What am I doing wrong? I love the look of this hat but the bottom (brim) is so tight! The rest of the hat is nice and stretchy. Is there a way to change that. Can the pattern be reversed in someway?

Your pattern calls for 62 chains and 60 double-crochets for the first row. Then you say to begin the first row into the 4th chain from the end. Shouldn't you do 64 chains and not 62? If you do 62 chains, then begin the first row on the 4th chain in, then you're short by 2. If I do 62 chains and begin on the 4th chain, I only end up with 58 double-crochets.
