From what I understand by watching this video up till the end, you spend money if you want to - the more you spend the better you get. It's kind of like choosing between iMovie and FCP. iMovie won't cost you any money (compare that to Apple Continuity Camera) and FCP will cost you $300+ but is it better? (compare this with insta 360) Heck yeah. Miles better. I think you should keep insta 360 because it frees up your iPhone if you want to check messages or answer calls.
Imran, enjoyed the comparison. Personally, the Continuity Cam had the best details in the picture quality but the 360cam had the better optios & desktop view. Apple will likely include those options in the future IF you are prepared to wait..
@@websquadron I’m looking forward to it! Using continuity camera which is great but I need use of phone often so unless I get another iPhone it would be better to have a standalone webcam
Agreed that it has MUCH better contrast ratio and much richer blacks, but my issue is that the Desktop View isn't great, and even though your iPhone Camera is set to 4K 30FPS, it only shows 1080p... which is a big shame.
Insta360 does have great video quality just like other product lines, but the tracking features don't seem so... I bought one before and I havn't been used for quite a time😐
I just returned mine !! I’m now using a Shoot App that cost me £9 one time payment for the full 4K from my iPhone (much better than Continuity Camera). ruclips.net/video/0UX0vE7RtRc/видео.html
Great info - thank you!

I have a spare phone for the CC :)
Plus I’m checking on how to get full 4k with the CC.
The non 4k for iPhone as a webcam is more down to the limited bandwidth of the lightening connection . Great video btw
Try the Shoot App - cost was £8 one off fee - as that allows full 4K now from my iPhone :)
@@websquadron will give it a try thanks for the tip
@@thefullsetup Here's a video on it: ruclips.net/video/0UX0vE7RtRc/видео.html
For lack of a budget, I use the Camo free version with the 7th generation iPod Touch. It works pretty good.
Awesome ;)
I’ve started using the shoot app ($8 lifetime) as that gives me full 4K from iPhone so I could return the Insta360

Well… I may have found a slightly better option…
@@websquadron Which is?
@@Jadamson321 Some more checks tomorrow... and then I'll reveal more....on Monday. Just need to be sure.

@@Jadamson321 My ‘other’ way would still need an iPhone. I’m lucky as my wife recently upgraded so I just use her old iPhone XR.
too much Imran at one time :) Now it's obvious why you choose Insta360. Great comparison.
I may use something else….
I like the Apple camera the best. Seems to have the best blacks anyway.
