I woke up today with this song playing in my head.....after almost a decade
Yep i remember the year 2009 when this came out haha
Jinkx man
That's so trippy
I did today 🌞
what a day, what a day
Still one of the best Robbie Williams songs :)
yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
What do you mean still? His new music is terrible it will always be great.
no
NO
It is the best
I loved to see his documentary on Netflix. All his songs have a meaning, I had a wrong picture of the man and didn't understood some behaviours in his past, now I do, he is a wonderful singer, so talented and I am happy to see that he is finally in peace and happy. Congratulations Robbie.
Who listening this in 2024?
Go to bed
omg me! this is so relevant to me because im watching this in 2020! will someone remind me of it again once its 2021?
Is your profile picture from Enclave?
@@franklucaswhite1340 i don't know i found it on internet
Ich höre das Lied auch noch in 2020 !!! So what!!!!
Remember when Robbie made a comeback with this song
And what a comeback it was, one of his best songs and it's still a banger. I remember that song all too well. Robbie's class!
WALKING IN THE DESERT LIKE A BOSS !!!
Kevin Swinnen happens
Because there is a vehicle waiting
God, the songwriting and production on this track is flipping next level. Absolutely one of Robbie's best songs.
It really is
C'est normal il a Jésus Christ avec lui❤.
the most Underrated song of all times
obvio
"the most Underrated song of all times
" - On a Robbie Williams Song, that was played to death on radio. This is probably the dumbest and most hpyerbolic comment i've seen in a while.
@@Sheyvanrocks Hahaha agree! When I saw his comment, I said: wtf
@@Sheyvanrocks maybe in your country or you just listen to mainstream radio that only plays trendy songs over again. "BODIES" has almost no recognision in my country. I honestly think Robbie is one of the most underrated singers of his time.
BUZZKILL ROZA robbie is not underrated. He’s very well known
Nothing is more satisfying than seeing Robbie Williams strut like a boss through an aircraft graveyard.
You should see him Strut through his home town then. That's even more of a Graveyard! :-P
LOL you're right about that. I've been to Stoke XD
oohh stoke.
Really!!✌🏻
we all want to walk like that with a suit, full boss mode
He had the best looks in this era. Such a handsome man
This song has a totally different meaning after watching the documentary. It's not another good song of Robbie Williams, it's his resurrection.
I have not watched the documentary. I'm just a regular old fan. Robbie Williams is a resistance of the great pop music.
Thanks for the compliment 😊
God gave me the sunshine,
Then showed me my lifeline
I was told it was all mine,
Then I got laid on a ley line
What a day, what a day,
And your Jesus really died for me
Then Jesus really tried for me
UK and entropy,
I feel like its fuckin' me
Wanna feed off the energy,
Love living like a deity
What a day, one day,
And your Jesus really died for me
I guess Jesus really tried for me
Bodies in the Bodhi tree,
Bodies making chemistry
Bodies on my family,
Bodies in the way of me
Bodies in the cemetery,
And that's the way it's gonna be
All we've ever wanted
Is to look good naked
Hope that someone can take it
God save me rejection
From my reflection,
I want perfection
Praying for the rapture,
‘Cause it's stranger getting stranger
And everything's contagious
It's the modern middle ages
All day every day
And if Jesus really died for me
Then Jesus really tried for me
Bodies in the Bodhi tree,
Bodies making chemistry
Bodies on my family,
Bodies in the way of me
Bodies in the cemetery,
And that's the way it's gonna be
All we've ever wanted
Is to look good naked
Hope that someone can take it
God save me rejection
From my reflection,
I want perfection
Bodies in the Bodhi tree,
Bodies making chemistry
Bodies on my family,
Bodies in the way of me
Bodies in the cemetery,
Bodies in the bodhi tree,
Bodies making chemistry
Bodies on my family,
Bodies in the way of me
Bodies in the cemetery,
And that's the way it's gonna be
All we've ever wanted
Is to look good naked
Hope that someone can take it
So God save me rejection
From my reflection,
I want perfection
Jesus didn't die for you, what do you want?
(I want perfection)
Jesus didn't die for you, what are you on?
Oh Lord
(Jesus really died for you) Ohh
(Jesus really died for you)
(Jesus really died for you) Ohh
Nice copy pasta
Noppanat Khaoyai the lyrics are great in this song
Noppanat Khaoyai 😍
Noppanat Khaoyai I love this gong but I'm very religious
back when 360p were totaly enough
It still is for mobile
ya lol
It's fake idiot
It was HD then
Stimmt wowww
that "everything's contagious" hits different in 2020
they never noticed that's an english gentleman in the mexican desert
and Jesus repaired the motobike for him

❤❤❤❤❤❤
Got goosebumps just at the end of the song because I hadn't heard it in a while, the song is still amazing in 2023!
video makes sense a lot. you can think of robbie as a man on exile after years away from all the fame and stardom. he decides to shape the fuck up and come back in a way (motorbike scene) then Ayda (his future wife) literally and figuritively rescues him on the road. he sings all alone in a desert till he finds his groove back and that fuckin range rover at the end shows up as a metephor for money and success it represents in the entertainment business.
I like how you think sir
well said
Interesting interpretation. Impressive....

Thinking to deep.
I remember seeing this video on tv when I was 9. And it somehow came back to my mind now.
this song is TOO underrated. definitely up there with robbies top hits! i loved it when it first came out
In my country, Bodies was the only number 1 single Robbie Williams ever had.
Yeah, with 14 million views? Don't think so, lol!
@@HiYannick if you compare it to all the other songs of his, that's low! and not a song people mention when they think of him, it's usually his older stuff hahah
@@ShonziTho If you put it like that, yes, then I guess you're right
Randomly popped in my head after over a decade and been listening to it all day
Same.. laying in bed .. just popped up in my head 😂.. wierd
His best tune..underated❤
🌹🌹🙏
Best lyrics
Best music
Best beats
Best song of the era
Jesus love you
hahahahahhaah
I think also best model video hahahaaa, didn't has to really act
I will always remember the first time I saw this and thought: HE'S BACK!
yes, a superb comeback
I remember hearing this on VH1 in 2009, instantly i fell in love with the song n knew it would be in my list forever...
2022 still the same vibes i get from this song...
Same here. I had forgotten the song name but remembered the album's name, "Reality Killed The Video Star". Lol & navigated myself through that to here years ago. This song is awesome.
I heard from a summer 2010 dvd along with a few others
Yess omg
Yes it was number one on top tens for a week or two
Same story. I thought I was the only one to feel this way.
I remember watching this masterpiece on tv when I only was 4 years old , my parents where still together , my old dog was still alive and everything was such perfect 😞
2024 and still legendary
"and everything's contagious" - how did he know LOL
Magik *snort snort*
Love him dancing on the jumbo jet wing
I haven’t heard this song in many years yet I still remember it word by word
My god, i forgot about this song... so underrated.
Robert always doing something original. Definitely 2023 pop

Sweet memories... I missed this song , trying to remember what name had the song, and i'm here, listening to him again in 2016!, Good music has never been forgotten.

LOVE it! One of Robbie's best!
One of my fave Robbie songs! The crypticness, the craziness, the sexiness, that bassline, that chorus, those vocals! And of course a #1 hit as well!

Omg refinding old songs like finding gold
The best song of Robbie Williams
This is one of his best songs! I can't stop listening to it.
I love how this was a great comeback for Robbie Williams, and we all swallowed this song and were in love with it, for Robbie to then come out and say he has no idea what he was even on about and the song means nothing.
But I really like how people still take meaning from it. :)
no he was talking about the Iraq war and did not want to be blacklisted so played ignorance. Madonna was banned from certain radio stations due to her comments on the Iraq war.
Ellie Amissah Ah okay, interesting. Thanks!
Kirsty Bailey Just to explain further when he says jesus didn't die for .. he is snging about an interview where he said jesus didnt die for us to go to war.
Ellie Amissah Okay, cool, thanks.
Aya Barwari ...Yes?
Still the most relevant song in our world. 😢
Keep rocking 🪩
perfect song
The last time I heard this song was about a year. Today I opened this video and I still remember all of the lyrics. Amazing Love this song

Paul James Brady NSNO my Birthday 😂
This was an amazing comeback.
Robbie and Ayda look so good together.
I have been looking for the tune of this song for more than 5 years now, finally found it... Extremely satisfactory!
I’ve listened to Robby Williams for at least five or six years and i’m still fascinated with his music today
Oh the memories~ I used to listen this couple years ago
Like most of Robs other stuff didn't like this at the time but all his records grow on you in time 5 years after release this is better than anything in the charts at the minute.
Your documentary proved me right. I always noticed that sad, lost look of yours. Also, I do remember you were joking-not-joking about it all the time. I guess having anxiety and depression myself (at a time when it wasn't common to admit it) made it more noticeable for me. I'm glad you found true love and what you always wanted: a family. The way your babies cry when you leave home is the way I feel every day when I have to leave mine for work. For some people, it is just the moment when they can finally disconnect because family is "too much" for them. Others, like us, can't stand the idea of being away from them, but we also understand we have to provide for them and help them protect their own dreams. With great power comes great responsibility, I guess.
Here i am, greetings from Italy
Ah Gosh.. My old School days.. My Nokia express Music..
2009 was the best year for Pop songs.. I guess..Tik Tok , Baby , Etc songs.. Also it was the first time , I was introduced to the Phenomenal RUclips where I watched this video song in November 2009... Those days... Can't believe , time flies so fast... miss those times
After 2009 everything got shit
Still a hit even in 2018. A Highlight when listening to the Radio
9 years ago!! The time is running...
THE DANCE AT THE END, HIS FACIALS EXPRESSIONS I LOVE EVERYTHINGG
Thank you for the compliment 👌
one of my favorite songs of all times.
Still a hit even in 2016
Hell yes ! :D
+alin gomez Well that's why you call a track timeless. He can do that, he's got a lot songs that are extremely likeable, meaning that usually if ppl are honest with themselves they usually find 2-3 songs from every artist that they love and will listen even in 10 years with the same smile, but robbie? naah... even if you dont particularly like him or his eccentricity, you can find at least half a dozen of his songs to obsess about
This played in the car on the way home after my very first parents' evening almost eight years ago. Holy crap that evening will stick in my mind forever.
Can’t believe this was released over a decade ago, this is for me my favourite song from Robbie. Even in 2023 this is still a awesome song. 😄 🏴
True

Indeed. Bodies is so deep and powerful. Like an anthem.

Applause to Every one who contributed in creating of this song and making of the vid !!! Thank you folks for such great production !!!
Could anyone be more perfect and gorgeous than this man.

this song is really good, but lyrics...a little bit disconected
All songs from Robbie are masterpieces! Masterpieces that remind me my pre-teenage and teenage years❤❤❤❤
😊😊 Thanks for your genuine compliment
ı think Bodies is the one of the Robbie's sexiest videos, shaving in the middle of the desert and dancing on the plane crashes.Brilliant
I keep playing this over and over it’s such an amazing song!
Finally Remastered! my favourite song from robbie.
Nostalgia😢
By the way, not sure if this was mentioned before but since it's not on the top comments, the girl on the video was his then girlfriend now(aug 2016) wife Ayda Field.
nothing but a gold digger, they will divorce sooner or later.
Never knew that before. Pretty cool.
Ow what? Somebody(s jealous? She should've chosen you?
Wife
They’re married since 2010 by the way
One of his best songs 😊
I remember when it came out, it was immediately my favorite song!
First time I hear this song. I'm in LOVE ! Playing it in loop
"Jesus didn't die for you" - is a direct reference from an interview with Robbie Williams, it means - "Jesus didn't die for us... to go to war", the great contradiction of the divinity and purpose of a "God" or equivalent. He discusses the Iraq war and the notion of a "Holy War", which is a direct contradiction of the term "Holy" - no war is holy, killing in the name of "God" to justify your purpose to kill others is blasphemous.
+TheNomadicGrammarNazi Not according to each religion, according to the people in the religious beliefs. Nowhere in the bible does it justify crusades. Just because people did it doesn't justify it's purpose nor does it mean it's actual good reason or how it's supposed to be.
+Ace Bluesummers But it is justified in there to stone unfaithful women and people who work on Sundays, not to mention it showcases the alleged son of a fucking God getting so mad at a tree that he ends up cursing it forever. Also, the book does in fact urge people to spread the faith in all corners of the world meaning that if there's a corner that just outright refuses to accept it will you then directly defy what the bible says and just give up on spreading it or just crusade the shit out of them because that leads to Jesus' desired outcome, a unified faith.
I'm saying this all just as a reminder that the book is in fact written by humans, invented by humans, modified by humans during the ages to fit modern customs and it's not the first or the last "holy" book to be worshiped around the world. Have a nice day.
NordicAspect
Yeah that's just not true any more directly it's your opinion on the matter. I am not a religious beliver but to talk about the bible and religion the way you do is actually very ignorant and incredibly arrogant. But I am not going to discuss religion nor am I going to discuss it with you because for all I care; you can believe whatever you want to believe and you can think whatever you want to think.
Cheers!
Ace Bluesummers I respect your wish to disengage but I'm also quite curious what part in what I said is actually 100% false? I mean the bible does say all those things, I've read it. But perhaps you were referring to me applying attitudes and norms from hundreds of years ago to modern day religion and people? If that's the case then I understand but as far as human psyche goes not a lot has changed in a 1000 years all things considered...in my opinion. Cheers to you too and have a pleasant day.
And still. Ignorants are gonna be ignorants. Robbie critisizes the watchers who say "Jez died for me" but do shit all the time. So he says, For you - hypocrite - Jez didn't die.
I missed this song! Perf walk 💙
Very underrated song
Love it
I have always loved this song..
Good song from an excellent album
"Reality killed the video star" - an album that contains beautiful songs, a very nice job from Robbie - so atmospheric music and again underrated !!
Nice job from Trevor Horn mainly.
It’s a crime that the track “Starstruck” was not released as a single.
This song makes me hit nostalgia so hard.. beautiful song love Robbie Williams ❤️💯
Is this the most badass human being to ever exist?? YOU GUYS????
I remember when I first heard this song. I had chills all over my spine, it then spread to my whole body. It's 2022 now and I still got the same incredible feelings while listening to it. What a fucking masterpiece.
You can say that again. It going to be the best you can imagine
Heard it today in the car on the radio. Haven't heard it for at least 10 years. Great song.
This one was a lot like Angels.
Some music videos are all about the meaning, and they're beautiful.
Some others are just about how damn cool the singer is.
And they're also beautiful.
What a masterpiece it was
one of the best robbie williams songs!!
This is a part of my childhood 😍😊
Best thing that ever happened to himxx❤
Also I LOVE his swag at 3:18 / 3:19, and 3:30 ish. I think it's part of why he's so likeable oddly.
yeah that Robbie, i think it has somthing to do with the way he performs, it is so entertaining and a bit sleazy but he brings it in a funny way, what do you think?
also this song is it about religion or self image?
badasschick Yeah, I agree. He has that cocky image, but he's funny with it. He's very charismatic! I have no idea what this song is all about, in all honesty, and Robbie himself has said he doesn't know what he was on about, and he was high when he wrote it.
hahaha that explains a lot but don't come as a surpice.
One of my favourite songs by Robbie
He Onboard... Your other favorites. Please share.
