This woman is doing really well financially. She embraces the three key steps to success.
    First, she is maximizing income.
Second, she is living below her means and investing the rest.
Third, she is enjoying her life. She will do really well.
Many would consider 300 sq ft a burden. She has turned it into a pleasant cocoon. She owns it so she has the opportunity to build equity. For some reason the movie "Downsizing" comes to mind after watching this. So much of life is determined by the body you inhabit. As a man of 182cm or 5'11" height this wouldn't work for me. 450 square feet is the smallest functional bachelor unit for me. The closer you come to a square floor plan for these units the better functionality. Never opt for those elongated rectangles. A balcony is a must. The kitchen island is a masterstroke. If you live downtown a car is redundant. Motorcycle or bicycle is more than enough to get around.

Area’s in Toronto are built like mini villages. You feel community and connectedness and everything is in walking distance ~ cafes, banks, grocery, deli’s, restaurants, hair salons, bars, boutique shops, bookstores, fast food, bakeries, etc, yoga, fitness, pharmacies, shopping, doctors, walk-in clinics, library, subway, even a park all in walking distance~ and you see familiar faces, they know you. And you’re closer to entertainment. You don’t need a car to swallow up half your funds AND you don’t feel isolated. Especially for singles. Couples and families are in a different world where that is not much of an concern. But uncoupled think of those things.

Ive lived here in Canada for 21 years and my biggest Salary is 46K. I pay for car insurance $125+ gas so may be $100, hydro for $120, extra storage $170 $70 internet $190 two cellphones and rent of $1750 in a brand new Condo (not in Toronto) ive lived in Toronto for many years and I regret living there. Never again.
She bought this condo for an amount she could have had a mansion in USA. While she makes that much money a month its seems awfully wasted. I do wish her well but safety for a woman is first. I haven't used TTC or walk alone in the streets since I was 18. Im 35 now, engaged and I'm just thankful to be alive and surviving.
Canada has ruined all my motive to ever buy a property here, pay for 30 years just to enjoy it for 10 years and then downsize back at 70 years old.
No thanks, ill keep my humbling lifestyle.
I cook things from scatch and I workout for free at my building.
