Thank you for this video! My husband and I are doing this exact route and were concerned about how far out we should book these trains for this leg of our trip. Did you purchase both legs of this trip together or separate? We’re going for a month and still not sure if we should get that Eurail pass or just get tickets as we travel. Thanks again for sharing!
That is awesome. I purchased our the tickets for this route together. I use Rome to Rio to check the possible routes then used OBB or Omio apps to compare routes and prices. Be sure to give yourself time for the transfer between trains if the route has one. Sometimes the next train is right on the next track, or it could be farther away. You may start looking for train prices now. This is the part where I learned that I couldn’t wait till the last minute to book. I didn’t realize they were just like the airlines where the prices go up the closer it gets to day of departure:-(
