An exotic and "modern" version. A lighthearted feeling but quite energetic too. Wonderful version to kick off an evening of cocktails in a kimono. Sounds great!
A superb explotion of energy , with that oriental touch that came more about 1922 when King's Toot tomb was discovered. The original from 1920 sounds exotic and oriental but here is more noticeable. I'm glad you enjoyed it tocayo!
@@tiga4180 Japanese gin? It would certainly go with the kimono and song. When did Japan start producing gin? I'll likely stay with London dry gin for my Martini.
@@charlescalvert8647 I've no idea when. Was staying at a hotel in Great Yarmouth recently, where the manageress recommended it. The brand was Etsu & it was so strong that she suggested two small bottles of tonic to go with it. The flavour was pure magic!
Just went back to my 'batwing' Victor version & for me, nothing is lost in this more upbeat 1950's version. Perhaps you could enjoy this with a Japanese Gin, if its available in Mexico!
Sound very interesting, very likely it is Japanese Gin over here, there are several wineries with brands from all over the world and should be one or two at least. It's worth a try!

@@rordorica This version made quite an impression. It brought on a wonderful cocktail hour (or four).
Recommend Japanese 'Etsu' gin with your favourite mixer!
