Using the trimmer line down the sunroof drain hole allowed me to locate the end of the disconnected tube and then the near-by boot, both of which I was unable to see otherwise. No other video I watched used that technique to determine the end point of the disconnected drain tube. I think I should be able to mend and reconnect the tuber parts now without disconnecting all of the fuses. Thanks!
Hello sir, I had the same issue on my driver side 1:46. I'm a big guy myself and it was a pain in the ass to get in there(basically had to put the seat all the way back and lay it all the way back as well and somehow wiggle my way under the car head first). I was able to fix it and test it, but noticed that my passenger carpet(behind the driver) was also wet, but not as much as driver side. Could this has been the issue or are there also drain tubes that goes through the the rear tires?
@@jessisoto7110 that I do not know. I believe there are only two up front and the passenger side is as hard to do as the driver side. I am not gonna lie I just do not know.
Thank you so much. I finally managed to find where the water was leaking. I almost remove my headliner to investigate that. But it just nedded a 15min quick fix ❤
Another video believes the hose shrinks over time. It looks like the removal of the inner A-pillar trim may not have to be done. I like the splice and fit with the connections.
Please excuse my questioning, if I am understanding you, you are saying the tracks for the sunroof is broken? If so you will have to replace the sunroof itself.
THANK YOU. You saved me hours and probably $1,500 at the dealer. Your video is exactly what happened to my 2001 Accord.
That’s awesome my friend I am glad it was able to help you!
Great video, thank you.

Your welcome and thank you for taking your time to watch this video. Have a blessed day!
Best explanation I’ve found! Thank you so much for your video.
This was a very good video and I have watched several of these sunroof leak repair videos 👍
Best fix ive seen. Thanks.

What is the part that creates the channel that is screwed in. Working on my sons car and that piece is broken in both sides
Help me out a little. Are you asking up top where the roof is? If so, that is all part of the sunroof assembly.
Yes on top of the sunroof the black pieces that are screwed into the track are broken.

Can you do the other side?….it a Nightmare!!!!
You may be in luck. I have that same car here for another issue. I will see if I can shoot you a video in the next couple days if time allows
Legend
Its the same for passenger side ?
Yes it should be the same
If one is disconnected then your probably going to find that all 4 are. They shrink over time and come loose. Or at least this is what I have found.
