Love these kinds of historical figures.
I was hesitant at first to buy the 2nd wave, but after watching this video I'm all in! I really love the look of the Jackal figure.

These are badass. Never seen historical action figures that I wanted to get my hands on.
They look fantastic. I think they're a great supplement for Mystic Legions (more warriors for the House of Noble Bear :)). You're right, I don't think their necessarily "better" per say, just different. I think the Legions invites customization were as these - ennnn I'm not sure anyone should be taking these a part. I would've got one of these if I had a preorder for individual. Still might splurge in for one or two.
You need to warm the knee joints with a blow drier or hot water to get full knee bend articulation.
Finally received my wave 2 today from Big Bad Toy Store. I opted to buy extra Praetorian Guards so I have 4 to accompany the Prefect. So glad to finally have these and they don't disappoint! Had to clear a whole shelf to put these and wave 1 all together, they are so epic!

These are beautiful! Too bad I can't find them anywhere... Literally everywhere (except eBay of course) is sold out. I found the first wave on BBTS by accident just browsing around the site and bought them immediately, lol. I'm pretty sure I got the last set too as it showed "sold out" after I paid and they have not come back in stock. I actually just re-watched season 1 of Spartacus yesterday... One of my favorite shows! Man, I wish someone would get the license and give us that cast of characters! I suppose there wouldn't be much of a market for it though.

Got a few of these on pre-order at BBTS...looking forward to having them in hand. Would love to see them try other historical periods/characters. I for one would love to see this style of figure done with a Native American/Indian character with a headdress and some bad ass weapons. As a fan of history I'd be all over a wide range of characters from different eras...
I got my wave 2 recently, was lucky to find them from a FB seller that is also a distributor and at a great price for 240 USD shipped and they are amazing, I have only open Squasher as is my favorite until I get a nice display cabinet to display all 5
i have three now and I'm slowly trying to catch up. They're so good . I wish I was on to them from the start and had gotten about 5 of the legionnaire.
They should reissue wave 1 and 2 what are these limited edition figures? I live in Australia these are going to be really expensive for me to hunt down and catch up.

I got the entire wave 2 and also the free Maximus helmet, extra pauldron and arm guard too. You can customise one of the praetorian guard to be Maximus.
I just review what I am sent but I would've like those extras and indeed a second preatorian...which are impossible to find now.

The lack of poseability on the Pratorian guards due to their chest armor and skirts is a deal breaker for me. I should be getting wave 1 either today or tomorrow and would love to add the 3 new Gladiators in this wave as well but they're currently sold out.
Is any of the armor pieces removable like the first Wave, specifically for the Solomon Basher combatant?

On the guy with the yellow skirt the plastic on the stomach looks like it's a different color than the rest of the figure
