This is so different of a style from a lot of other sim racing videos... and I love it! Loving the intensity portrayed through editing of just the first few moments of the race!
Since rf2 continues to not give a shit about their broken AI, I'm playing more Assetto Corsa than ever before. So many fantastic mods in AC lately RSR-19, Toyota Hypercar etc ..so much fun. Plus the graphics things you can do with AC these days is just unbelievable. The physics in AC always leave a bit to be desired, but it checks all the other boxes for me.
@@richmahogany1710 I'm not sure there is a sim for best overall physics, they all have their quirks. In AC I just don't like the feel and the movement of the cars at low speed corners. And the tire model is a bit simplistic imo. Certainly doesn't stop me from playing though.
Sadly there is no way to save game in assetto Corsa, if it had that it would be perfect! That's the only thing keeping me from doing wec stuff in assetto Corsa.
This is why I love Sim racing. I'm not that good, not very competitive, not even a hardcore viewer of the real world leagues for very long. I just love the immersive world it puts you in, feels and looks so freaking real. The stakes are high and a single mistake cost you the race. Definitely love this type of video focusing on recreating real world events with so much buildup and excitement leading into it

As someone who is keen on experiencing this first-hand, do you plan on ever releasing all the detailed settings (i.e. full video settings, filter settings, csp extension settings, etc.) used in the making of the cockpit view footage?
Hypercar is gonna be amazing in 2023 with Porsche, Ferrari, Audi, Acura, and Peugeot joining Toyota battling for overall win at Le Mans. IMO a few seconds slower than old LMP1 cars doesn’t matter at all if we get great racing with these manufacturers. And easy enough to either speed HC up or slow LMP2 down if the classes are too close.

I think we don’t give enough credit to the LMP2 class. Those cars are FAST. To put it into perspective, they have similar pace to the Peugeot 908 and Audi R18 Ultra. Those are LMP1 cars from 10 years ago
i swear i love ac, it can do everything from 1930s f1 racing to modern say rally. the ai is great, and the only problem i have is the ai is a bit too fast in the straights. what’s not to love? plus if you know where to look, you can make ac look better than real life

in the intro you were talking about the hypercars as if it was a bad thing they're slower than the LMP1s. Just so you know that the hypercars being slower is actually intentional. LMP2 also have gotten changes to make them slower
im affraid to tell you that you used the inferior le mans mod for assetto corsa (as far as i can tell you used the 2017 racedepartment le mans, in my experience (~15000km on the 2017 le mans and 3000km on the fm7 le mans) the forza motorsport 7 le mans conversion is a lot more accurate. the video is still great though
2 hints: - either turn off "Smart Mirror" from CSP completely or turn on "Real Mirrors", otherwise your central monitor "mirror" is broken - drop the radio filter from your voice when you narrate ;-) It's unnecessary. If you did radio messages maybe it'd fit. With narration it's bad.

Reboot Team's Le Mans, despite being a Forza Motorsport 7 conversion, is the actual layout of Le Mans. where you can take Tertre Rouge almost full throttle. the version 2.0 is just the best Le Mans representation there is for the actual layout
one more reason my main sim still is ac is that when i am disappointed from humans at online of acc , i make a race weekend whith ai agressive 100% and i feel like i play with humans ! ai at ac can be brutal , can be huge @ssholes , you must be pay huge attention because ai will .....kill you . i love ac with csp and content manager - sol !
I am supprised how good the old AC looks like with mods. I wish there were easier ways for us to find these mods on steam. Sadly it is not like that. But i enjoy watching such videos like this keep up these vids, acc, ac, raceroom bring them to light 😎

u can already tel lthat this mod is detailed by the bumps and bounces that the car absorbs i see some mods that literally doesnt bounce at all like the suspension is made out of like an obsidian

@@Yokazz dirt rally 1 and 2 are both sims. What makes Richard burns rally a sim and not dr2? You can say period but not back it with any supporting conclusion. My conclusion: I've driven rally cars alot(I live right next to New England rally)and it does an amazing job of simulating rally. It may not have a 40 point tire model but it's a sim. Get over it. Fucking keyboard warriors. Get out ya mommas basement and you might know what a sim was when you played it. Anyone arguing the fact has never driven a rally car.

He used custom shaders. You can download customizable shaders and tune them to your taste. I don't think that its easy to find the combination to make it look this good, so you can alternatively create your own shader setup. You will need the AC mod laucher btw

The Hypercars did 1.27 at lemans. The lmp2s can do 1.27 and did that time before. The lmp2s are really slowed down to make the Hypercars looked good.
