@@eliaspuppet9973 I just wish western genre was not underrated, then maybe those western based cartoons would have more than one or two seasons. It's just not fair.
This might be Dakota's craziest strength feat yet. A river boat like that typically weighs about 1700 pounds, and even with it being afloat for leverage Dakota still towed it for several feet out of the water and onto dry land. That is just insane.
I had the toy of Five Card Cud when I was a kid. But that was before the cartoon was out, I barely remember this. There's something endearing about a western cartoon with cows where the characters got to smoke cigars and shoot poker chips and marshal stars out of their guns.
This is actually Season 1 Episode 10, since it aired on November 14, 1992 in the US. Season 1 Episode 2 is actually "A Snake in Cow's Clothing", which aired on September 19, 1992
I had one of these on VHS. I still need to go to the Lone Oak Ranch to watch the cartoon along with Rose-Petal Place, Prancer, Lady LovelyLocks, The Princess Diaries, Clarissa Explains It All, any ballerina VHS tape and Billboard Dad.
This is the only episode when the storyboard artists, color stylists and animators had given Dakota a deputy badge. I'm glad that they didn't also give Cowlorado a deputy badge too because it would've gotten in the way of the horse shoe detail of his vest. And to those who know of this and don't know of this yet, Jeff Bennett who was the voice of the Cowlorado Kid for Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa was also the voice of the Cartoon Network character "Johnny Bravo" too.
Thanks for uploading these man. I used to have every episode on vhs. But after my grandma moved she lost them all, I was looking on amazon for them and their like 30 bucks a piece
+The Invisible Mare Jeff Bennett also voiced as Dexter's dad for Dexter's Labratory that was also aired on the same channel "Cartoon Network" that Johnny Bravo was aired on.
....How much more experience does he need? He just about made Franks and Beans deputies and they're slower than molasses in January on the second tuesday
Call me crazy but Dakota is best deputy ever but Cowlorado is not deputy yet but real thing is that always have the best experience under your belt but he's a self proclaimed ladies man
5:24 I honestly think that scene should have came at the beginning of the episode or at least after the first scene with C.O.W.-Boys rescuing the armadillos.
He tried, but the other guy wouldn't listen. Also he would have blown his cover too soon, plus Cody ended up being alright in the end, after going under cover himself.
Dakota Dude sounds exactly like Leatherhead from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles because these characters were voiced by an American voice actor named Jim Cummings. In other words, Marshall Moo Montana is Marshall BraveStarr's voice because they were voiced by Pat Fraley.
Jim Cummings and Pat Fraley were iconic voice actors for sure. Marshall Bravestarr and Leatherhead and of course Marshall Moo Montana, along with The Dakota Dude too!!!!!!!!!!!!
0:05 This video upload started without the theme song. 0:15 How was it possible for Cowlorado Kid to not have a deputy badge when he is an actual deputy? This is also the only time Dakota is seen wearing a badge. 2:11 Did people talk like that in the western times? 3:17 It must have been from all the criminals running around and the neediness for law and order at all costs. 5:31 There is a picture on the wall and on a wine bottle that both look to have faces on it. Although they look to resemble anthropomorphic bulls. 5:56 Five Card Cud hired him for sure. 6:06 When Cowlorado Kid showed in his disguise, I might have thought he might have mugged someone for a disguise by knocking someone out and stealing clothes from the person for his disguise. Also, Cowlorado Kid made the decision to go after Five Card Cud in disguise all on his own, without Moo and Dakota knowing. 6:34 Cowlorado Kid’s Johnny Slim disguise had him sound like Johnny Bravo. I also might have thought Johnny Slim was human, because it didn’t have animal in its name, and Cowlorado might have impersonated him. It was like Five Card Cud was expecting a human in person when it doesn’t relate to the plot. 13:07 Potential Fourth Wall Break with Cowlorado looking front view. 20:12 There is a goof in Cowlorado Kid’s speech when he was not moving his mouth as he talked at the near end of the episode.
There's Mayor Blank/The Carpeted Man from "The Tick" as Moo Montana, Owen Burnett/Brooklyn from "Gargoyles" as Cowlorado Kid, Barry Hubris/Thrakkorzog/Mr. Mental/Multiple Santa from "The Tick" as The Dakota Dude/Saddle Sore, and Elsie Chapman from "Godzilla: The Series" as Lily Bovine.

I've been wondering about that too. He's wearing pants obviously from what we can see. But I think he's just wearing a vest, the belt too and that's plainly it I think.
Am I the only one who finds it funny that calf pint is reading buck Finn as in huck Finn, as in the book with the n word in it, and this was in a time before overreacting censorship
I regret missing out on this show three decades ago, now I hope it's not too late to catch up on it.
it never too late for the classics
@@eliaspuppet9973 Thanks. I also missed out on Bravestarr, Galaxy Rangers, and Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs.

johnny Bravo!! at 6:33
The Invisible Mare I know I cracked up at that XD
+The Invisible Mare Voiced by the same actor "Jeff Bennett".
*****
cool
+The Invisible Mare Jeff Bennett also voiced as Dexter's dad for Dexter's Labratory that was also aired on the same channel "Cartoon Network" that Johnny Bravo was aired on.
That accent also reminds me of Clay
You gotta love Five Card Cud

Wow! I liked this cartoon..
I just hope somebody to have the second season in High Quality
"u have to do that in front of me?" Wth WAS that!? Haha 🤣 in a kids show.

Johnny slim. GET IT?! JOHNNY BRAVO!!!!!! LOL!
Mn
I wonder if this was ever an inspiration for Johnny Bravo.
Pooh bear. ❤
That Small Change guy sounds like Gopher from Winnie-the-Pooh.
That's because Michael Gough voices both of them.
Toon Disney. 🎉
So they did have an episode with Five Card Cud. I remember him being an action figure but didn’t think he appeared on the cartoon.
9:54 Why didn’t Kid defend Cody?!

And Jim cummings
Evil clown. Scar. Ed. Frankenstein. 😮

Marshall BraveStarr was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
20:03 His response sounded super weird like it wasin't even the same voice actor. (Comparison: 2:53)
I like how Cody likes to be realistic by calling her Calamity instead of Cowlamity
Wow I have not seen this since I was a little girl.
I hear that line for year's 2:49
That's Johnny Bravo!
Could use a few more Bovine puns
Who does voice Five Card Cud anyway?
Well hey Johnny Bravo
Strange, was 5 Card Cud not called Five Card Stud according to the Game?
Johnny Slim sounds more like Johnny Bravo

He IS. Haha 😆 I was that voice sounds veeery familiar. And after googling it it IS Jeff Bennett!
Jim Cummings: The icon who is also the voice of Winnie the Pooh

Yes he IS. Voiced by Jeff Bennett. I too heard the voice sounded so familiar!

Historic novels aren't censored. Also the N-Word had not yet gathered it's full degrading meaning yet. It wouldn't until a few decades later.
