what a game for France, a peace of hope for the futur, france could be so competitive in the adult categorie, they almost win everytime against england in under 16,19 level !!

I agree. Unfortunately, as a Frenchman, I think the difference afterwards is the lack of means and money. Unlike England, which has a large number of professional clubs with academies and a large number of players, France only has 2 professional clubs, the Catalans and Toulouse, and a much smaller number of players. And yet, the potential is there, as French youngsters regularly outperform the English in these categories. The hardest part is the springboard to the professional world (sorry in advance for my English).

France regularly beat England at jnr level, why doesn't this carry on to senior level ? It would be incredible to have a strong French team that could challenge NZ, Eng and Australia

Because of a lack of funding from French Gov for grassroot rugby league & inadequate professional pathways in France,compared to England with their super league

Wow amazing game! Shame about the tiny crowd. if the French gov could stop screwing Rugby league in France because of their nepotism to rugby union, - French rugby league could flourish & seniors team can become a dominant force again (as was the case in the 80s & earlier)

This is a under 19's game played in England. Crowd is exactly what you'd expect.
Yes, a bit of government funding would make a huge difference to league in France.
