Sensitive and graceful playing that gets the spirit of the Trees successfully especially The Birch(Björken) which is played briskly boldly and feels as thrilling as watching trees in wind in Finland.
När rönnen blommar (When the Rowan Blossoms) 0:03 Den ensamma furan (The Lonely Fir) 1:59 Aspen (The Aspen) 4:45 Björken (The Birch) 7:30 Granen (The Spruce/Sapin) 9:22
This is quite a representative presentation of the Trees, but the acoustics of the room (or the recording) makes some detail-rich parts a bit messy, especially in The Birch. The pedal changes in The Lonely Fir are also a bit late at times. The beginning of The Birch is played at an unnecessarily fast tempo (regarding the acoustics especially so), which anyhow is slowed down at the "misterioso". The Spruce is one of the better renditions on the tube, but there is an error in the "storm" part ("risoluto"), as the fifth and sixth chords have the bass notes g and f sharp, while they should be a (under a B major chord) and g (under a E minor chord) respectively. I have no idea where this frequently occurring error is originated from. I still miss the accents on the chords in the second section (at 10:19, 10:27 and similarly at 10:55 and 11:03), something most pianists seem to ignore, but an important dramatic detail.
シベリウスは、内省的で深遠な作曲家で、とても好きです。ありがとうございました。

Deep impression was reaching my soul . 🍎
Perhaps the trees around the house of Sibelius, Ainola?
Sehr tief und ernst empfundene Interpretation. Schade dass der Raum stark hallt.
