JANGBRiCKS I agree it would take a long time to build if it was mini fig scale butt mega blocks would have more than likely used more big new pice molds BUTT that is all hypothetical because we all know that mega blocks would not make a mini fig scale mammoth :D

I got the "Forward Unto Dawn" set as a christmas gift 2 or 3 years ago. It was an awesome christmas gift but the door to the cryo tube was missing. So I asked customer support for a replacement and as expected, they sent one! But as an extra apology they also gave me the original "Banshee" set for free which is pretty awesome.
Imagine you driving this beast in the future Halo games squashing every singel covenant in your way xD

I own this set, and its HUGE! That is a good thing, and it has TONS of space inside for minifigs. One negative though. It had SOOOO MANY MISSING PARTS! I recommend this set but be ready to deal with missing parts...

Honestly I used this vid so I had a good reference for building a mammoth in Terra Tech XD

The most important features is being able to kill the whole exterior crew and it acts like it's okay
the Spartan with the recon armor actually had recruit and the saw on the little rack is a DMR
The elephant had more peices and might even be slightly bigger
And the original one pretty much matched the game version exactly, even if the scale is off.
Now that,is awesome. Megabloks did an amazing job creating this masterpiece.
I feel like changing the color schemes of these vehicles in a few places is good. In the games it gives me this really cool immersive feeling that when i see this crazy-massive machine, i'm only seeing ONE of them, in this war that spans across the universe. But it does take away if one wants an exact replica from the series.
I totally agree with what you said about missing parts. Bought the Pelican for Christmas. Do NOT want any missing parts that could spoil the holiday. This should not happen. The design is amazing and all, but this just isn't up to Lego's standard.
I hope they bring it anytime back but better but i wish I was older so i can buy it my parents wont buy me a set that big just for setup or to play with
Here's a tip kids if you don't want the stickers to fall off, put a layer or two of clear nail polish and the stickers won't fall off if they get wet.
also, i always loved messing around with the mammoth in halo 3 forge. so fun.
um, I think you're thinking about something else. the mammoth wasn't introduced untill halo 4
They did a few years ago. And yes, even though they're about the same size in plastic, the Mammoth is a lot beefier, armed armoured, and overall more awesome.
I have the mammoth and I totally gave it some upgrades.... it looks amazing.
Design-wise it's still kinda on the level of 90s' LEGO. Not that I mind, I liked that era.

It really sucks when you lose a piece in a big set. Even Lego sets! But that doesn't occur commonly to Lego sets.

Don't worry, it's not just you who gets these missing pieces. I got a warthog resistance set and it was missing two of the pins to hold the wheel strut things in, but luckily I had a couple of lego pins nearby so i used them.

as a moc maker i actually like stickered pieces rather than printed cuz than i can take off the print if I dont want it while making something
I wish lego did a huge vehicle that can carry other vehicles inside it like this. it doesn't have to be halo but it would be awesome and it would be my fav set ever.
to those who dont play the game i believe the wheels are almost twice as big in comparison to the pkayer/figure and the inside has 2 stories

Your right about the sniper rifles being on both sides like the campaign and they really should have included halo 4 jet packs for the first time and put them behind the sniper rifles like in the campaign.
I always wanted to see a size comparison with the UNSC Elephant.

There are ways to get around things, give it a mounted machine gun turrets base.
they should make little 6 x 2 piece and fit a light source into it and have a power source that has a little wire that you can fit into a space like a generator
I got this for Christmas, took me between 5-6 hours to build nonstop, my only complaint is that the stickers were very badly warped out of the box, to the point of being unusable. Also, I got two of the same pieces when they were supposed to be opposite, and I had to cannibalize my EVA's last stand set for a hood piece, thank goodness they are the same color!
I have had bad luck with Bothell and megabytes. Lego's mba line series 1+2 every set I got in that year from my subscription was missing parts. On megabloks though, I've had two snapped arms, 3 broken necks, a broken mantis foot, an elephant that was missing pats(I could replace them from my collection), and a forward unto dawn I had to return! In the main box, there were four smaller boxes remember? I got two of the same boxes and was missing an entire box! My mom decided then I couldn't get any more megabloks until now.

I got a 5 dollar pack that came with both Laski and the Roland AI figure.
The Laski figure I have looks way better. But that one looks exclusive. Also I was missing pieces to the Covenant drop ship.

While I totally understand your frustration in regards to missing/mal formed peices I would just point out that; A. Nothing is perfect I have not yet bought a mega books set but in my experience with lego I have had sets with mal formed peices (once or twice) and even missing peices even sugnificent ones (rarly but still) and B. while I am by no means an expert I know that now ther are several companies with ear lego (or in the case of brick tech lego grade) quality, and while I do have find memories with and great apreciation for the quality of product(s) that lego provides I am (especially because of the price difference) seriously considering the alternatives (especially now) the figures in those helo sets really look very cool and interesting: so I guess what I am saying (and I don't mean to say that you are) is that something shouldn't be dismissed or looked down upon (just) because it's not lego. I for example got just this Christmas doctor who figures from a company called charicter building that in my openion are very well done that one of them also had a missing price frustrating yes shouldn't happen defenitally; but it does not mean I wouldn't get more if I so choose not is this the only time or yes brand with which this has happened... So I guess my point here is that it sucks and yes again it should not be happening but at the end of it all especially if the can get another it is what it is unfortunatlally. Here's to in home replication and perpetual motion technology so we can get whatever we want and have an infinate supply of energy to make it with.

I don't know why I seem to have Recon on the brain. I know completely full well that first guy is in Recruit armor, but still the wrong word came out of my mouth. Dangit, sucks being an actual human being and making mistakes every now & then! LOL

Jang, just an idea. Take a photo of the set without stickers, before you show it to show how much texture the stickers add
If you still have the instructions, then go to mega bloks .com and go to the request center. Say the set number and the piece number and how many pieces and you can probably fix those few errors that bugged you.

Actually now that you mention the missing part,I've went through that experience a lot of times,and I CAN'T get the parts because I live in Mexico and I have a lot of incomplete sets 😥😥
for me the elephant will always be the boss. btw the elephant is like a moving fortress. The mammoth is somewhat of a fortress too but not that big of one. for example the tires may be giant and strong but enough bullets and more stuff and boom the mammoth is stuck and then the enemies act like ants taking it out part by part

It's a MAC. Officially. It's designed to shoot at bad guys, not send cargo into orbit.
If you played Reach it says Mass Driver and M.A.C. in regards to the same one.
