    I have thin hair and I can't put extensions above my ears because the clips are so visible. So her hair must be just a bad haircut, but not actually thin.

      +kekella williams Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Yes, it's deff hard to hide hair extensions when you have thin hair. It really helps using dry shampoo in the roots only, that really pumps up the volume of the thin hairs and helps the clips stay in place. She (the model) was really happy with the natural result, which made us very happy. :)

    I would guess her hair is maybe more fine than thin. I have a ton of hair but it is very fine
    so I wear the extensions
    without them I can not do a thing
    no matter how much hairspray I use..my hair will not hold a curl or style.

    Would hair spray work instead of the dry shampoo? I agree with others... her hair is not THAT thin lol. Thanks!

      @Estellessecret  8 лет назад +6

      You can use hairspray if you tease your roots first. That way you'll create a texture for the clips to grip onto. It's great if your hair very slippy and fine. Dry shampoo is used if you don't want to tease your roots. This product helps your roots to stay dry and not oily throughout the day, which in the end helps to keep the clips in place. But keep in mind that using a hair product before you clip them in is really optional. In fact, you don't need to use any products at all. The clips will stay in place anyway... but if your hair is super fine and you want extra security, then using a dry shampoo is a good idea.

    not sure tho, is the dry shampoo optional?

    • @Estellessecret
      @Estellessecret  7 лет назад

      Yes the dry shampoo is optional. Some women tease the hair instead or just clip in the extensions without teasing or using products. It all depends on your hairtype and how you place the clips.

    Are you using human hair or synthetic extensions? Thanks!

      We only use and sell 100% remy human hair. Synthetic hair can't unfortunately be styled with heat tools.

    can clip damage thin hair

    • @Estellessecret
      @Estellessecret  7 лет назад +4

      If you place them correctly and take them out by the end of the day (do not sleep with the extensions) then they're safe to wear in thin hair. Permanent glued in extensions can be more harmful to thin hair.

    Come on people! Sharon it's easy if you have someone else doing it for you. The part is perfectly straight the same with. For the average person this would not be this easy. So next time do a video with that same girl doing her own hair.

      +Carrie Bishop Dear Carrie, Thank you for your input! Clip in extensions are quite easy to use on yourself. There are many tutorials out there showing women applying clip ins. This video is an instructional video, so we chose to use a hairstylist showing the process step by step. Your feedback is written down and we'll make a video with the same girl clipping them in the near future. Have a great day!

      actually clip in hair extensions are very easy. I just place a set of black hair into a coruscation women and her hair was thin and hiding the tracks was a challenge, but it was not hard. I also created clips for my aunt.

      You just clip them on and off. It's just small clips that you open and shut by pressing on them. Hope this explained it

    • @Estellessecret
      @Estellessecret  7 лет назад

      They last 3-12 months, depending on how you treat them. If you treat them well, they'll love you back and last you longer.
