@@sportsfan5548 was it in the story that the foster dad was the abusive one? there are way too many accounts of women being abusive to foster kids for me to pin it just on the dad without proof.

Michael Beary Good cops are literally some of the best people. Their genuine desire to serve, and protect the public is so strong. You can always tell when a cop is in it for the right reasons. It’s not just “I wanna catch bad guys”. It’s “I wanna help people”. Unfortunately the bad cops tarnish the reputation of ALL cops. But hopefully that changes soon.

Detective Mook is a hero 3 times over: a hero for helping keep the people of Pittsburgh safe, a hero for his service in the Armed Forces, and a hero for giving these two boys the good and loving home they deserved. It is beyond gratifying to see his selfless act ended up with him finding love and not 2, but 5 children.
Yes god blessed him with a family for his actions.
Aww I loved this story when it was just him adopting those wonderful boys! Now it just gets better and better! I am so happy the boys have a real family now and that their whole family is complete! They all make one beautiful family! I wish them all a life of love and happiness!

This guy is a Saint for what he did and he ended up with a huge family in the end. This is the most wholesome story ever. I hope everyone is still happy to this day.

Great story! :) And a pleasant case of "stalking" lol My grandmother used to say she missed her city busy on purpose ...all the time...so that she had to ride the bus my grandfather was on. It's how they met. They were married 68 years. Always held hands. Through thick and thin. :) Love this story. For the couple and the brothers!
