I love that you clipped the extensions in the hair rather than right in the root. At first I thought it was just weird but I tried it and it's so comfortable! You changed my extension and comfort game! Thank you so much for another fabulous video!

I remember when I was little, I wanted long hair so bad and my mom was a hairdresser so she was the one who cut my hair and I remember asking her to "cut my hair long" because I really wanted long hair, and I remember throwing a fit because she couldnt "cut my hair long" LOL

Another tip to hide your extensions better, is to dye the roots in the color of your own roots i always do that and its a lot more invisible, its really a must i think iff you wear extensions, or you can buy rooted and ombre extensions in your color, teasing is another option yes , following you from the beginning love your vids i always watch them always good tips loves xoxo Silvia.
With her being a professional, I am surprised that she didn't mention that or follow that practice since her own roots are so dark!

I have the flat clip ins where the clip part is the same color as the hair. But, I have some low lights with a shadow root. So I took some root cover up and sprayed that band part and brought the spray down about a quarter inch from the band so it blends better. I use two 3 clefts and two one clefts on the sides.

Do you have any advice for super fine thin hair?
I have always wanted to try extensions...but my hair is baby fine and there is not a lot of it. I also have oily hair....dry shampoo just makes my hair look dirty....I would love to get some volume with extensions😊

Strongly do not recommend hair clip extensions if you have thinning hair or very fine/thin hair, unless your planning on only wearing them on special occasions

Hello, I just found your page and I have questions about Hair Extensions I do wear clippings do you know anything about tape and extensions or hand sewn extensions in which one is better for your hair? Clippings are something I just put in before going to dinner but I want something as a more permanent situationand I’m having some confusion to which one is better for my hair!? Ty!
I made a wig with a bundle and half(26") and a 20" 4x4 closure. Normally people would use 4 bundles, but I use less for a natural look. I spaced the wefts 2 inches apart. Could I tease the hair to hide the tracks from showing?
I have a question my natural hair usually stops at my shoulders and doesn't grow at all after that. I have tried clip in extensions and they are a pain... I was thinking of tape in extensions but don't know where to apply them and how to blend it in to my natural hair i want really long hair. I'm a hairdresser too.. I just have never tried tape in before. So I'm tried to get all of the information before I get them... I just need help on them. And suggestions would be great.
maybe the contrasting colour of ur hair and the extension plays a role? it wouldnt b so bad in the colours matched

have you ever tried dying your extension's roots to the same color as your roots, i recently did that and it hides your extensions so much better!!!
Yes of course that is the best way, but I was asked to show hiding ones that were a little more difficult to hide :) thanks for watching
ellebangs -- Will you show us how to dye roots into extensions? I've tried before and they turned from a #613 color to a muddy ugly color.

Your natural hair color and style is perfect. You dont need those at all you are gorgeous with medium feathery hair

have you ever tried the halo they are the ones with the band around the hair and you put them on your hair and around they look so beautiful and they're so easy you can just pop them on .them right off

My hair is a pixie bob but wear a full head of extensions that look super natural because my hair is so dense. I am lucky I can go 1 inch from where my part is and tease the extension for volume. Complete look change haha. But I have to say your balayage in this video is stunning!!! The melt is perfect
The best way of hiding extensions is adding roots like your own hair then you dont need to do so much teasing

I have a really bad cowlick at the back of my head I’ve tried to back comb the cow lick then put the clip on in it didn’t work so I don’t put the extension there up high on the left hand side anymore instead I lower the extension.
I will try back brushing instead of back combing Thankyou for teaching me

I just started wearing clip in extensions,ive worn halos before, i just don't want to tease my hair at allots already fine, one way I seen that I like is TWISTING the hair wear your gonna put the clip on, but mine stay fine without any of that, my issue is hiding the clips that end up in the back of my head, my hair is blonde an thing have to keep messing with them

I wish I would've known about you when I sill lived in SF....(who am I kidding, I wish I never left SF!! But I digress....:( ...I love your videos. Two quick questions (I hope you can answer): I bought some extensions that arrived much more golden toned and warm/orangey or brassy tone than I want. They are supposed to be 100% human hair so my question is - can I bleach them to lift the gold out and reach a more ash tone/ light blonde that will match my own hair? I want to do low-lights too, (like about a level 6 or so) not sure if I should do it in two steps or a foil weave all at once...but not as worried about that. Any suggestions you have are greatly appreciated. Also - on a totally separate subject - what eye shadows (company/shade) are you wearing ? I love it! Thx!
Heidi Svenson hey from experience don't bleach extensions use purple shampoo instead it will tone them
Yes to pull out the brassy and lift 1 - shades. Use a 20 vol developer and Wella T18. Make sure to use foil or use a hair dryer to warm them up while it processes
Great tips! Question:Do you think clip in's can eventually tug and make your hair follicle loose to the point of falling out? Meaning over time can it thin out your hair.
alexandra martin I think these are really bad for your hair personally! I've worn this brand for the past few years but my hair seems to be getting thinner and refuses to grow ...I was hoping just to wear these until my hair grew back out...but looks like I'm a "lifer" lol

Do you have any tips for reviving old extensions ... Making them soft again? Etc
+C.C D washing them witha nice shampoo and finishing with a very hydrating conditioner. Also blow them out and use a flat iron or curling iron. They should feel like brand new for sure!!

great video! Can you do one on the other type of extensions that go on with a fishline kinda headband? I got pulled in to buy one of these extensions in Vegas last May.. I find it's maybe set to high and so heavy and hot especially in the summer, yet so beautiful and cost $150!!

So.. i have short layered hair.high light low light. Very fine hair but a decent amount of hair. Id say its thin ti med thickness o. Amount of hair. HOW do you know you have enough wefts in? Bcuz wearing all of them on my small head is 1.hot 2. Hqrd to hide the clips becuz i have no thick hair. I am prqcticing. But idk how many to use!!!! Idk some videos use like 3 or 4. Other videos use. 2 pqcks of wefts. Of sets.a ton in their hair. Tbis is my 3rd attempt. I suck at fake. And just dint know. But after i bqck comb to blend you can. Still see the clips all over my head. I m thinking do t use as mqny and make the parts a bit farther apart so my hair has enuff to clip the hair on. But i still dk how many to use. I have 2 pieces left. But my clips allll show in the back . Idk what to Do .if Any one could help. ID JUST LOVE U FOREVER. THANK YOU💜💜💜💜

if you get extentions that MATCH your hair color, your accidental 'shows' won't reveal anything! I'm not trying to sound mean, but I have VERY thin, fine hair and I wear TWENTY tape-ins at 110g. They're carefully taped in brick layering pattern allowing me to safely wear high ponytails or headbands. I've done this since 2009 and LOVE it! I get mine from 'The Hair Shoppe' in surgery Seattle or California. I order two colors and they ship it express and are incredibly helpful. When pricing, pay attention to comparing not only the cost, but the weight as well.if your buying 10 weft for only $50,but they're only 25g, you'll end up with more tape and less hair. Mine are $15/weft at 110g! I have yet to find a distributor or company who carries comparable weight or better.
If you know of one, please let me know. Obviously, it MUST be human REMY hair that's NOT asian.

Me too, I watch all these videos but my hair is so thin, texture is very fine, I cant see how my real hair could hide the clip in, or tape ins.
Try using a fiber building powder like Toppik to your root area, really helps!

This was very helpful! I've been looking for a video like this forever! I wear extensions everyday and they don't show but with the wind and my hair moving I never have piece of mind unless I wear a halfup style or something with Bobby pins. I will have to try this! Do you think teasing your hair this way will cause a lot of damage?

Come on people don't clip you're hair extensions that far from the roots 🚫 little bit of wind and they will show! She probably thinks it doesn't because it's at the back of her head and she can't see during the day. If you've been wearing hair extensions then you know this is the worst tip ever.

u can see the first weft u put because the blonde don't match the roots, ur roots r dark so it stands out.

Get a topper extension. its a 1 piece extension that covers ur whole head and much less work to put it in. they are expensive tho, its like a half wig sort of
