It’s insane! Such scary photos. Apparently people were gathering across the lake taking photos and stuff. So wild.

I don’t know if you are using paint specifically for laminate cabinets but that’s what you need. Otherwise it will not hold. We learned the hard way.

I used a heavy duty primer on everything before, so it should stick just fine! I also ordered the scratch proof behr paint. So I feel pretty confident it’ll be fine. But I’ll be back at the beach house in May, so I can give an update!

You've done a great job on the renovations, so far! Have you seen the movie "The Money Pit" with Tom Hanks (it's an 80's flick)? That's MY living situation. I always just want to paint but my husband is the Good Idea Fairy and decides EVERYTHING must be removed (rooms go down to studs!) and be built back up. Sadly, when he does that, he finds SO many things wrong (wiring, subflooring, pipes) and it gets fixed very slowly. Anyhoo... I can't wait to see more of your renovations! Good luck!

I haven’t seen it. That’s so wild! But also good that he finds all the issues and fixes it. My house needs that!

Hi Girls! What a great job! Where'd you purchase those ceiling tiles? I'm really liking them, oddly enuf?!
Keep up the great work! I hafta redo, renovate, rescue my little rental farm. Needing some inexpensive, repurpose where possible, high end finishes that I can attempt on my own? Lead the way Ladies...
