I just wanna say and I don't usually comment on things. But, this video is really good, the guy is easy to look at and understand.. He isn't over jolly ( fake) yes it's scripted but he's genuine about it. Thanks to this video I'm now able to play eso with out a handicap, and that handicap is me living in Australia and zos not having oceanic servers. I now can hit opponents in pvp with a cone attack and do not have to deal with desynced players. I did exactly what this guy did, went with surfshark, wired modem to laptop to xbox. Now I would've given this video 10/10 but it's getting a 7/10 imo because he failed to explain how to connect laptop and pc while staying connected to net. I had to figure it out based on all the comments that people also had the problem with and asking. I ended up buying a usb to Ethernet cable ( WiFi card) from eBay, it turned up 4 days later and then I spent maybe 8 hours? Downloading the vpn and doing everything I needed on a slow laptop. Followed his step by step and when I finished. I turned xbox on and at first it didn't want to connect online so I reset the xbox and also modem, then before it reconnected I also switched the usb to Ethernet card to the other Ethernet cable and for whatever reason it worked. I firstly booted up Swbf2 and went into a game with no location change to see if it made net worse and gave me 3 bars ( 3 bars in that game means unplayable) and it didn't in fact I'm convinced it made the game feel less jittery. Then I switched location to Germany and it instantly put mW into game full of Germans and 3 bars so that's how I new it worked. I then jumped onto eso, queued for bgs and wow my jaw hit the floor.. I've been playing handicapped for 6 years in that game. And I felt my hits actually connect and cone attacks would hit someone if they were in the range of a skill before I had to be up their ass just to hit them and that's if they kept one pace and direction. Anyway. It works, thank you. But next time explain it a bit better and you'd get way more likes and subs and comments etc

It would get a lot more complicated and you would have to be a little more tech savvy. But I think you would need to have either a usb to Ethernet adapter or if I remember correctly have a usb wifi dongle that can broadcast wifi like a router. For the wifi one is where it gets complicated. You would pretty much have to make your laptop a router sorta and connect your Xbox to that. Then you can do the whole thing where you share the vpn connection. On my pc I had to select a adapter to share it to which would be the one Xbox is connected to. I would recommend to just get a usb to Ethernet adapter cause I messed around using a laptop as a bridge and that was a pain in the ass. It’s been a month so hopefully you figured something out by now. But if not just reply and I can try to help

If your computer is connected via the ethernet cable, you would need to connect a separate cable from your computer directly to an Xbox, or use a Wi-Fi connection on your computer to get the internet connection and then share the VPN connection via the ethernet cable.
You would need to buy something like a usb to Ethernet adapter. Or like he said you could also get a wifi adapter but I’m assuming you want the wired internet.

You can do it wifi but you can also do it wired from your PC you have to have more than one ethernet port on the PC in order for that to work. But if you're PC is wifi capable than do wifi on your PC then you can connect the wire from the PC to the xbox.

AT&T has a VPN with internet that you can select the Xbox only. Pretty great, can just get on my phone and turn it on in the app for AT&T.

I have found that redoing the sharing of the network and then unplugging for 30 seconds and plug back in works well for me for the last 3 weeks
