I've complained so much about the white/beige boxes shown on H&H, but I must state that this home is beautifully done. The designer did an amazing job adding depth & interest. The styles & textures add great depth & warmth. The unique pieces add personality. There isn't any hint of being a Instagram clone here. The designer really thought out the use of the space. I love the idea of open concept, but if you share the space it's not always ideal. Love the oversized sliding doors/partitions. I wasn't sure about the bathroom until the door slid over. I sincerely hope that we see more interiors from this designer. Amazing work!! 😍
Glad you enjoyed the tour! We've featured several other projects by Ancerl Studio. Check them out here ➡️ ruclips.net/p/PLq6_9C13yh5O_nRQ8Ki3VtrvIBlDeu9oP&si=hCYizgugjDS8qvVl
Totally agree with you I almost skipped my first H&H video because I am sick of the repeated "WHITE, BRIGHT and AIRY" white boxes! I am glad I didn't 😅
This is not the standard family we is to in H&H and it’s so refreshing. The designer has a beautiful movie narrative voice! The luxury cooking station and the real wood stoves are great choices. I only wished a luxury and exceptional unit like this will have more natural light in the kitchen and a patio.
Wow, if you described this space to me, I would say I don’t like it, but seeing how intentional and beautifully executed this loft was designed and decorated, I absolutely love it.
I love love this house!! It's amazing! We have a similar floorplan (angled wall on one side) with concrete tiles, and I've been looking for inspiration to improve our home. I've finally found the perfect inspo!! Thank you, Nicholas! All the houses your team has done in H&H are my faves!!
Very interested in the fact that it's so massive but with only one bedroom and one bathroom (?). Maybe they like entertaining but don't want anyone to stay over...
Wonderful home! Love the colors and the "grandezza". The sofa is stunning! The island to cook will not work: the sink and the stove have to be in the "same" triangle (google "kitchen triangle rule")!
What a great use of space. I love this….the only thing, I would have put in herringbone white oak floors for warmth and softer on the feet. (Just my taste….but I get the polished floors). I love this designer. Super talented.
I like the industrial design that goes very well with brutal architectural feature of loft, however I would have designed the kitchen cabinet and counter top differently to reflect the industrial style better and goes better with gas stove and rest of the loft.
I can’t imagine cooking in a kitchen where I had to walk all the way around a very large island to go between the sink and the range. It’s quite impractical.
The house is a work of art. The giant black door is exquisite. I'm wondering how much their heating bill works out to be though?!😂. Not sure if its rhe absence of art and coziness or the white walls, it just feels cold.
its very unique. only thing that is missing is the big fresh plants or maybe a tree. there is no greenery there, its very hotel like, or a lobby like. a touch of green would make this place more homey :)
Range and hood are monsters. Huge box hanging over your head. Baseboards do not bring a sofistication to this space. If you usr reveals at least in some areas it would be much better. Handles on vertical storage look cheap. Walls are very plan. They need some plastering, microcement. It will elevate the look. TV wall is very important and there is none. You have to think about that before renovation otherwise all wires will be exposed.
It's obviously a beautiful space, but it requires a very particular person to want to call it a home. Grand and impressive absolutely, cozy and homey - not.
Everything is gorgeous except the BATHROOM.... why why why on earth would anyone want that bathroom moisture into their bedroom and clothes... WHY!!! Edit: the comment section is for ppl to share what they/ didn't about the above content. So i did!!! Its not to throw any 'expertise' at anyone... smh!
The sliding wall is again halfway up... The top half is completely open.... Plus... any upholstery is a moisture magnet... And the exhaust is placed over the tub and not the shower... a hot steamy shower will collect water everywhere... then even with the exhaust on throughout the day... with won't change a thing... it can't suck out the water...
@@mio0101 It is a warehouse. It is a huge open well ventilated space. And you haven't set foot in that bathroom to say the ventilation is insufficient or what dehumdifying options are in there. I'm sure it's all in hand and they've thought of this. Maybe you could contact the apartment owner and offer them your expertise on this matter?
I need a face to face conversation with you that could possibly help you out. Listen, my design skills and what I have been keeping in my mind for so long because I had no one to tell. Still don’t, except now I am actually reaching out to people who have similar interests to me. Give me 10 minutes. You only have 10 minutes to lose
Ancerl Studio is definitely my favourite on House & Home! Love the excellence✨

Agreed. I too am sick of beige and monochromatic schemes, but Nicholas Ancerl is the best.

This designer is super talented I’ve seen a few videos of his work he is really in a league of his own 🤩👌🏾👌🏾

The big black door is everything. It’s so dramatic & practical. Well done.
So excited to see Nicolas. My favorite architect/designer. You didn’t disappoint with this unique space . Absolutely beautiful sunlit design !
It is like an art piece by itself!
Absolutely love this home. Certainly not your typical loft. And that dining table and sliding metal door, unique features that are so amazing!
This loft is a statement in the best way! Gorgeous!
Stunning! The clients needs were clearly met without sacrificing artistic beauty.
Wow, if you described this space to me, I would say I don’t like it, but seeing how intentional and beautifully executed this loft was designed and decorated, I absolutely love it.
Stunning. What a gem!
WOW !!! stunning!!! well done
I can watch you all the time. I wish you had your own RUclips channel because you show some phenomenal homes.

Love this. The entire place is brilliant.
I really love that bathroom!
Love it...agree that it is jaw-dropping. Excellent use of space and light😅😊❤
Absolutely beautiful! Great loft with exquisite taste!
Stunning reno!! Bravo!!
Nicholas creates these incredible, unique spaces with I love.
Stunning!
This is well done! Enjoyed hearing about the process!
I mean Wow! Simplicity Refined so well done architecturally and with the most chefs kiss of design . 🏆‼️🥂
What an outstanding space❤
LOVE!! ❤❤❤
Love everything about the house!
Very interested in the fact that it's so massive but with only one bedroom and one bathroom (?). Maybe they like entertaining but don't want anyone to stay over...
Good observation! There were in fact two additional bedroom spaces and bathrooms that we didn't include in the tour.
Thanks for watching!
@@houseandhome oh wow! Thanks for the reply!
Makes this house Even better. give us some more of this designer! Such tasteful choices complement this home wonderfully.@@houseandhome
How many square feet is the space?

Cool home! ❤
Beautiful.
WOW! It's fabulous!
Beautiful design and a very cosy home.....
Wow! That space is amazing!
I, love this home!!!!
Stunning kitchen! 🩷🩷🩷
Wonderful home! Love the colors and the "grandezza". The sofa is stunning!
The island to cook will not work: the sink and the stove have to be in the "same" triangle (google
"kitchen triangle rule")!
If you can use the water from the sink by reaching over easy to the other side then it would be very convenient bcuz both sides are as long as 5ft.
Wonderful ! Such a quirky house 👍
Absolutely stunning! 👍🏻
I love the island with the range and the large sink
Gorgeous ❤❤❤😍😍
It's beautiful ❤
HOLD UPPPP!!! Is that a 7ft range??? woooow stunning!!!!

Exactly what I thought. No one that really cooks would go for that.
Yes!

Beautiful 😍
💯 Magnificent!!!
Looks cool but feels cold

WOW, Speculator home ❤
How can it be that the owners of these homes always love to cook and entertain?🙊
7ft Lacanche range???????? this house just called me broke in 6 different languages.
Is starts at $30k USD. Starts! 🤕
Congratulations where are you moving to?
A warehouse.
No powder room?

👍❤️
Its a sexy loft
Lots of dead space, but very minimal living.
It's for sale right now. $5 million.
This is just a “Sexy” space. Good for the owner!
Вопрос к дизайнерам ,которые придумывают такие подушки. Специально не сидеть? Только любоваться?
Holy Cow! How the other half lives....
You mean the other 0,1% I'm sure :D
It's obviously a beautiful space, but it requires a very particular person to want to call it a home. Grand and impressive absolutely, cozy and homey - not.

You missed the sliding wall that can be used? And it will have ventilation to remove steam and moisture. Its a modern bathroom not one from the 80s.
