Book I am currently reading: KJV Bible, favorite flowers: Daisies and Sunflowers (such happy flowers!). My perennials I have are Jerusalem artichokes, and asparagus. Already got a harvest of Asparagus. Planting Zucchini, Tomatoes, Bell peppers, corn, and cabbage this year. They are started in my garage. Moving outside next week. I cannot imagine how amazing it would be to sleep out on that porch of yours during a rainstorm. That would be so calming and relaxing. I pray you are healing more and more each day. Soon you will get that boot off, and be back to normal in no time. Thanks for the great recipes and thank you for your wonderful videos!

Hi Julie, your porch is so beautiful. It would be my quiet place too. We have a deck and we live in the woods so it's jyst beautiful and jungle like. It's not closed in ( I'd love for it to be) but I love it. It's such a great place to spend time with God.
I'm reading a couple devotion books and trying to study the Old Testament. In my young days I avoided the Old Testament so I'm trying to redeem myself.

Lovely video Julie!! I had to laugh because I came out to sit on my patio (yes, love being able to sit out on the cool patio and hear the birds!) and eat my breakfast too! I went a bit crazy and had my homemade chili for breakfast, I have the same breakfast every morning, homemade yogurt, homemade granola with strawberries and blueberries and a hot london fog latte, but I had my tea (no yogurt) hours ago and thought why not change it up a bit? Lol..living on the edge I guess! I am going to try the curry tonight. My son has food allergies and can't do coconut and nuts, but he is in college now so I can make it for dinner! Thanks for the lovely and informative (and delightful) video! I love basil too!! I am jealous of your rain. I am in the mountains of AZ and keeping fingers crossed for some rain this summer.

@@JulieKeeperofMyHome I do. It has many lessons about love and the power of God and the universe and how it shapes us. It’s a simple read, at least the copy that I have. But, it’s a good one because my son and I can read right along with each other, and discuss it as we go.

Watching your site here from Orono, sitting on our deck (because it’s breezy) looking out at the Penobscot and Ayer’s Island. Peaceful, but now come the 🦟. Like you folks we filled our window boxes with geraniums on those nice 2 warm days. My gardens beds are all prepped but we don’t dare plant our seedlings til after Memorial Day. Ive had too many years of having to cover them at night into June. Stay well and keep enjoying what you’re doing…we enjoy you both!!! 😊
