This gig was one of the highlights of the early part of the bands existence. To me, It's a part of the music culture in Ireland. I was there, it was as great as it looks. End of the world feel with that wind blowing across the whole festival.

The joy I felt at this show, I don’t know if I will experience that again, 18 not a care in the world, just present and happy. When they stoped for a minute everyone sang ‘ole ole’ and he played the melody on his guitar back to the crowd, it was beautiful.
I’ll never forget the look on his face.

I'm sure the wind was blowing exactly horizontally during that. Proper Irish weather conditions for an outdoor gig. Bands need to be good enough to play in that. The Strokes nailed it. Amazing gig.

No sé que sea , simplemente a veces se dan las cosas para un gran concierto ,hasta el público se entrega al máximo ,el sonido es increíble ,la entrega de los músicos también,se dan su tiempo para interpretar las rolas sin apresurarse en los tiempos ,hasta sopla el viento para darle un toque especial jaja ,todo perfecto.
Estoy 100% de acuerdo, me duele verdaderamente no haber presenciado conciertos de esta era. Al menos pude verlos en vivo hace 2 meses y espero que no sea la última!!!!
@@elcabronculero3 pues yo igual , aunq es un concierto de hace tiempo en donde estaban en su punto máximo los strokes ,yo no la había visto más que hasta la revolución del u tube ,cuando pasó ni esperanzas de verlo ya que como un adolescente en un país donde no es tan común ir a conciertos en otros países y menos en esos años pues no era posible ,solo disfruté esa era mediante los.discos como la mayoría
