We need be able to discern what is good for our soul and what is harmful (SIN). A Sound Mind has self- control and self- discipline to behave morally not bring slave to passions of ego and pride. This is the freedom Christ bestows us, liberating us free from SIN. Galatians 5:1 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
