True! However, it would be best to just have it be animated instead of in live action. Believe me, we don’t need more CGI fiascos like the two ‘movies’ that Nickelodeon gave us.
Wow. I'm impressed by the balls at 7:07 on that snake. It's not too often I see balls look that connected. Often when bosses are made up of balls, I see the balls detach from each other at some point, and it really makes the boss look really disjointed, not like a whole being (which is what it's supposed to look like), and draws attention to the balls too much in my opinion. But here, I'm hardly seeing the balls detach from each other, or even get so far apart that it looks unintentionally too unnatural. My only problem is that head though... it's drawn nicely but something about it has that "detached" feeling like it's not smoothing in with the rest of the body like it should somehow.. Kinda reminds me of the snake Jafar boss in the SNES Aladdin. But with better balls because the neck is made up of balls instead of being a drawn sprite. More flow IMO.
This game has such gorgeous sprites with hilarious animations! Also the attention to detail and source material in this game was awesome. Konami usually did their homework when making games based off of cartoons or comics.
Yeah, he may have acted like a villain sidekick in the series, but he does not deserve to die so horribly. Even if he needed to face accountability for his crimes, death is not the way to do it. I know deep down there is goodness in him that he has trouble showing in front of others, according to a few scenes I caught in most of the episodes.
Honest with you? I like your choice of name better than his apparent-official one, "Sid Arachnid". (Least I THINK that's Sid - the gun that fires webs is what leads me to that conclusion.) I'd give you more info on this, but I'd need to rewatch the series to give more details than that. Incidentally, they actually got one of the other bosses' names wrong in this. (I'll leave someone else to point out whom.)
@Shadowserg The somersault jump after you do the A+B ram them has invincibility and absorbs projectiles. And you can cancel it by pulling to the opposite direction. It's a nice way to cover distances safely. The other move (Up+A+B) is also a nice melee for certain bosses and the big normal enemies sine it hits quick and cancels quickly into another one
Comet raised a mesa to the western skies With the sound of a thousand cattle drives A chosen few would see the light And fight the wrong with right Up on the mesa High above the clouds There's a world apart from all the rest On Moo Mesa Live the real cowboys Standing up for law and order And livin' by the code of the west...
Never knew there was a game for this. I wish Konami or capcom did games or a game for C.O.P.S. Centurions. SilverHawks. Inhumanoids. Visionaries or sheesh, arcade ports of Transformers & Thundercats which to this day never got shine as a hot 2D action game in the arcades smh
Despite this being based on an American show, I somehow only see Saddle Sore’s name making sense as a play on the Japanese word for scorpion, sasori...
Played a lot at the arcade, another one from the days Konami could apparently take anything and turn it into gold. Rather easy game though, even the final boss once you understand that most time the easiest route is to stay close to him and crouch, even if he's got some attacks made to prevent that.
What is it with you people questioning anthros having feral horses? You might as well ask why anthros in Mickey's world have a feral dog like Pluto, or anthros like Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar are in a county with feral cattle and horses around.
So random this cartoon gets a Arcade release from Konami.... I remember at that time walking home from school thinking of what other cartoons IP of the time that should’ve gotten a beatup coop game
This game is non canon. If it had been canon, Boot Hill would not have still been alive in the second season. I would hate it if he got killed. He may be an outlaw, but he doesn't deserve to die.
@@johnmorey720 This game was made before the second season was complete. Many games made at the time inspired by cartoon shows had familiar bosses killed, but they still lived afterward somehow.
Great boss run, but why play as Dakota instead of the actual star of the show, Moo Montata? The last sequences of the game are especially taylor-made with Montana in mind.
If he was too old, he'd be in a wheelchair in a retirement home. Besides I'm sure he's around the same age as Scrooge McDuck who may be elderly, but he's still strong enough to do things a young character can.
Chdonga 1) These are only the bosses, not a complete playthrough; 2) I'd say it has more in common with Sunset Riders, another Run'n Gun from Konami around the same era

"I'm gonna barbeque your ribs!" Is actually a pretty gruesome threat in hindsight.
The third boss was "what am I doing with my life", even the balloon had the same face. His aircraft exploding didn't even phase him.
Can I get an F in chat for him? He was cool.
*BOOM*
"Finally..."
Third boss is Hide the Pain Harold
It's official, we need a anthropomorphic movie cinematic universe featuring the Ninja Turtles, the Cow Boys, and Usagi Yojimbo!
That's a pretty intense group lol
What about battle toads and street sharks?
True!
However, it would be best to just have it be animated instead of in live action.
Believe me, we don’t need more CGI fiascos like the two ‘movies’ that Nickelodeon gave us.
Throw in Bucky O'Hare and I'm down.
You not far off of that because the C.O.W. Boys did appear as a cameo in an episode of TMNT: Fast Forward.

The furry sunset riders

Not gonna lie, Boot Hill Buzzard actually dying in the game saddens me. He was a pawn of the bigger boss and didn't deserve that. 😢

sunset riders but with cows
kaos ascendent Nice segue for Konami!
kaos ascendent jejeje
Except sunset riders didn't get its own cartoon series
Boss #3 reminds me to the Boss from Sunset Riders (Same Face)

Fausto De Luna Interesting question: Who is that?!

Wild West Tauren-Boys of Moo Mesa :)
That first boss brought a knife to a gunfight. He’s no Rick Grimes.

Lol, nice cow puns!😆🤣😂
Furry will love this game.

This was basically part sunset riders, part TMNT arcade game. Still played it, all the way through 🤩
MYYYYY Favorite video game since i was 5 years old!
You can actually overlap the barrel at 3:00. It's quicker to bullet dump that way.
I don't know how you do all this amazing boss fights.
this is a game!? Konami sure had the right idea!
This before Konami become a piece of shyt with his pachink
This and Sunset Riders which is also Konami
Sounds like Pacman when he spin jumps and gets picked up by the bird

I hope this means we're getting closer to getting the sprites ripped.
The most famous cartoon ever watched not just in TV shows but also in video games as well.👍👍👍

So... The events in the game happened in Brazil?
