May Allah makes you crave Islam more and more each day. You have the will that is amazing soubhanallah. Do not dispair. This is very good. Everytime think "was is the easiest step I can make toward den today" it can be reading Quran, reading some verses, reading hadiths, helping someone in need, pray in the masjid, and be grateful say al hamdoulillah and in fact try to incorporate dhikr as much as you can. Baby steps, there is no rush in Islam. This is jihad al nafs so each time you manage to do something toward, Allah thank him a lot and celebrate this as it is a victory. You'll make it. Allah guides who He wants and you already seem to care about your deen, thank him like if your deen was already hiw you wanted it to be. Next thing you know, you'll amaze yourself.
If Allah swt says YES then it doesn’t matter who says no. Al Mujeeb - Allah swt is the responder. He ALWAYS listens and responds to you when you ask him through dua. So believe in HIM. Keep asking.
HE is answering your duas continuously. If you don’t get exactly what you want it is because HE has reserved something even better for you for HE knows best. We have limited time bound information. Allah swt has perfect timeless eternal wisdom. HAVE FAITH that HE always does what is best for you. ALWAYS.
It’s easy to go to Allah in times of hardship and ask Allah for help, but to train yourself to constantly ask Allah and thank Him in times of ease is more difficult. May Allah guide us all.

I was in the process of ordering flashcards with his 99 names when my mother-in-law gifted me with a lovely picture displaying the 99 names of Allah along with their meanings. This video came up, so now I'm learning the names. Allahu Akbar! Allah has also responded to my duas. He knows what lies in our hearts and our desire to understand Him and draw closer to Him. May I know why Allah doesn't grant some of His servants' du'a despite their great effort to come closer to Allah; fard prayer, sunnah prayer, sadaqah, zikr, being patient, trying to be sincere, etc? As human beings, sometimes we need something to comfort ourselves. This is a genuine question because I really need an answer. When some people don't get what other people have achieved, I've seen some Muslims make fun of this people, saying that this people might pray late, don't do sadaqah, don't say istighfar. Why they mock other Muslims?
Some people need to purify their heart, do not let their ignorance fool you or make you dispair. Some of your deeds won't bring you relief in dunia, some of your duas won't be answered in dunia & as a believer you have to accept that and think about janna. Sometimes Allah delays the answer to your duas and it is only years later that you realize it wouldn't have been as wonderful and amazing as it is now if you had it when you asked. The delay can be a blessing. Istighfar and gratefulness will help you inchallah
