I’ve never written a RUclips comment before, but I feel like I have to now. I have the exact same hair type as you, and I've struggled with accepting it for a very long time. I've seen countless doctors, tried numerous products, vitamins, and treatments, but unfortunately, the issue is genetic, and there's not much I can do about it. It's strange how something that seems minor can have such a significant impact on your confidence and, in turn, your daily life. A few years ago, I started searching for videos on RUclips to see how others were dealing with this issue, and surprisingly, there weren’t many resources out there. That’s when I discovered your channel. 💕 Back then, you only had about 1k subscribers. I quickly realized that we have a lot in common-same age, style, and even introverted personalities. 😊 I started following your videos, and I think I’ve watched every single one since then. I want to thank you for creating these videos, especially the ones about hair. They've helped me a lot, not just with learning tips and tricks, but in understanding that I’m not alone in this. Thank you for being on RUclips! ❤❤
@@chloy1992 hearing things like this is exactly why I have this channel and keeps me going, for the girls like you! Thank you for commenting 💗 I’m so glad we can connect as we’re all just girls going through the same things! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
You are a blessing, I cry everyday over my fine thin , strings of hair. Actually I was talking about you to my stylist, how I could just imagine the elation in your heart as you walked down the street in New York after getting your hair extensions and then the deep sadness letting them go after 3 months. Unless you have this hair you do not realize the daily torch face each day trying to make something out the nothing hair we have. I think I’m going to buy some clip ons from Amazon so I can practice, wow yours looked great and I could see your confidence rise!!! Pray I find my confidence one day!❤
I have to agree with you in a general sense and meaning, Taylor is a blessing. For so many reasons. She is a nice soul and she is such a lovely being. It is heartwarming to watch and listen to someone with an agenda to help others and make our days a little bit brighter. Thank you, Taylor! You rock!
I have very thin and fine hair too but I don't wear extensions. That being said I really appreciate you sharing what you've learned about placing extensions in thin and fine hair. Our hair type definitely doesn't get represented enough. Thank you! ❤ 🤗
THANK YOU for sharing this with your subscribers. I appreciate your vulnerability to opening up and sharing tips with others. I too wear hair extensions and I have no shame in my game of doing whatever it takes to feel my best. Keep the great tips coming :)
I have fine thin hair and am SO self-conscious about it. I just bought some clip in and am so excited to try these ideas. Thank you so much! I absolutely love how genuine you are! 🥰
As others have said on here, Finally a girl doing one of these videos for fine/thin hair who actually has fine/thin hair, my hair is exactly the same as yours, always has been, genetically I take after my mother who too had super fine/thin hair, Its gotten me down most of my life, I tend to use the clip in ponytail over my own teeny pony which gives me a confidence boost, I also use hair fibres sometimes as it definitely makes a difference to my scalp area which is otherwise noticeable. going to try the ponytail trick you showed definitely as even though i like wearing my clip in pony, if can feel a bit heavy,
Pulling your hair up and away from your face causes lots of breakage too…. Specifically in the front! This was a very informative video! Thank you! I have a problem with hair loss due to hormones and a very long hospital stay where they didn’t take very good care of my hair while I was in a coma…. All better now! ❤️
Make your own halo!! I just did and wish I had thought to do it years ago. The normal halos are waaay too much hair, my hair is like yours. Last month when the clip ins were driving me nuts I saw the halo ones and thought it looked more comfortable but I couldn’t find any very thin ones. I took old extensions and added some clear very thin fishing wire and put them together and wow! So comfortable, zero pressure or stress on it natural hair, harder to see, game changer. You could also get weft hair from the hair shop and have your stylist help you make them. I have very similar hair and want to be able to wear extensions as much as I can. Obviously even clip ins can be damaging, uncomfortable, made me paranoid they were showing. If i wore them for more than a few hours the tugging would hurt my scalp in places. I sometimes will add one of the two clip clip ins right in the front but I don’t really need to.
Taylor, you are amazing and I so appreciate you and your courage to make this video! I have had fine hair all my life and as I have gotten older it has thinned out quite a bit as well. I have been on youtube searching for others like me for suggestions, tricks, and how to's on how to put in extensions that I recently purchased without them showing. The struggle is real for us thin and fine haired gals. Thank you, thank you thank you!
My three sisters and i all have fine hair in the front of our hairline. It makes hairstyling and cutting tricky in those areas. Anyway, I was so excited for you when you said “Yay!” about your ponytail. Haha. You seem like a joy to be around. Very sweet and kind. I’m browsing how to blend a bob with extensions and I found your video. Thanks for the tips. Unconventional but smart.
Just came here to say you are beautiful with your fine hair! I know it’s hard bc/we see models with tons of long thick hair as the standard, but honestly, you can rock the hair God gave you! Not to say you shouldn’t have fun with extensions if you want to, but you are a beauty wo/them!!
What a wonderful video! Thank you, you have given me hope 😊. My hair is exactly the same as yours and it was so inspirational to watch you enhancing your hair. Thank you
Thank you for sharing! I have thin hair too, but you always look so beautiful and elegant. You don't even need thicker hair! You always look beautiful no matter what!
I have always had such thick hair but menopause and surgeries have left my hair so thin my scalp shines through. 😢. I have thought about toppers, but since I wear my white hair up, that didn’t seem possible pulling the topper up from the sides. NEVER did I think of extensions until last night when an ad popped up! Today I decided to look into extensions and there you were! Thank you for your oh-so-helpful tips! God bless you girl!❤😊. Oh and I subscribed to your channel. 😉
Love your energy! My hair really started thinning/falling out after I got covid and it ruined my confidence. I am definitely going to try all these styles.
I can't thank you enough for sharing these tips with those of us that have fine thin hair and you would be shocked if you knew how many of us there really are. We just usually try to hide it and not bring attention to ourselves which is a shame. So I appreciate everything you do to help us be out there and be ourselves and be real with confidence. Thank you so much I absolutely love your channel well you are beautiful and genuinely authentic and so helpful. I always feel better about myself after I watch one of your videos. Fine hair sister!
Thank you so much for making this video and this series of videos about your hair. I have hair that looks exactly like yours and have never seen anyone else talk about it. It makes me feel seen and understood and is also so informative. 💜 I’ve been afraid to try extensions of any kind (including clip ins) after a horrible experience a decade ago with beaded extensions where all my hair essentially fell out over 6 months but this makes me want to! Similar to you, I’ve lost even more of my previous few strands in my early 30s. I’ve finally gotten so desperate that I’ve stopped getting highlights after 20 years (so sad about losing my bright blonde). I’ve done this gradually over 6 months or so and I will say I’ve noticed my hair is not breaking as much so maybe worth it. We’ll see! I told myself I’d give it a year. I’ve been seriously considering wigs - especially after seeing Shani Wigs on TikTok. I’d love to know if you’ve ever considered wigs and what that’s been like for you. Thank you so much again for everything you are putting out for all of us 💜
You are adorable! Have you tried halo extensions? Also, try putting your hair in small pin curls all over and clipping the extensions to them, or just secure a larger area with Bobby pins and then clip them. I’m thinking about trying this!
Taylor, you are absolutely precious and thanks for being so honest and for sharing these tips for girls with fine hair. I have fine hair but mine is curly! Love your channel! 😘
Wow :) thank you so much for making this video. similarly to you , I have genetically thin hair. Most days I don't have enough to cover my scalp. I'm also recovering from postpartum hair loss which adds more pain to the mix. Taylor, have you tried Red light therapy? I've been using the helmet red light therapy from IRestore for the last 3 months and seeing a lot of baby hair coming in. Of course it'll take 6-8 month to really assess the results. But my husband confirmed that the baby hair in the front is super visible so much so that he also started using it as well :) Anyone else with this hair tried red light therapy ?
You are so sweet. ive never made a comment before but this was heartwarming. My thin straight hair looks just like yours and i havent dared buying extensions cause of fear of them showing. This really helps. THANK YOU!
I too have very fine tin hair so I always have it tied back. I do use a volume mousse and that seems to make it feel thicker and when I use dry shampoo spray it really feels and looks thicker.
I recently came across a "short ' video for # hairline toppers by Milano wigs. And looks SO natural, for when you wanna wear your hair down because it gives you excellent coverage in the front part. It's very easy to put on, because it's the halo kind, that you secure behind your ears and sits at bottom of your skull bone. It's for fine and thin hair!!😊
I took a look at the Halo extensions as recommended by one of your viewers and wow, they look awesome and you don't have to tease the hair to put them in, which would be much better for your hair. I found a video jess hallock and she shows how easy they are to put in and apparently sells them remote from AZ, just send in pics and remote consult. Super interesting.
