- “My clients wanted their home to feel warm and cozy, but their biggest concern was the scale of the space,” says Nikki Fisher of NFG Designs. To achieve the look, she brought a mix of traditional and contemporary elements throughout, including shaker wall panelling, wood ceiling beams, hits of brass and plenty of custom millwork.

Wow this is probably the most beautiful home I have seen, it’s big but has a very homey feel to it. It’s elegant, chic and surely the homeowners have beautiful taste. Even the kitty looks so pretty and classy!😂.
Thank you!! The homey and comfortable feel was priority for our clients. The kitty claimed a blanket on the sectional and has also had a few *accidents* claiming other places in the house so it must be kitty approved too!

I love coastal, transitional and somewhat French country spaces and I loved what you did with this house. This shows me that in our new build house in a year or less, I can mix somewhat more modern vertical board and batten with picture frame molding in the same house.

Beautiful home and I love the attention to millwork. Good millwork just elevates a design. I adore the detail of the brass screens on the kitchen cabinets. Very nice combo of the three cabinet finishes. Well done!

I am so over the Tom Ford book and large beads laying on books. It is comical now. Also, it would look better if there were no gaps between the kitchen hood and cabinets. I do love the living room fireplace and stone.

Where are the kitchen chairs from please
Compare this to the H&H video that came out a couple of days before this one. It features a Victorian home makeover. Stunning -- colour, character, personal touches. The video above is indistinguishable from many other H&H makeovers -- bland, impersonal, showroom level, overused accessories like large wooden beads with no purpose except to fill space.
The man who did the Victorian home a few days ago really did raise the bar. The space was beautiful and full of energy and character. I find that most people don’t like that much drama. They like more safe spaces like this home. I do wish that they would create more individual character in each home. For now we can just dream or wait for another video from that designer. This is nice too though just the same

It’s a bit wishy washy looking I like more impact but it’s pleasant and I’d live there.
Lovely space everywhere in every room, but the main bath is in fact, monochromatic. That little bit of dark veining on some of the tiling, sin't making that much of a difference. It's calm and lovely, but also cold and boring.
When whole world trying as hard as it can making interiors without baseboards.
US: base board and shoe molding YES! And the more detailed ones the “better”. 😝🤦♀️
I can’t imagine the pain to deal with the dust on it.
Otherwise elegant design.

Lots of beautiful details but too many white walls.
Kitchen: Not sure the slim opening between the hood and the cabinets on both sides is attractive. It appears to be unfinished or like it wasn’t sized right… plus all the grease from the cooking will just sit there and be hard to clean.
I agree. I just made the same comment. It looks unfinished and cheapens the kitchen. I do not like it at all.

It’s a beautiful home but the decor is sooooo boring/bland IMO. A pity, however this may have been the homeowner’s choice, but think the designer should have pushed for more excluding the loo.🤷🏻♀️
It’s a matter of personal taste, preference & lifestyle. I love colours and I don’t find this bland
Design it’s preference just bcz YOU find something boring doesn’t mean it’s the same for everybody. Your opinion doesn’t matter when the owner loves it🤨
