Love the work done here. A question though - why so many of these western apartments open into the kitchen as the first room from the front door? Why would you want not-so-familiar people entering your house to see what is being cooked?
The kitchen just inside the front door is a STUPID North American thing. I can think of nothing worse than tracking in the dirty outside right into the kitchen.

You need to be careful about how you criticize. I know two young families that, because of budget constraints and other considerations, have recently installed flooring similar, if not the same, as the "terrible grey flooring" you describe, and they feel pretty good about it. I love rich and luxurious design, but not at the expense of dissing those who can't afford it but do their best to upgrade their older or builder-basic homes.
Another question...you talked about wallpaper in the foyer and then a texture on the wall behind the TV in the living room. Do you have a link for those?
I love her design. Very minimalistic yet a touch of class. However, I hate shower curtains with all my heart. A nice shower frame would have been better in the ensuite bathroom.

There is not a big difference between before and after especially the kitchen. It is just different furniture. It is just a refresh. She is giving a link only to the furniture and accessories, there is no link to the materials she used because there is none.
