Love everything about this build. The wheels, the steering wheel, the craftsmanship and even the red with black roof! Gorgeous!

8:00 missed a trick here - looking at this, if you relocate the battery to the trunk, say, you could intake air from right underneath the windshield where there is a low pressure area that is perfect for it. You'd have a very short run into the charge cooler from there and its cold, low pressure air. That's one reason why most car hvac systems draw air from this location.

We think we have achieved a perfect balance with the XJC RRR - there is always a case for full originality, and classic cars need to be celebrated and preserved. But with this we wanted to try and get modern running gear with classic looks! 👍

Great that you’re on the home straight so to speak, I was wondering what base car would be the most sensible option for that XJ-R transplant if a customer didn’t go for your level of perfection and optimisation ? Presumably a rust-free Series 3, ideally an unappreciated 3.4 ?

It’s looking good but I think that the wheels need a splash of colour on them, there just seems to be a lot of silver and they need to tie into the red a bit more. Love the steering wheel and the engine bay looks like it was done in the factory but better 👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Loved this series, I didn't get a chance to speak to you at the NEC, I spoke to the guy who built the engine (sorry I can't remember your name, but it was good to talk to you!) and the car looked stunning on the Jag Breakfast club stand, a personal highlight. 😎👏🏼

The XJR looks good, with the finishing touches still in sight, I'm curious about the end result.
Busy summer? Especially if you can solve Alex's problems with his Nürburgring excursion.

According to the federal law HESCHLAVVO, it is already prohibited in Switzerland to drive combustion engines on mountain passes from 2025. In France, the SCHLABOUBVE regulates that fossil vehicles producing fine dust are banned in all cities from 2025 The BABVVO in Germany will ban exhaust pollution control from 2027 and this will happen, nor will the European ban on tires and brakes due to fine dust.
