I really enjoyed this video because it shows the side of home owning that isnt really talked about bc it isnt the glamorous and aesthetic side. It does absolutely inspire me, but im a military wife and probably wont own my own home for a while yet, but i enjoy living vicariously theough you. 😅

I just discovered your channel today and it is awesome! I would be super interested in a video where you went a little more into your decision to do Airbnb (did you do it to make money or was it primarily so that you could spend time in multiple places and this just helps cover the cost of that), the costs of everything, if it covers the cost of your mortgage/if it is a source of income over the mortgage amount, if you just have this one and the Florida one, etc. I know since this is a DIY channel, it would be a little different than your usual, so maybe you could even just talk about it while you're working on a project! I think it is a lot of DIYer's dreams to have an airbnb that we make look amazing with all our DIY projects! and I think a lot of people don't think women can be as finance savvy, so it would be nice to see you modeling how to do it!

So kind of you to say all of these nice things! My Airbnb videos don’t get a lot of views so I’ll give you a small amount of info here: I only rent out my Louisiana cottage to help offset costs because I like to travel. It gets hot as hades here and I don’t like being here for the summer! Sometimes it’ll cover my costs in the summer, but not often. Honestly, my Louisiana cottage is not a great financial decision as a single income household, but I really love working on it and hopefully one day RUclips can help offset some costs so I can do more renovations/additions. My house in Florida is a classic airbnb, I use it 3-4 times a year for vacation and rent it out otherwise. I would also love if I could get some sponsorships and do a lot more tailored renovations on that property! But as I said, it’s just me. No one else on my mortgage loans, no one else helped me with down payments. But I have a million fun ideas I would love to implement on both properties!

The before/after of your fantastic bay window was very satisfying. I hate washing windows because they're all too high for me (I'm under 5'). I put away my Dia de los Muertos altar pieces while you cleaned. Thanks for the encouragement 🤘🤘

They do make crystal clear chair leg covers. Ours are very clear and they have red felt bottoms, but I bet they have other colors. It's out there! And I got them, not bc of antique wood floors, but bc every time my kids pulled out dining chairs it was like nails on a chalkboard. They've stayed on great and work well.

Just popped over to Amazon and searched "clear large chair leg protector" and tons of clear ones come up. They also have square pad ones as well since that particular chair has square legs. The ones I found were easily under $20 and since they're stretchy, they'll fit lots of chairs. Makes moving furniture around super easy and would definitely help prevent floor scratches.

I have the window squeeze thing and atter doing them I just lay a dry towel over the sponge part and dry them ,that will get rid of any leftover streaks!

Thank you for the tip! I’ll try that next time! ☺️
