Folks, meet Daniela Andrade - a Canadian singer / songwriter that has already built a large following, thanks to her exceptionally beautiful voice and creative arrangements. She happened to be in LA the other week, and stopped by help us create an incredibly haunting version of the Guns 'n' Roses classic, "Welcome To The Jungle," also featuring the incredible Lara Somogyi on harp. We are making fun of Axl Rose and Guns and Roses as a live act. When GnR hit it big, the bad was often hours late to its own shows, members were obviously drunk or high and Axl would just walk off stage in the middle of the concert and not return.

Guns N' Roses 1987 album "Appetite for Destruction" was the first CD I ever purchased with my own money. I bought it used from a real life brick and mortar music shop (remember those?) in Homestead, FL which no longer exists.
This cover is amazing, and makes me feel like my 13 year old self again, only with WAY more class and sophistication. Postmodern Jukebox can do that to you!

I really had no idea what the lyrics for this song actually were beyond " Weeehlcome to the juuuungle we got fun and gaaaaames!!". Dark song, and well written...but those words go so much better with this beautiful composition IMO.
