All the dupes videos just reinforce how beauty can be made on a budget. Everything you duped and DIY'd in this video is just beautiful. Thank you for spreading the magic!❤
Hi Shannon it is unreal how much the difference is in price. I'll stick to Walmart. Thank you for the ideas. Love your Christmas videos. Thank you so much. Have a Blessed week. 🎄🎄
You could probably glue the felt trees to the wood beads from the tip of the treetop and they would still hang down, in a pinch, if no fishing line was available. I always appreciate your creativity and great DIY vids, + saving the money isn't too bad either!
It's amazing what Pottery Barn charges that can be duped and still look almost as good or even better! You did a fantastic job! My faves were the garlands. ♥️♥️♥️
I saw that tree on Sara Jane's Walmart haul! I want it!😊 It is sold out right now! Thank you for sharing your pottery barn dupes with us, Shannon! So easy & budget friendly! Absolutely stunning!❤
Love these dupes!! I'm all for decorating on a budget. I would wrap the ornament garlend around my tree instead of cutting them off the rope. I agree with the plastic ornaments. I LOVE jingle bells!
These are such wonderful dupes and DIYs. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the results are so festive. Thank you for your hard work! 🎄
Kirkland's has been having weekend sales and they have beautiful garlands and what they call banners. I got an adorable gingerbread and peppermint candy one for 11 bucks.
Great video for decorating ideas like Pottery barn. I bought the My Texas Home tree, and the ornaments. I also found some pine cone trees that are like the Pottery barn ones. Also there was pine cone garland that I am going to spray some glitter on. Thanks for the great ideas and inspiration.
Once I saw that twinkle tree, I knew I had to have it but like you said, they were sold out in this area already. I did check back today and found they had 2 left in stock for shipping only so guess who will have that beautiful tree tomorrow, after I’d already cried about having to wait until next year?! Please check back every so often because they do find stock or get returns. I am so happy you featured that beautiful tree and even happier that I will be giving one a very happy home. ❤️
WOW! Such a huge savings! I'm going to make the white felt tree garland...it's beautiful. Thank you for sharing all of your projects and the Walmart products too. I want that tree too!🎄
Your cranberry sweater is beautiful on you Shannon with your hair. Your hair is always beautiful too. I love working with felt! Since I was a child I love felt crafts and the year my company went bankrupt and the owner ran off with our 401K and medical insurance money I made literally every Christmas gift from felt. I had an old Martha Stewart magazine from my Mom where I made pointsettas and gold felt bells, white flowers white green and red trees. Some still display their gifts ever season. I have a very large serving window between my kitchen and dining area and I think your white felt trees would look awesome there. Since I moved out of my Mom's house I have not had a real tree but want to this year and I will need more ornaments. I love the gold ones you bought. Too much to say on this video. It was a great one I will surely implement these ideas. I hope all are well in your family. Blessings, Rebekah in VA
Awesome as always Shannon.. I mtself make an ornament every yr for everyone of the kids a few yrs ago they all wanted me to start selling them so I make a bunch and they each take a few to school and ask around. They are all the same but not the same if uno what I mean 😉 i stamp my signature on the backs with the date . The kids still get one too 😂 yall stay safe stay healthy stay positive always make it fun Love from Tucson Arizona 💗🦎🌵🌻🦉👩🏼🌾🌵🦎💗
I love eating your videos and you have given me so many fantastic ideas. I’m in Australia so don’t have Walmart but I have managed to get similar products couldnt get the the bead garland so I got a packet of beads so just need to string the beads up
I love your videos! Your dupes are awesome, and my wallet thanks you! In the part of the video where you added the twinkle lights to the metal leaf garland, I noticed a nativity behind it. Can you tell me where you bought it OR how you made it? It is so perfect for my home!
Hi Shannon, I hope you are doing well and i know your a busy lady for sure. the Bottle Brush trees place card holder is such a great idea i love those. you can make more of the place card holders with the extra wire left over all you need is a large pair of round nose pliers and bobs your uncle its more place card holders. or you can make some fancy Christmas tree ornament hooks. Your she shed is always nicely decorated for Christmas and all year long, i love it. Have you recovered from Pinner's yet? You guys cracked me up on the videos you guys made. Honestly i would love to hang out with you girls sometime you are all so fun loving and funny. got to love those girls weekend trips. I have changed my Christmas decorations from the traditional colours of red gold and green to sage green and gold i also used a lot of crystal ornaments instead of the usual globe ornaments and it looked so gorgeous one of these days i will have to show you what i do for Christmas and send you some photos. You always inspire me with the way you decorated your home as well and all the crafts you make and ideas dupes and high end decor i just love it. Anyways take great care and will look forward to the next video. God bless you and your family Shannon and in keeping with the situation I would like to wish you and your family a happy thanksgiving. I am thankful i have people like you in my life God bless
It's my she shed fireplace. We sort of built the inside based around it and it's all worked out great. I had never had a fireplace before this one, so it's pretty special. Love being able to hang the stockings from it ❤️
I've actually been to Pottery Barn with my sister. She's done pretty well for herself so could afford those kinds of prices. I, on the other hand, didn't so Walmart has been my go to store. The biggest difference is the quality. Like the glass ornaments for $40 but Walmart was $12.98. I've always been a bargain hunter and even creative so I have made things like you did Shannon. I learned to crochet years ago so have made my share of blankets that my sister could just buy. I think I have probably been happier because I could make things that she just bought. I love a bargain!! 👍👍
😂LOL.. that was Fun! I Knew the net difference would have a Comma. $1,038.- 😅 Spray-painted paper clips, on your last cute diy, could Add to that Win of yours?❣️
Hi Shannon, Just an FYI, the Walmart's in Canada for some reason or another, do not stock the My Texas Home brand, so i could not get the blanket and the glass and gold cone trees from a previous video. You guys in the States are so lucky with your Walmart's, we don't even have much of a selection of crafting items as you do either, i'm so upset.
I have always considered glass ornaments to be cold and impersonal, even though they create a stunning, magazine worthy look. Every year, I bought my kids a meaningful ornament that celebrated a significant achievement or activity (e.g. birth, starting school, ballet classes, etc.). I had no ornaments when I got married, so I often gave a special one as a wedding gift.
I’ve done that for years for my kids and when each got married or moved into their own place, I gave them all their ornaments to decorate their own trees and start them off. Now, I am doing the same for my grandson who is now 13!
We have ornaments that were passed down & I get ones as a memory of a fun thing we did. Whether that was an event or to go see a Christmas movie in theaters. We have several memory ornaments from over the years.
Why cut the rope into pieces when you can cut the rope at one end and slide the ornaments off and have a nice length of rope to use for a different project
Hello. The jingle bell garland dupe isn’t the same size and scale. The bells they used are 2” & 1.5” on a red & white rope not baker’s twine. The difference here isn’t even qualifying as a look for less. That being said, I am sure this could be duped for much less but you really can’t call this a dupe.
Wow! Pottery Barn us so very overpriced. I love doing DIY versions. You can even take it one step further and save from Walmart by going to less expensive sources for the ornaments and painting them yourself. Also thrift stores are another great resource for less expensive items to DIY.
There is NO WAY, ABSOLUTELY NO WAY, I would pay $98 for that bell garland. My 4 year old could DIY that! Potted Barn and Balsam Hill are overpriced for no reason. It’s ludicrous.
PS: This was my first Christmas video I have watched. I am in a 3 day craft sale this Thursday, Friday and Saturday and I am making.Fall garlands with felt and maybe I should make Christmas tree ones too. I have white felt on hand and the peppermint colored bakers twine and I have different size trees in my scroll saw book. If they come out good I will give you a shout out on Instagram. 🌲
Wishing you the best of luck with your craft sale!!! I did that at one time in my crafting career too and I know the amount of time, work and love that goes into them. Would LOVE to see your creation if you get around to it, thanks!
Wow pottery barn is insane!! I'm so glad we're getting pretty much the same look at Walmart or make our own. Thanks Shannon
It is crazy how $$$ some things are! Way way cheaper at Walmart. Thanks for watching!
I love that Pottery Barn tree skirt, and the Walmart one is pretty too. My cat would not leave either pretty for long.
Shannon, you are incredible. Love the dupes!
That’s just crazy! The prices stores want to charge. Thank you for sharing such great information with us and have a blessed evening. 😘❤️🤗🙏🏻✝️ Lisa
I live in the UK and am always so jealous when I see videos of things people can buy from Walmart.

Your dupe videos are some of my favorites! Thank you so much Shannon.
Wow!!!!! Amazing!!!!! Going to go online to Walmart and/or go to Walmart in person and stock up!!!!!
All great dupes. Prices are insane. Have an amazing evening.
I need that blanket! Not that I don't already have several!...
That’s how it happened for me too 😂
😂you can never have too many soft, beautiful throw blankets! ❤️
It's amazing what Pottery Barn charges that can be duped and still look almost as good or even better! You did a fantastic job! My faves were the garlands. ♥️♥️♥️
I agree! These are totally doable and much cheaper. Thanks for the love!
My sister bought me the tan colored one of the Walmart plush blanket last year and it's so soft, I love it

Where did you get your mantel?
Me and my hubby built it 🩷

How does pottery barn stay in business with Walmart around lol 😝
WOW!
What a price difference!
Such a BIG difference, it's crazy!
Ridiculous how corporations feel they can charge those amounts just by slapping their name on an item that costs a few dollars to make.

No, up in Southern IL
