You are absolutely right the sauce is the bomb!!! I did this last night and my family kept coming back for more! I also did your Vegan Bulgogi recipe and it was soooo good! This is such an easy recipe perfect for beginners like me. So thank you Seongkyeong for a wonderful, easy recipe. My 4-yr-old said "Thank you Mommy for cooking my food" so I feel like a superhero after feeding them lol.. Big thanks to you! Much love from our family to yours! ❤️❤️❤️
Awwwwwwww your comment melted my heart!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ OMG, it is everything to me.. Thank you so much for sharing your story with me, my husband and stepdaughter read your comment also and we all touched by every single words.. Love you!! ❤️
My daughters and grandchildren are all in Seoul right now, enjoying the food so much, especially at the night markets! Your recipes never fail, keep up the great work!!
I made this two nights ago and it was a hit! The only thing I changed was dusting them in some cornstarch and baking them not broil them. they were super juicy and crispy and the sauce was amazinggg!
hi! I know I'm an entire year late with this reply lol but I baked them in a preheated 350 degree oven for approx 30 mins flipping them over at 15 mins
i made this today and it was very good! I just made some adjustment like 1 tbsp of sesame oil instead of 2 and instead of 2 tsp cornstarch i used 1 because its clumping.. Thanks for sharing your recipe!😊
This recipe was a hit! Also the sticky garlic wings at the Super Bowl party was the bomb! Thank you Seon! You're one of the Greatest Of All Time cooks! Aloha!
Thank you so much for such an important information you talk about... since long time I was looking for like how can I avoid alcohol in my cooking....u have just solved my problem...❤️❤️🤗
I’m one of those people who looks at the comments to see if anyone tried it and I didn’t see many people try and review so I’m going to help those future people like me lol it’s really good . I used the milk instead of wine and added soy sauce . I also heated my sesame sauce.
Finally made this and it turned out HELLA bomb! Very simple dish to make. I used drumsticks instead, since that’s all I had. Thank you for the recipe, you’re awesome!
I tried this recipe a few days ago, I did coat the chicken in corn starch before putting it in the oven and it made it extra crispy! but omg this taste soooo good! Thank you! I will definitely be making again! 😊
look so yummy. I will try it definitely. By the way I always use this technique to cook my chicken because it's healthier, however, I use a mediaterranean dipping sauce made of lemon zest, lemon juice, barcely, coriander, olive oil, some garlic and salt and pepper. Try it and you will love it
I did it!!!! They were amazing, better than take out. Thank you so much for this easy and delicious recipe 👍 I'm new to your channel, and I am planning to cook and try other recipes. Please keep it coming 😄
I made these, turned out good but minus the sesame oil part. I had to waste one batch of sauce coz of strong aroma of sesame oil. I would add a few drops of oil instead of two spoons. I also added one table spoon vinegar and it tasted yummy. thanks for sharing 😊
Omg you guys are so cuuuute.... New sub here... I was searching for asian chicken and your video popped up im so glad i found you. Now im going to check out your videos time i start cooking something different ive got five hungry boys who would love you asian chicken wings thanks again Seonkyoung
If you want a crispier skin, I would recommend coating the wings in corn starch (ala korean fried chicken), frying it to brown and then shoving it into the oven at 350 for 20 min to finish cooking.
Nobu I agree absolutely , then wings will be so crispier just like Mongolian beef. But many people would love to stay awake from frying. I would definitely take your advice. Thank you
Loved this!!! Sending it to my step mom. I'm sure she will love it too. Goes perfectly with a cold beer 😉 keep up the amazing videos, I love all you do!
Hi Seonkyoung! Can I just say that I'm so thankful that I found your RUclips account? I love Korean dishes so much! I'm planning to make gimbap this weekend to surprise my husband. :)
good morning. I really like your way of cooking and your style in particular. I have never know which vegetable they put in the soup of unton noodles, it has a thick stem and not so long leaves. you could guide me in this. I really like that soup. THANKS
Looks delicious. I like the idea of using the broiler but my wings have always come out too hard and dry using the oven. I hadn't marinated mine. I will try your method and cross my fingers. Thanks for the recipe.
I found you by accident on instagram. i was looking from Maangchi and then your page was recommended. this is my first and only video I've watched so far. AMAZING I love sesame wings. I can't wait to see what else you have on your channel. this recipe made me subscribe to your channel and follow on instagram 🤗🖒❤ #nonnonnommy 😍🍗🍗
She has the most flavorful recipes! If you like Korean food you should look for her jajjangmeong recipe(I don't know how to spell it correctly). Her recipe is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! My family loves it!
I enjoy your videos and recipes, with four kids its hard to get out and eat a good meal at a decent price since i have made your recipes i get my 2older picky kids to also eat and they love the orange chicken and egg rolls which is rare for them but they loved the smell the house had while i cooked. There is a house fish fillet meal we always try to go eat they put fried garlic bits and jalapenos on top i hope to see if you can create a fried fish fillet
I love your dishes seonkyoung!! We just bought a dark sesame oil today, first time we try to use sesame oil in our cooking. and man... DELICIOUS!!!!! i will try this recipe. Another question, does your husband like Metal music? such as Lamb of God? His shirt looks like something they would make! =)
Like promised lately when I commemted on your mail about your story: my crispy chicken wings: this sesame sauce IS a bomb! But I'm using it as a dip. For crispyness: I'm gonna double deep fry. And I'm using corn starch. Like this: Heat up your deep fryer to 300° F. Put 4 tablespoons of corn starch put into a zip-lock bag. For extra crunch add 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs. Dry your marinated wings like shown and flip them around in the bag. Shake off access starch. It should only make a very thin coating. (Flour will not turn out that crispy.) Deep fry your wings until done. 8 minutes is fine here, so called "buffalo wings" in the US might take longer. Make sure your wings are done when you take them out and put 'em on paper cloth to drain access oil. If you don't have a deep fryer, you can baked 'em as shown, but I would put them on a roast with a pan underit to allow access fat to driple down. 2nd step is to deep fry them at 370°F. If you don't have a deep fryer, you can do this in a (perferably non-coated) pot, where you heat up your oil to really high heat. Now you put in those wings for only about 2 minutes. Just until they are golden brown. Remember: they are done already. This is just for a crispy sensation about them (and looks ;) I'm experimenting much with chicken wings these days. Endless fun! Marinating is a big deal when you use a simple dip afterwards made of only soy sauce with ginger and garlic. Simple black bean sauce is a hit. I will also try your marinade for the BBQ on this. As marinade and dip, afterwards. Thank you so much for all this inspiration, Seonkyoung: I'll gladly report my results. You're right: It's about love, sharing and caring. About making people happy.
I’m from the uk and I’m glad I found this video 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

°C or °F?
350 degrees Celcius would be over 600 degrees Fahrenheit, so unless you have a furnace in the kitchen I think that'll be Celcius :D
Martin Burton You mean Fahrenheit.
Nobu I agree absolutely , then wings will be so crispier just like Mongolian beef. But many people would love to stay awake from frying. I would definitely take your advice. Thank you
At first I was like "no don't serve a beer like that!" (I'm Belgian) Anyways, chicken looks delicious!! Can't wait to try this recipe 😛
