiki is his step-sister and they have to already be living together by the time Toji dies here. I've thought about this too much lol
@@xRakanishu Toji takes his first wife's maiden name, aka Megumi's mother. I assume he gives his last name to Tsumiki after he remarries Tsumiki's mom. But Fushiguro is Megumi's mother's last name.
@@kagani6202Yeah Megumi mom was his first wife. Her name was Fushiguro. And as we know toji take her name after marry her. But after her dead he remarried another woman who already had a child (tsukimi). But the thing i don't really understand is why tsukimi have toji name since he's not her biological father. Her mother married toji so it's normal if she take her husband name. But not tsukimi cause her mother had her with another man not toji.
@@xenes3170 if im not mistaken, as per Japanese laws, children must have a common surname (last name/family name), so after Toji remarried, he gave his last name to Tsumiki, as he would never change his last name from Fushiguro.
Blue is negative cursed energy and Red is positive cursed energy. So Geto moved from positive to negative while Gojo moves from negative to positive. Love scenes like these which go over 99.9% of people including me
I thought red was negative, gojo explains that to heal with rct, you “multiply two negatives”, and since red is born from rct, doesn’t that make it negative cursed energy? Blue would be positive since it’s regular cursed energy.
@@LuciusArtoriusCastus. Not quite as you've got it backwards. You were right that red was born from two negatives, but that would then make it positive. Blue is gojo's normal application of CT, and red is what happens when he "multiplies two negatuves". Thereby blue is negative as it's regular cursed energy
Red is LIMITLESS operating in reverse to repel, Infinity is limitless operating neutrally (default) to stop, Blue is infinity amplified which creates a vacuum to attract. Purple is red and blue combined to create a singularity. All of the above aretechniques that utilize regular (unreversed) negative cursed energy. Reverse cursed technique is different: THAT’S cursed energy squared made positive (and allows healing, which only Gojo, Shoko, and Yuta have been seen capable of in the anime so far).
恵 (megumi) means "blessing/grace" in Japanese. So when Toji was rambling about "blessing" to Geto, he remembered Megumi's name since he was basically repeating the word "megumi"(blessing).
14:14 You're on track with the geto being in blue and gojo being in red, initially if you notice, geto was in the red zone before he moved to the blue and vice versa for gojo. It's a reference to gojo's technique. Blue is negative cursed energy, red which is the reversal is positive energy. Geto is gradually slipping into the negative side and is gradually questioning his beliefs....
Red is negative cursed energy, no? It's calles reversal red but it is not a reverse cursed technique, as it does not heal. It is called that because it is the oposite of the limitless technique blue
@@Fontani753Gojo is becoming better, and Geto is deteriorating. Gojo was definitely willing to kill those cultists, but Geto convinced him to be better and told them as sorcerers they have to have reason for killing. Gojo has always been arrogant and power driven.
For those that don't know Japanese folklore the spirit that asked Toji if "she's pretty?" is a reference to the Kuchisake-onna spirit. She wears a mask and will ask you if "she's pretty?" if you answer her "no" she’ll kill you, but if you answer her "yes" she will take off her mask to reveal her face which is cut from end to end and she will ask you again if "she's pretty?" if you say "no" she will kill you, but if you say "yes" she will split open your mouth from cheek to cheek, giving you the same mouth she does
Thanks for that! Tried to google which 'potential apparation' that could've been but couldn't find anything. So is saying "you're not my type" a sort of loophole? Since it's neither yes or no.
@@dollepret3954 Saying "You're not my type" or calling her "average" falls under "yes and no" which should distract her long enough for most to escape. Or if you're an absolute demon you can say " Well I think you're pretty, but that guy over there said you're downright hideous" which should make her go after someone else leaving you too escape
Geto still keeps his ideals at the end of this episode, Gojo is using him as a way to guide himself after what he’s experienced so Geto still cares for non sorcerers but we can see he is starting to change. Scary that if Geto gave up here and said yes to Gojo, jjk would be so much different, we could even be close to having a world full of sorcerers. Also Geto couldn’t absorb the the weapons curse because he had to kill Toji first since he is who it’s bound to. Remember he couldn’t absorb Rika because okkotsu.
I know it's obvious but I love how Gojo is like the drunk person relying on his best friend who'd guide him because he's not in his senses. Especially with killing, goes to show how fucking close they both were before everything went bad
As a Gojo fan and I admit. You gotta give it to Toji he actually gave these two the fades before he lost this round. He’s actually the first one to hurt Gojo and knows how his technique works besides Hollow purple
I need more characters like Toji don't get me wrong I love Gojo destroying everyone but it's the most engaging and satisfying when he is fighting somone who can actually stand a chance against him like Sakuna
It isn't explained in the anime like the manga, but Toji uses three tools: 1) His sword is the Soul Splitter, which can cut through any material, regardless of hardness and can cut souls 2) His dagger is the Inverted Spear of Heaven, which cancels any technique 3) The chain is the Thousand Mile Chain, which can extend endlessly, as long as both ends aren't visible

Geto calls the non-jujutsu sorcerers monkeys in JJK0 when in this episode Toji calls himself monkey that beat Geto. Also fun fact: Gege (the author) said that in the last scene Gojo asked Geto about killing these people because he considered Geto his moral compass so that he wouldn't kill everyone here and if Geto had said "yes, we can kill these people" then Gojo would have been a completely different character.

"Saving his son." Just keep in mind Toji sold Megumi in the first place to the shitty Zen'in, whatever his intentions. Lol I do agree that Toji probably mentioned him to Gojo because the Gojo and Zen'in are rival/ally clans and Gojo was impressively strong here. Maybe Toji did have some regret that he treated his son like tradable goods in the end. Still a deadbeat dad though.
Tbf, the Zen'in clan is shitty but we really only see how they act to people with no cursed technique, like Maki and Toji, Toji himself said that Megumi would likely thrive there if he had the inherited technique, and even if not, as long as he has a technique he'd probably do well, I think Toji's intentions weren't inherently good or bad, he just did what he thought would work out.
For the upcoming Shibuya arc, there will be so much shining moments for some characters that I would definitely love to hear discussions on who you think was an unexpected tier-climber in each EP or who was iconic, etc., outside of who the MVP is. Though this suggestion is more fitting for the next arc than this one.
For some reason it kind of gets lost in the english subtitles but "blessing" translated to japanese is "megumi". That's why he remembers his son when talking about blessings, he literally said his son's name like 3 times before remembering that's the name he gave him.

@@dankerbellGeto jumping to the conclusion of killing non-sorcerers should have been a HUGE red flag that he was unstable. Yuki isn’t a teacher so I guess she felt it wasn’t her job to guide him, but as an adult her response was still irresponsible.
Red is positive (cursed) energy, something Gojo didn't have a grasp on until his recent near death experience. Blue is negative (cursed) energy and you can see Gojo and Geto switching sides because of the words Geto was saying. Gojo immediately accepting them at face value, Geto being his moral compass at that time and in general but Geto himself was struggling to accept what he himself was saying and was holding back on killing those people. Geto is slowly crumbling, someone made to absorb curses will need to be an anchor unless he himself becomes a curse.
Ah i love your reactions so much, the discussions are always great. Next episode you'll see Suguru's psyche, what are the things that happen and influence him so. I will cry, probably. It always makes me sad. Toji truly threw a whole wrench in their lives. Toji really upset their development as people. It really makes me sad to see him go, as much as I hate him, I really like him. I like him more in the anime than the manga even. The post-credit is actually one of my favorite scenes of the whole anime and manga. Satoru stood there, high on power, high on hubris, his morality completely nonexistent, so he turned to Suguru and Suguru was the one that set Satoru's moral compass once again, even if Suguru himself was starting to spiral. The MVP for me are both Satoru and Suguru in different ways. Satoru for the action and the insanity, and Suguru for that last post credit. But if I can only choose one, then its Satoru. Cant wait for next week!
I don't agree with Geto's ideology, but I understand what he thought. What's the point of living risking your life to save people like the ones who killed Riko-chan? Why can these people remain alive while someone had their life taken so violently in front of them? And in the end, Gojo's words were the last push for Geto to fall into the abyss.
@@marti9734 I understand what you're talking about, but at least in my opinion, but I still consider this moment as a turning point because it's the first time that Geto, whatever he may say, clearly doubts the speech that sorcerers have to protect the weak and wants to kill everyone in that room. What comes after is the development of what happened here.
The thing about the Zenin clan is that they really hate it when members of their clan are "weak" because of their lack of curse talent. You can only guess how much they despised Toji for being born without any cursed energy at all. But they also really value those that have cursed energy, especially the ones that has superior talent with it. Megumi having the 10 shadows technique, the Zenin clan's best technique, made him such an impotant asset. Toji probably thought that it would be better for his son to be with the Zenin clan because they will adore and norture him much more than he can. But he also knew how corrupt that clan can be (as seen with the Zenin twins) so he probably told Gojo about Megumi because he thought that would be best for his son. He was a big scumbag who didn't care about the life of others, but at the end of his life, he did care for those that he can call his "family" in his own way.
14:16 I love where you’re going with this carlie. Blue is actually the pulling technique thou. I’d say geto is on the blue side which represents negative energy while gojo is on the red side which represents the positive energy. Remember cursed energy is negative and reversal cursed energy is positive (negative x negative = positive). But good catch, I didn’t notice the color symbolism when I first watched it
I like how much impact Geto has on Gojo. Gege (JJK Creator) said that Geto is Gojo’s moral compass and if Geto had said “yes” to Gojo’s question “should we kill them all?” Gojo would’ve done it and he would’ve been a completely different person today, he would be a twisted man.
"You have the blessed of parentage." 「親に恵まれたな」Toji says, kicking Getou in the face and remembering his son's name. Because the name's Kanji Megumi(恵) has the meaning in Japan of being blessed. From the above it can be seen that he wanted his son to be happy. The reason he forgot his son is because he's bad at remembering men's names😝
6:38 Fun fact: that curse spirit is based off of the Japanese urban legend “Kuchisake-onna” or "Slit-Mouthed Woman”. It takes the form of a long haired woman wearing a mask that asks men late at night if she is pretty whilst removing the mask revealing a slit mouth that goes from ear to ear. If the man answers negatively then she proceeds to kill him with scissors.

Those people were celebrating Riko's death because in their eyes it would've made Tengen in their eyes "impure". And Geto, who thought that it was their mission to protect Non-Sorcerers witnessed it. We could see the reason that he calls the Non-Sorcerers, Monkeys was because of Toji.
Gojo literally asked Geto about killing all these people, but Geto said «no, there is no point» and stopped him. Of course, these events are already beginning to negatively affect Geto, but in this episode he still keeps his right ideals.
just a quick thing, the name Megumi means blessing, so when he was talking about blessings after defeating Geto, him saying blessed was like "oh wait that's my kid's name"
20:34 yes, he does start refer non-sorceress as monkeys after that- you missed it, Geto subconsciously takes that term in and uses it after listening Toji say it. Remember? After defeating them he says “with all your blessings you all lost to a monkey like me.” So we see from that how much the encounter with Toji traumatizes Geto, to the point where he starts to mould his own beliefs falling astray. So when he starts calling all non-sorcerers monkeys, it’s a projection of his hate/trauma towards Toji.
I can relate to Geto a lot. When you're constantly hit with unfairness and seeing people who trample your morals get far better through life than you do... Well, it's a punch to the face. And when you're left alone with that mindset like Geto was it's an explosive mix. The sad thing is watching all of this and thinking "If anyone at any point just stepped back for a goddamn second" it would've turned out differently. But that's the saddest thing really, everything was kinda small (if you ignore Rikos death). The betrayal of the crazy believers is bad but nothing that would've really surprised Geto. But in combination with Gojo's change, Riko death, Toji and some things that happen later... It's just like the Titanic. Many small things that in itself wouldn't have been that bad of a fallout but in combination just turned out to be a absolutely tragic end. He is a very sad character and so well written.
You guys should rewatch jjk 0 and you’ll get more details and easter eggs from it Example was Geto in jjk 0 still follows his morals of not killing without purpose He has every intention on killing maki, but not toge and panda He even waited for yuta to heal all 3 of them and during that time not a single curse attack them, which even make yuta confused why is he not attacking since it’s the perfect opportunity But geto at that time just make excuses like it’s in his advantage for yuta to be distracted or whatever before continuing his attack to which yuta took out the toge megaphone
every single person in Getou's life failed him when it mattered. everyone had their own drama but this is a prime example of how you can go one of many ways without people to keep you bound to whats important
Hi guys, great reaction! Loved that Carlie pointed out how detached Gojo is now. I think with all the hype with the awesomeness of Gojo, that in particular could be easily missed. At this point, I’ve come to expect no less from the both of you. 🩵 And I can see how Carlie argues tt Yuji might be the Geto of the trio. Cus Yuji is a vessel of the King of Curses, and Geto absorbs curses. That might have some possibly similar negative effects on a person as a whole in itself… With regards to Toji’s parting words, perhaps I should try to explain something abt Toji and his falling off with the Zen’in clan. If you remember, the Zen’in clan is prestigious, they are part of The Big Three. Toji was born with zero cursed energy, and tt’s looked down upon by the clan. So that was why he was saying that he was rejected. Maki experienced the same thing, she was shunned. Technically Toji and Maki are both the failures of the Zen’in clan. Which is ironic af because, I mean, look at them. lol So that scene where Toji was essentially telling Gojo to take care of Megumi without outright saying it, the way I interpreted it was as if to say… well since Gojo is that stupidly OP, Megumi will be safe with him- because Gojo is prolly the only one who can ever fight off the Zen’in clan. So yeah, I’d say I agree with Ange’s observation. Toji is still my MVP for this episode and I think tt’s understandable enough without me needing to explain myself 😂 And yeah… Geto Suguru is still prolly my personal favourite character. He is just too interesting and compelling for me to not love him.
- Aside from a 'monkey' like Toji defeating both Gojo and Geto, who are "the strongest" despite having no cursed energy, we also see Geto witness a group of non-sorcerers clapping at Riko's corpse, like the death of an innocent young girl was something to be celebrated - A lot of people have pointed this out but it's such a neat little detail:Gojo got Toji's blessing (Megumi) while Geto got his curse (the Worm scarf thing)
In the last panel if not for Geto's word Gojo is the first one who would have gone rogue. Geto is on the verge to become rogue but till this episode Geto thinks sorcerer are meant to protect non-sorcerers. Gojo had Geto as his moral compass but for Geto there was no one, it will be explained in the next episode.
In the Spanish version, the subtitles of Gojo's phrase are something like "I am the one who is prayed to on earth and heaven". Gojo in this cap is absolutely insane, Its a not friendly remember that he is the strongest by far.
what i like the most about this arc is the personalities of Geto and Gojo because if we didn't know what happens in the present we could say that the bad guy is gonna be Gojo not Geto

It is so cool how they animate the flashbacks this season in a 90s anime style. It's like old tape. They did it in episode 2 and they did it again when Toji was remembering Megumi at 12:14. This is the first time I've seen an anime do that
In this arc Gojo says " throughout heaven and earth I alone am honored one " In junpei arc (manga) Narrator says for sukuna "throughout heaven and earth only his pleasure and displeasure exists"
This is how Gojo knew that Megumi has immense potentialuuu ... because his dad wiped the floor with him but was not clever enough to behead him, thats what happens when you're too arrogant to finish the job properly. RIP Toji, you were a really cool antagonist! Mappa did it again, animation is liquid!
The MVP of the episode for me based on the gravity of their impact on the story and the characters, is Geto. Gojo achieving Enlightenment is monumental for the Jujutsu world but killing Toji was arguably pointless (intended choice of words). Gege said that Gojo was using Geto as his moral compass. Had Geto allowed Gojo to kill the cult members, it's over for JJK verse.
For me, the mvp is again Daddy Toji, he just wiped the floor with geto like he was nothing and then he had the absolute most badass death scene ever. The man with literally 0 cursed energy just came up and destroyed the so called pinnacle of jujutsu who were blessed with many cursed techniques and finally he went off standing like a GOAT. He lost not because he was facing Geto and Gojo but because he was facing the writer Gege himself. RIP Toji, the sorcerer killer.
Most people miss it but I love how the second round fight between toji and gojo was not as intense as the first. It just shows the gulf in class between awakened gojo and current toji, it was an absolute mismatch at that point....
Remember, in season 1 episode 23, in a flashback, when Gojo first met Megumi, he said how Toji sold him to the Zenin clan. Well, there was a STRONG reason why Toji sold Megumi to the Zenins (it was beyond just having money in return). It'll be explained later in this season. But here in his dying breath, Toji realized that what he did was wrong and stupid, so he kinda "requested" Gojo to save Megumi before the Zenin clan get their hands on the kid. So, yeah, Toji did love and care about Megumi and thought about his son and wife till the very end. Fun fact (not a manga spoiler; just a small trivia from the JJK character data book): The Zenin Family exposed Toji to abuse as a child because he didn't have any cursed energy; he was abused just like Maki (he even received his scar when he was young by the Zenin clan). Toji became unstable with the Zenin household but calmed down thanks to Megumi's mother. Her kindness helped Toji change his ways and he stopped gambling and hunting sorcerers due to her influence on him. He actually did love her a lot and was a decent guy/husband when she was still alive. However, she died soon after Megumi was born, causing Toji to return to his previous state once again.
There is something powerful about Gojo's character. Knowing this man tried to murder him, and then willingly adopting his son before Gojo himself is even an adult. Gojo has even said the reason he deals with students is to help them become better than he is. Gojo's heart is also limitless.
Remember in season 1 when Geto said “I can’t let anyone from the school see *this* face”.. he didn’t say *my* face. That’s always made me question his identity
Toji did only what he thinks would redeem him to his clan. When his wife was alive, he wasn't thinking of any pride at all. Everything changed after her wife's death. Being resented by your own people is the harshest experience ever. Yes, he was wrong on doing so, but to be able to kill the pinnacle of all sorcerers will make him the pride of his son and his clan. But the most beautiful scene shown on this is that, Toji realized that he only has two people as his pride and nothing more matters.
"Throughout Heaven and Earth I alone am the HONORED one" is a quote from The Buddha when he reached enlightenment, Like how Gojou understood the core of his limitless cursed technique and became the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer of the modern era.
Lovely react 😺 I don't know if it'd be considered a spoiler since it's only in data books that Gege answered, but Toji was pretty horrifically abused by the Zenin clan as a child. It's how he got that scar on his mouth. Thrown into a discipline pit of curses as a kid. Lived instead of died.
Nice bit of imagery in the OP where we see Geto and Gojo portrayed in contrasted colors and facing different directions, interrupted by scenes of hands clapping. I think it ties into the ending scene here, with the faceless mass applauding the death of an innocent girl, a jarring event that seemed to twist the minds of our two young heroes, turning one into an eventual antagonist and the other into a pillar for the protagonists. Geto manages to stop Gojo from killing the cultists, but you can tell by his body language that he's trying to convince himself just as much as Gojo, and he's not fully buying his own argument. When Gojo asks "do we really need a reason for killing?", Geto answers "it's very important, especially for a jujutsu sorcerer." We see that Geto eventually finds his reasons for killing, and seeing this scene is probably reason #1 (we've seen a hint at another, when he rescues the two girls who were treated horrifically in that remote village for having cursed energy).
not a manga reader so this isnt a spoiler, but when geto and mahito planned the hanami attack at jujutsu high, geto was explaining everything about tengen and his barrier, he also talked like he knew everything about gojos power, to me that implied that he had getos memories
It's fun that Geto starts referring to non-sorcerers as monkeys because that's what Toji refers to himself as when he bodies Geto. The very root of Geto's disdain for non-sorcerers starts at Toji and then expands from there.

some info if you didnt know that quote inspire from from Buddha after his enlightenment (like Gojo achieved) “In heaven above and on earth below, I am the most honored one. I shall dispel the suffering that fills the world.” correct me if im wrong but the meaning of it: we are the ones, by having been born into the human realm, who have the power to dispel the suffering that is found in the world. he was born to be a king and blessed by many things but chose to discard his wealth and title and live and die as a man like Gojo, was born with power to rule but chose to teach others to be good and live as a man not a god (Geto, turned opposite, having god complex thanks to Toji and none sorcerers "monkeys") its also ironic that Geto's appearance is inspire by Buddha (Siddhartha Gautama) earlobes, baggy clothes, even his humble personality
6:23 Fun fact: This cursed spirit is based on Kuchisake-onna, also known as the "Slit-Mouthed Woman", is a malevolent figure in Japanese urban folklore. She is depicted as a masked woman who approaches people at night, asking if they think she's beautiful. After revealing her disfigured, slit mouth, their answer determines their fate. If they respond negatively, she kills them, and if they respond positively, she mutilates them to resemble her.
Gojo's proclamation of "Throughout Heaven and Earth, I alone am the Honored One" was a throwback to S1 Ep.13 as well: When Sukuna cut down Mahito, Nanamin's JP narration actually said the very same line Gojo had in this episode (天上天下唯我独尊) meaning "There is no one in this world more proud and conceited." could also be translated as "Throughout Heaven and Earth, He alone is the Honored One.", basically foreshadowing potential conflict between Gojo and Sukuna.

Just to point it out, Toji was actually remembering his wife holding Megumi, not himself. In his last moments, his wife and his son were on his mind
His ex-wife, isn't he with Megumi's step-mom at this point.

@@LuciusArtoriusCastus. negative multiplied to negtive = positive. rct = negative x negative. rct = positive.

That's interesting because from the dialogue in that scene it seems like Gojo is the one losing it and Geto is the sane one
Red is negative cursed energy, no? It's calles reversal red but it is not a reverse cursed technique, as it does not heal. It is called that because it is the oposite of the limitless technique blue

For those that don't know Japanese folklore the spirit that asked Toji if "she's pretty?" is a reference to the Kuchisake-onna spirit. I do agree that Toji probably mentioned him to Gojo because the Gojo and Zen'in are rival/ally clans and Gojo was impressively strong here.

Toji called himself a monkey infront of geto.
Nah theres more in the next episode for Getos complete change. This is the beginning not the turning point
But good catch, I didn’t notice the color symbolism when I first watched it
Yep, this is what was meant by that statement. Thanks for clarifying!
Tbh and for the first time i'll say the manga did it better

Remember? After defeating them he says “with all your blessings you all lost to a monkey like me.”
So we see from that how much the encounter with Toji traumatizes Geto, to the point where he starts to mould his own beliefs falling astray. So when he starts calling all non-sorcerers monkeys, it’s a projection of his hate/trauma towards Toji.
Red & blue are the symbolising colours for 2 complementing fundamental energies of existence.
You guys should rewatch jjk 0 and you’ll get more details and easter eggs from it
Example was Geto in jjk 0 still follows his morals of not killing without purpose
He has every intention on killing maki, but not toge and panda
He even waited for yuta to heal all 3 of them and during that time not a single curse attack them, which even make yuta confused why is he not attacking since it’s the perfect opportunity
But geto at that time just make excuses like it’s in his advantage for yuta to be distracted or whatever before continuing his attack to which yuta took out the toge megaphone
Also have to bear in mind what Maki went through with her lack of cursed energy in the Zenin clan. Toji went through the same.
every single person in Getou's life failed him when it mattered. everyone had their own drama but this is a prime example of how you can go one of many ways without people to keep you bound to whats important
That might have some possibly similar negative effects on a person as a whole in itself…
With regards to Toji’s parting words, perhaps I should try to explain something abt Toji and his falling off with the Zen’in clan. Which is ironic af because, I mean, look at them. lol
So that scene where Toji was essentially telling Gojo to take care of Megumi without outright saying it, the way I interpreted it was as if to say… well since Gojo is that stupidly OP, Megumi will be safe with him- because Gojo is prolly the only one who can ever fight off the Zen’in clan. So yeah, I’d say I agree with Ange’s observation.
Toji is still my MVP for this episode and I think tt’s understandable enough without me needing to explain myself 😂
And yeah… Geto Suguru is still prolly my personal favourite character. He is just too interesting and compelling for me to not love him.
To think that Gojo was literally a Teenager at that time, Majestic🦋
This awakened Gojo... this side of him, is the one Nanami compared Mahito with. The joy/high they get from showing off their monstrous power.
- Aside from a 'monkey' like Toji defeating both Gojo and Geto, who are "the strongest" despite having no cursed energy, we also see Geto witness a group of non-sorcerers clapping at Riko's corpse, like the death of an innocent young girl was something to be celebrated
- A lot of people have pointed this out but it's such a neat little detail:Gojo got Toji's blessing (Megumi) while Geto got his curse (the Worm scarf thing)
The darkness surrounding Geto on the ground at the end as he is barely holding on to his convictions

Edit: I just realised they put THE WORUDO!!
Man that end scene said so much. Gojo basically planted the thought into Geto's head that humans weren't worthy.
Toji is the goat
One of the greatest character
His intro was insane
His outro was epic
Kamo revealed that Megumi inherited Zenin clan cursed technique. So makes total sense why Zenin clan wants hin
There is something powerful about Gojo's character. Knowing this man tried to murder him, and then willingly adopting his son before Gojo himself is even an adult. Gojo has even said the reason he deals with students is to help them become better than he is. Gojo's heart is also limitless.
By the way is wasent Toji holding his son in the last scene it was actually his wife. A lot of people got confused on that tho l.
25:06 manga spoilers
ohhhh they're not ready for when we get mekuna in 2045😭
Remember in season 1 when Geto said “I can’t let anyone from the school see *this* face”.. he didn’t say *my* face. That’s always made me question his identity
Shibuya arc will answer your question mate
@@alfiyanfahrezi9433 Manga readers always gotta state the obvious lol.
Always waiting for your reaction as soon as a new episode drops 😅 You guys never disappoint
"Throughout Heaven and Earth I alone am the HONORED one"
is a quote from The Buddha when he reached enlightenment, Like how Gojou understood the core of his limitless cursed technique and became the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer of the modern era.
Lovely react 😺 I don't know if it'd be considered a spoiler since it's only in data books that Gege answered, but
Toji was pretty horrifically abused by the Zenin clan as a child.
Blue is attraction. It means pulled.
not a manga reader so this isnt a spoiler, but when geto and mahito planned the hanami attack at jujutsu high, geto was explaining everything about tengen and his barrier, he also talked like he knew everything about gojos power, to me that implied that he had getos memories
It's fun that Geto starts referring to non-sorcerers as monkeys because that's what Toji refers to himself as when he bodies Geto. The very root of Geto's disdain for non-sorcerers starts at Toji and then expands from there.
What brilliant antagonist. His badassness ripples through the future of this series. Well written.

For that reason, there is almost no reaction. What a waste.
some info if you didnt know that quote inspire from from Buddha after his enlightenment (like Gojo achieved)
“In heaven above and on earth below, I am the most honored one. I shall dispel the suffering that fills the world.”
correct me if im wrong but the meaning of it: we are the ones, by having been born into the human realm, who have the power to dispel the suffering that is found in the world.
he was born to be a king and blessed by many things but chose to discard his wealth and title and live and die as a man
like Gojo, was born with power to rule but chose to teach others to be good and live as a man not a god (Geto, turned opposite, having god complex thanks to Toji and none sorcerers "monkeys")
its also ironic that Geto's appearance is inspire by Buddha (Siddhartha Gautama) earlobes, baggy clothes, even his humble personality

Fun fact: This cursed spirit is based on Kuchisake-onna, also known as the "Slit-Mouthed Woman", is a malevolent figure in Japanese urban folklore. She is depicted as a masked woman who approaches people at night, asking if they think she's beautiful. After revealing her disfigured, slit mouth, their answer determines their fate. If they respond negatively, she kills them, and if they respond positively, she mutilates them to resemble her.
11:11 thats also said by Buddha
Gojo's proclamation of "Throughout Heaven and Earth, I alone am the Honored One" was a throwback to S1 Ep.13 as well: When Sukuna cut down Mahito, Nanamin's JP narration actually said the very same line Gojo had in this episode (天上天下唯我独尊) meaning "There is no one in this world more proud and conceited." could also be translated as "Throughout Heaven and Earth, He alone is the Honored One.", basically foreshadowing potential conflict between Gojo and Sukuna.
Did you notice Toji said you lost to a monkey like me
been waiting for this reaction since the episode dropped, i cannot wait
Fun fact. The name of the arc Hidden Inventory is from Toji's curse, an inventory full of tools that can be hidden inside the invisible man 😁
6:13 Ayo thats DIO right or am i trippin
11:10 It's a quote attributed to Buddha. (Buddha also says it in Records of Ragnarok)
