omg laura what the heck
Its only coming through waves for me
i wonder if that's true with other things, excuse me while i go hit random things with headphones to see if it makes any difference

This song is so *intimate.* Not specifically sexually, tho that is definitely there, but there’s a touch of something i cant describe. It’s amazing
It's personal. The lyrics are wanting to know this person's vulnerability, their raw emotions and their passion. They don't care about the person's past, only about who they are now
You just described how i feel when i listen to muse

This song is one one of the best songs I've ever heard lyrically and musically at the same time. It works so well. I cry almost every time I hear it. Truly art in its purest form. I hope to see them live someday.
If you ever have the chance to see them live, go see them! I've seen them live two times and it was absolutely amazing

I've listened to this song so many times and it still gives me the same feels
***** Oh well, now it's different. I don't like this song: it is so far from Muse typical sound
yes, that song differs a lot from the others but I think that's great that they has been changing all the time from the beginning of their career, they've been trying new things, mixing different genres and because of that every album was so unpredictable, each song so different and unique. I appreciate that because It's a prove, they don't make music for fame of money but they do it because they love it and it's the way of expression. They're not afraid of what people will think.
The whispering voice during the 2nd verse in the right headphone (1:23) is always giving me chills. Damn that's good ! Also the backing vocals from the last chorus as well.
Yes!! Matt's ahhhhhh's in the last chorus ... chills!
Damn I never noticed that

Muse - Reminding every modern rock band that you don't have to play the same type of stuff all the time - Since 1994.
Ehh, radiohead expressed that better.
Muse is great, but a lot of Bands are doing other stuff than they did 20 years ago
Lenny K. I'm not sure what you're saying here. You do realise that Muse has been around for 20 years right?
Nate Hamon
I just said, that there are a lot of bands who are doing different music than they did 20 years ago. Muse is not the only one.
Lenny K. Yeah man. That's true. I believe the original statement though was pointing at modern rock bands who are fairly generic and formulaic in their approach.
I blame 'Hit Song Science'! haha

“Undisclosed Desires” by Muse appears to be about a person wanting someone to put down their emotional guard a little to show their uninhibited side. I also like that the singer mentions about trying to show others that the person he is trying to get to be more of themselves is more than what they may appear to be on the external physical appearance side.
Thank you for this pieces of info !! ~♡
Exactly true. Fucking great song.
…. Relatable rn
It's a love song plain and simple
It’s either that or it’s a sex song. Why not both actually?
He’s a fucking brilliant lyricist... that hook is really something else... Am I the only one that thinks this?
The wordplay, the ambiance of the song, the entirety of this album is nothing short of a masterpiece. Even when compared against songs/albums of this day and age.
Muse is just amazing.
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the gift that is muse.
If I'd have to describe sensuality as a song, it'd definitely have to be this one. The instruments and Matt's voice make such a dirty combination that it's practically an addiction
I know! And it's not like violent or aggressive like a lot of other songs about sexuality. Just pure caring and emotion.
This should be more popular than Despacito

I want to recognize your beauty is not just a mask
I want to exorcise the demons from your past
I want to satisfy the undisclosed desires in your heart

You may be a sinner
But your innocence is mine

@@oONodokaOo you worded that perfectly!!

You are not the only one.
Having a deep appreciation for music, I have long known that what I wish to listen to is driven by my mood. In the right mood, I can enjoy opera, classical, pop, alternative, heavy metal, country, etc.. But there has always been a special list of artists I can enjoy in virtually any mood. Pink Floyd has always been on the top of that list. But, I am discovering Muse has joined that list. Matt Bellamy's voice can send electricity down my spine. I do not know how I missed it for so many years, but I can spend hours listening to them.
Welcome to the club, friend 🤍

Muse is one of my favorite bands of all time..I remember this song came out when I was just 17yr old and i loved it back then, and I am now 29 and I love it even more..And song lyrics are so close to my heart now.

The bass in the chorus, mixed with the robot vocals are fucking great
Remember when everyone hated this song because it didn't sound like Muse's older stuff? Ah, the good old days :')
Now everyone hates Something Human and another songs
People hated this song?
Same with Thought Contagion :’)
It’s like they said, they’d release an album and people hate it but years later they love it. Muse is simply ahead of its time and we love them for that 😍
Because apparently it's very edgy to whine like a bitch about everything being better in the past
Get Up and Fight and Thought Contagion will be classics within a few years
This song is going to age like wine, it was good when it came out, its better in the present, and in the future it'll be magnificent
Yup, I can in fact confirm that this is still great in 2024
This song has one of the most beautiful lyrics that exist...
opinion
I remember when this album came out. I was so pissed off. Muse was the only pop band I kept listening when I started listening to rock and metal and felt like the rest of pop music was worthless. I was still young and learning, I felt I had to be a "true" metal fan because it was the best genre to listen to. I was missing on everything good with no criteria, starting to mature musically, but Muse had this electric guitars that still made me crazy. It was hard for me listening to them playing pop without a little touch of metal or rock. I felt betrayed and disappointed, but then I listened to the album another time, and then another, and I kept listening and discovering how rich and powerful different styles of music can be in the right place and moment. Muse and Queen taught me not to close my mind to one genre, and even though they're often compared I don't find them so similar, the only similarity is that they are both really special bands that trascend genre etiquettes, with really great musicians. Now I listen to everything I can, I try to sing and play every genre I can so I can have music in my mind for every time and place. I feel blessed with music, and this song played a big part on that.
Tomás Outsider POP band? They're rock, man.
Hmmm.... Nope. They've rock but mostly... This is pop
Tomás Outsider Yeah this is POP but they experiment with a lot of genres, I presume that's why they're so successful.
Tomás Outsider This could be defined as pop-rock, but they're literally a prog-rock band, not a pop band. Give them some leeway, they're trying to advance the genre.
Nah. Whatever. What's good it's good, no matter what genre
I have no idea why, but I have always been into different strange music. Not that this is strange but it’s very much different. Almost mysterious. I can’t even begin to describe how much I like this song. So many of Muse’s songs are just so good. One if my favorite bands
Cuz you’re different 🖤
If u want more songs with this dreamy mysterious vibe maybe you'll like in your dreams by the Maria's too? It's more fluffy sounding not as dark tho but still gives tht gloating feeling this song gives
it's not different or strange, just high quality electronic rock. Depeche mode and others came before and were mainstream at one point
